Customization of the System Console in OAM identity

Hello

I want to customize the page identity system console in OAM... I'm not able to locate the relevant specific XSL files (in the folder lang/shared)...
Please update me if anyone knows what are the relevant XSL files...

Thanks in advance...

Kind regards
Srikanth

Hi Srikanth,

Customize the identity system Console is not supported by Oracle and is not usually possible by xsl customization. You can do something with the gifs, but as far as I know this is all that is possible.

Kind regards

  • Cannot access the System Recovery Console invalid password

System Recovery Console insists that I use a "invalid password". I installed Win7. I make a written record of all used passwords so I'm sure I know the password I put in the first place; It is a simple word, that I always use for low security situations.  However, I tried all variants of logics of this password (upper and lower case, etc.), but nothing works.  I loaded 'ophcrack LiveCD' and found that the password is .  I tried to use no password and this also fails.

What can I do to pass in addition to "invalid password" so I can't enter the System Recovery Console?

    Thank you.

    Hey Ron,.

I finally got some time to focus on this and learned something that could explain the difficulties you encounter!

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/what-happened-to-the-recovery-console

It seems that the Recovery Console has been taken from Windows Vista (and 7). Personally I did not know this, but then again I don't use it every day! :) So in short, it is not designed to work with Windows 7, and this issue is the result of this.

Sorry it took me so long to find! I hope that answers your question!

  • missing or corrupt file system 32 config system access denied in the recovery console

I tried to solve the problem with a 32 corrupt system config and when I go into the recovery console, it does not ask for any password which is one of the first things that the recovery console is supposed to ask.  When I type the command 'md tmp' to start the recovery process, it tells me ACCESS DENIED.  I have no password for the system or the administrative password.  I hope someone can help me.  Thank you very much.  I use the dell 4700 running windows XP.

    (b) set incorrect permissions

    (c) corrupted somehow

For me, the problem was intermittent (same registry key would sometimes cause the issue and sometimes not - must be corrupted sometimes) so it was impossible to tell what program it was.  Fortunately, there is a newspaper, you can watch that will tell you exactly what registry key is slightest mistake out.  Here are the steps to get the newspaper, you must see:

When you see the error message, follow these steps:

1.) press SHIFT + F10 to get to a command prompt

    2.) stand C:\windows\Panther

3.) find the Setup.etl file and find a way to copy this file out of the system (I copied it to the partition D:\ and Ghost used to collect this partition and down the file)

4.) copy the file to another computer that has Windows 7 setup.etl corrupt system.  Place it at the root of C:\ for easier access.

5.) open a prompt on the Windows 7 computer.

6.) navigate to the root of C:\ (or anywhere where you saved the file)

    7.) type "tracerpt setup.etl o logfile.csv.

8.) close command prompt and open logfile.csv in your text editor of choice.

9.), look in the log file (near the end, probably) for messages that say "Failed to key"reg"process or one of its descendants" to me, the exact eror looked like this: "failed to process the"reg"key or one of its descendants: [profile \REGISTRY\MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ESET\ESET Security\CurrentVersion\Plugins\01000200\Profiles\@My] ' If you search for"«key reg"' or «failed in the process»»» You should find the failure.

10.) remove this software from your image, or how to get the registry key that does not work properly.

After that, you should be able to correctly identify any key problem and the elimination/workaround on your image.

  • How to customize the system Pages

Hi friends! I have worked on it a little and can't really find something that helps or which explains how to do this. Basically, I just make my system better pages look. I've seen many pages system with BC on several sites and they have all the content of the page system (in this example I'll use the Site Manager-> System Pages-> secure an unauthorized area) but it will be on a Web page that has their background and all menus they have all other pages. That's what the default is in British Colombia22.png

And it is bcgurus.com when you click on the 'Account' tab at the top of the page23.png

See what I mean? I want mine to look like the content of this page by default above to be on my background of Web sites.

