  Firefox is the only browser that allows me to connect with my microphone. I need to use this feature for an online class. When I talked about ccleaner, it was in the generic sense. I avoided ccleaner because I thought it was a big hammer and some data that he brags about getting rid of I really want to continue.   I tried to reinstall the program. I tried to uninstall and reinstall. I tried to restart the reinstallation. It's under my account on the computer, it works fine in my regular user account. I didn't install or use Thunderbird in my normal user account until after the restoration of Windows 7.

  The problem has been resolved by uninstalling Avast Antivirus software. Apparently, there is a problem with the latest version of it which had applied yesterday. In addition, it is weird that disable Avast did not help.