I asked a few other people, but all tell me the same thing, "CSS". But nobody never told me how to get started or give me tips that might help me on the way. I'm here to learn and not to have people do everything for me, I even watched Lynda tutorial and other tutorials online, but I have no idea where to start even. Also, is it just CSS to customize these pages or can I use Muse? or I can use an other tabs in British Colombia as "Developing" or "Edit" or even "manage"? Or is it a mixture of the two?

I hope that this post was not too complicated or confusing.

Any help or suggestions are always appreciated. Thank you!

First thing, it is that these pages a system model if they are not. You do this on the system pages in the admin. You will see this model.
This gives you what your site. This is how you set up your BC site to run off of models, not only on a page-by-page html.

This will give you all the menu etc stuff you mention, then it's just a matter of formatting of the html code you want, putting in the content you want and by targeting the elements with CSS to match your design.

How CSS, CSS etc is only to learn, and you can use a variety of places on the web to learn everything if you need to.

Try to restart your system in init 1

  • A patch prevents the system from start - after KB981852

Now I got my Windows 7 x 64 no longer starts after the automatic update of last night. Seems that some hardware configurations are not affected. I can't start for something else than to the console. I tried to remove everything "removable". All I need is to begin the system only once, to run some software to make backups. Unfortunately, I don't have restore points, or images of my system. In the newspapers of the restoration, I could see 'BadPatch '.

    Hi MichaelKim,

Do you get any error messages when you try to start?

Step 1: Try the Startup Repair tool and check if the problem persists

Startup Repair:- Startup Repair is a Windows Recovery tool that can fix certain problems, such as system files missing or damaged that could preventWindows to start properly.

Access system recovery options. Follow the steps mentioned in the link below

What are the 7 system recovery options windows?

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/what-are-the-system-recovery-options-in-Windows-7

Step 2: Try to remove the update pending via the Windows Recovery Environment command prompt (WIN RE)

    (a) access advanced menu boot options by pressing the key F8 during restart the computer > on the screen Advanced Startup Options > optionSelect repair your computer (as mentioned in the previous step)

    (b) now select recovery command line tool

    (c) at the command prompt, type Dism/Online/Get - Packages , and then press ENTER.

This will produce a list of updates installed and packets.  They will look like this:

    The package identity: WUClient-SelfUpdate-Core-TopLevel ~ 31bf3856ad364e35 ~ x 86 ~ ~ 7.4.7600.226

    Status: installed

    Output type: Feature Pack

    Install time: 25/09/2009 12:02 AM

Find the most recent and then make a note of the name of the package.

    (d) then run the command: dism Online/Remove-Package/PackageName:WUClient-SelfUpdate-Core-TopLevel ~ 31bf3856ad364e35 ~ x 86 ~ ~ 7.4.7600.226 (name of update of the previous step)

Restart the computer and test to see if the problem persists

  • the system state data can be contained in 2 different folders, e.g. Windows or host1

    Hello

Recently, my computer was able to start and I had neglected to backup my data. While dealing with the Windows Recovery Console, I inadvertently added a folder called host1 to the system. I tried to replace and remove this folder, but could not. Currently, I'm trying to back up my data to the system state by using the Windows backup utility. What's weird, is that in the log file, "Host1" is listed under the file saved to the system state data. Previously, these data were in the "Windows" folder The content of two files seems to be identical. I need to get rid of unnecessary duplication in my system. The backup file size was more than 200 gb. Phew!

    Thank you

Before deleting copy just the system folder windows.old + System32 files (these files contain most of the settings and drivers. (In the case where in the future you need a driver for a printer you have you can always point windows to find in these files) in a new folder on the C drive and delete the rest in the windows.old and the folder windows.old himself. You could rename the Windows folder and not the host1 because XP uses host1 as its new folder. This is where the operating system boots from. The old windows folder contains more data due to past use and all programs that you have installed since you had the PC.

    All the best

  • Unable to restore the system, possible hard disk problems

I started to have a white screen on startup and could not go beyond the apple logo. I ran the recommended repairs but could not manage to detect the operating system if the recovery console could see everything fine. The console suggested a repair disk I ran, but it seems to fail and goes to a blank gray screen.

I pulled the drive and back up the contents of my PC and noticed them were three partitions showing in this regard. There was no problem of backup files as well so it seems that the drive is ok. After plugging it back in I tried internet recovery option and it only detects the HD recovery. I tried to erase disk02 but it does not work as well. I also use the restore option, but this also fails. I'm more used to the windows system restore and I'm not sure just what I might be missing.

I have attached the photos on what I see, so hopefully that will help.

    http://imgur.com/a/nsyx8

Enter the Recovery > disk utility. Select 1 TB HD Apple ST *, and then click Delete. Then click the Partition tab use arrow on the "Current" bar and select 1 Partition. Below you see a + sign or Options and will make this is the Table of Partition GUID. You will be he title Macintosh HD and Mac OS extended (journaled) and then click on apply. Now, you'll see Macintosh HD instead of the disk 0 sec 2. Select Macintosh HD, and then click Delete. Now, you erase Macintosh HD. It should be GUID Partition Table Mac OS extended (journaled). You should be able to put it in to your Mac you install El Capitan. Hope this helps you.

  • Stuck in the dock icon. The system will not stop?

After the Java Update 1.8.91, whenever a Java application had been opened and closed again, the Java icon remains on the bench of the accused.

This isn't the real problem, stop via the Apple menu does nothing. The iMac not simply stopped. OS X 10.11.5. It is somehow in an intermediate state, where no other application opens more.

Here's what I've tried so far:

    1. Force quit changes logo from Java to a Terminal logo = > icon remains docked, without stop down via the Apple menu.
    2. By dragging the icon Java/Terminal to the desktop or the trash can displays the text "Remove", but won't actually remove the icon. Needless to say: stop always is not possible.
    3. Since the iMac is set up for multiple users, I can change via the user menu in the login window, and here I can click on the icon/symbol of closure. After you enter the credentials of the administrator, the system stops... Finally.
    4. I have already completely uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version of Java (1.8.91). No change.
    5. The strange thing is, there is no Java process visible in the activity monitor or in the Terminal window when you use the top or ps commands...
    6. Disk utility = > first aid doesn't change anything either.
    7. In the console is a warning against a coreaudio with Java incompatibility... But I don't know how it might help the situation.

I have no idea process to kill or what to install/uninstall in order to launch a 'clean' close.

Advice or assistance is highly appreciated.

    Thank you.

The software for a Wacom tablet is known to prevent the shutdown of OS X 10.11.5. If this software is installed and that you no longer use the device, please remove the software. Otherwise, check with the manufacturer for support or an update. Back up all data before making any changes.

  • Die Power Mac or an anomaly in the system serious?

Power Mac G5 (June 2004 version)

    OS X Version 10.5.8

I have a 700 GB drive, which has an operating system partition and a single data where I save the work and other files. A couple of weeks, I used SilverKeeper to the ice to back up my apps folder and data to a whole new Samsung 2 TB disk that I had deleted and format (which, although it came with an installer, I was unable to use because it is for Intel Macs only) and left on overnight. SilverKeeper was frozen so I started to work in the morning, but it seemed that everything was copied successfully. Now I don't know for certain that my subsequent problems started with this event, but following it, Finder now takes an age to open folders, the system or on my drive of partitioned data, or completely freezes and means that I have to perform the forced reboot. I deleted the various preferences such as system ones like zapping the PRAM. The strange thing is that after it zapping, the computer restarts on my second drive when I always seem to remember that he started the last used boot disk.

Oddly enough, I can still use all of my apps and can't seem to save and open files on a backup external drive which leads me to think it might be a hardware problem as it seems to affect the second internal drive as well. It has stopped also now boot from the power button and I have to use the option key method. Oddly enough, my second drive is always shown as selected. I don't want to wipe the drive and start again if I can avoid it, as I did with the second disc and now only one will not boot at all.

As it is an old Mac I guess I would have expected something like this (However, it never happened with Mac earlier), but if anyone out there has a suggestion, I would be very grateful to hear it.

    Hello

Open the activity monitor, see the: > all processes of sorting on the % of CPU, see if anything with too much % of CPU when this happens, click the memory tab, you have lots of Pageouts?

Open the Console in Applications > utilities and see if there are clues or recurrent messages when this happens.

Click on the top line, we want to Shift more click on the bottom line, we want, CMD + c to copy, then paste the text into a response with CMD + v

A few dozen lines should be on the right, several hundreds or thousands will probably not readable

  • 17.0.1 Firefox (and its windows install app) completely freezes the system (win7 x 64)

    Hello

When I tried this morning to start Firefox 17.0.1 on my computer, everything stopped working. In fact, he worked for 0.1 dry and then hung for 10 seconds somehow I managed to open the Task Manager and tried to complete the process (tree), but the firefox process would not die. Hard drive did a very monotonous thing all the time, so I thought that the material may be responsible. I rebooted and uninstalled the old firefox (I use the system normally begin at the moment that I start ff), rebooted to chkdsk and Defrag the disk. (During the uninstallation, I also removed the personal preferences). When I tried to install it again (I'm a webdev and I NEED firebug) application of installation exact same thing with the same monotonous hard drive operation. It occurred just after that I pressed the first button below and before step 2 text was displayed in the window (it was empty with back, next and disabled Finish button).

Some Firefox problems can be solved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you remove Firefox and all the leftover program files and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps one by one:

    1. Download the latest version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org office and save the installer to your computer.
    2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (click Exit in the file menu or Firefox) and confirm all future messages.
    3. Now, uninstall Firefox by following the steps mentioned in the article to Uninstall Firefox .

IMPORTANT: Under Windows, the uninstall program has the option to remove your personal data and settings. Make sure that you have not check this option. If not all of your bookmarks, passwords, extensions, customizations and other Firefox data user profile will be removed from your computer.

After uninstalling Firefox on Windows, delete the folder of the program "Mozilla Firefox", located by default in one of the following locations:

    • (Windows 32-bit) C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
    • (On 64-bit Windows) C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
    1. Go to the Windows Start menu and click on 'computer '.
    2. In the Explorer window that opens, double-click on disk Local (c) to open the C:\ drive.
    3. Find the folder "Program Files (x 86)" or "Program Files".
      • On 32-bit Windows, double-click the Program Files folder to open it.
      • On 64-bit Windows, you'll see a folder "Program Files (x 86)" AND a "Program Files" folder. Open the Program Files (x 86) folder.
    4. You are looking for a folder of Mozilla Firefox . If you find one, right click and select delete and confirm that you want to move the folder to the trash.

Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:

    1. Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
    2. Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.

I have a mac pro 3.1. How can I transfer the system to a new and bigger drive? The old drive is much too small.

I'm not familiar with your model computer, but there are several ways to do so.  If the computer can accommodate multiple disks, you can install the new drive next to the former.  If she does not accept another disk, you can in these external adapters for about $30, which allow you to attach a bare drive to a computer with USB.  Then, you clone the internal drive to the new. Cloning is a special form of the copy.  It copies all files including startup system files so that your new drive is essentially identical to the first.

    Double clone - http://www.bombich.com/software/ccc.html

    SuperDuper - http://www.shirt-pocket.com/SuperDuper/SuperDuperDescription.html (shareware)

    IBackup - http://www.grapefruit.ch/iBackup/index.html (free)

The restore function of disk utility included in directions of OS X. alarm - http://discussions.apple.com/message/8799711#8799711 (a former post but can still work).

Clone the old drive to the new, then install a new one.
