  You can try to click on 'Restore Default Set', which should bring back this button on the tab bar.

• Extension to customize the toolbar?

  Hi all, I've been kicking around menus and preferences of the application and cannot remember anything for that in all my years of using Photoshop. I'm on version 5.5 and consider myself a power of this user. I am looking for a way to keep the subset of tools in my tool bar extended at any time. It seems that little to hold the pipette and wait half a second for sub tools extend out before selecting the rule, but when you consider this 30 times a day, can become really high.

  I was curious if anyone knew where in the application that I could customize the toolbar or if there was all the extensions that could help with this.

  Any help is greatly appreciated.

• Where is the button 'Use small icons' customize the toolbar (or equivalent) passed?

  I think my toolbar is taking up a lot of screen space since I installed Firefox version 29,0. I want like to screen for web pages space that possible but have still my toolbar is accessible at all times. Is it possible to do what the button 'use small icons' in the toolbar Customize with some other (hidden) setting? I don't mind if it crops up and down "big buttons.

  I read something about a 'Restorer of classic theme", which is the only recommended way to go for now?

• Customize the toolbar - remove the search bar!

  Lack of space at the top of my browser, I would remove the Ribbon from the toolbar to the toolbar to search. I did it. Having now that I noticed that the option 'search in the help..' resets the default Firefox 'Google' which i configured to not be the case (in all: config-> keyword-> browser.search.defaultengine;).
  I tried to change browser.search.defaultenginename; for the necessary (which btw resolved the issue).
  I do not understand why to delete a toolbar would reset the "research use" for keyword based search.

  There seems to be an effect. Of after some clicking and dragging, it's what I see:

  Displayed search box: context menu item uses "browser.search.selectedEngine" (identical to the search box)

  NOT displayed search box: context menu item uses "browser.search.defaultenginename".

  It works to set the preferred "browser.search.defaultenginename"?

  I spent a lot of time - especially frustrating - trying to learn how to use the InDesignb after being a Pagemaker user for years.  I have resolved many issues, but still have a few remarkable - I'll probably group them on separate "threads".  So first:

  I found the menus customization - but they are just a selection of the bits to do or not to do panels & predetermined InDesign menus.  Confusingly, some elements are more than one.

  Is it possible to customize the icons bars (or whatever they are called up and left side).  They include a lot of things that I don't use, but I would like to include other - e.g. Group/Ungroup, hidden characters / or not, repeat, send to back/forward, check, spelling textwrap ignore, etc.  These and others were just click on PageMaker (right click, Panel, etc), but seem to need a few clicks to get to now.  Something like the icons drag / drop (on or off) on the word 'customize' would be useful.

  Y at - it icon to display if an object has been resized proprtinally?  -PageMaker had (disproportionate) 2 rectangles or 2 square (in proportion) on the control panel when a picture has been selected.  I find the InDesign very confusing to manage cropping and resizing.

  I put most of the "panels" on the list on the right, but often just to get the one thing which is not already on the top panel, which takes just a few clicks.

  I look forward to your suggestions.

  You can choose which available commands appear in a menu or context menu, but you cannot move them around from one to the other, yet without script. Similarly, you can customize the control panel to show or hide the available buttons or fields, but you can not rearrange (more pity) or add new ones. Narrow monitors are a special with this because nuisance that ID will take only what is suitable, even if you select more, and some items are wider that they really need to be. You have to experiment with what show you and hide with screens smaller than 1200 pixels, I think.

  It is has not NONPROPORTIONAL icon put across, although you can set as a live test upstream and it will throw a warning. You can also select an image with the direct Selection tool and look at the fields of the scale to see the difference in the values in the blink of an eye. If the link is defined, each field adjustment will bring the other to the same value.

• How can I customize the toolbar to display the Cancel button?

  Y at - it an equivalent of DW to the 'standard toolbar' in CFB2, because I'm looking for a way to put the most basic commands of the Undo/Redo/copy/paste editing and don't see a way to add them to a visible toolbar.  What I see is that I have to click on the Edit menu, and then select the order I want.  I'll be really disappointed if I can't include the basic like this on a toolbar commands.  Please don't tell me about shortcuts keyboard, I know they are there, but I would like to have the Visual buttons on my toolbar, too.  Record everything and Word Wrap would be another order I current have a toolbar of DW, but cannot see how to customize it in CFB2.  Am I missing something?

  I have news for you, some good, some bad, and somewhere, you can still help your cause.

  First of all, I note that I have raised this issue for you to RIAcon this weekend, when Hemant (Director of engineering for the CF and the BFC) spoke on CFB2. He agreed that the addition of the extra buttons for people who prefer what could be useful.

  I must admit, though, that I could not remember which key it was and thought it was a "BOLD". Someone pointed out that there is actually a bar of buttons for such things HTML (even if behind a tab, you have to notice and open). I think that may have then deflected the concern of Hemant for this.

  So I added here as a CC (don't know if he is a member of this forum. BTW, Hemant, if you're not, then no answer is not getting to the group, but if you add me in manually ([email protected]), I'll forward your answer if I do not appear in the forum.)

  And as I have noted, DCwebGuy - why don't people use first names in these forums? -you could and should at least raise this as a feature request. There may be others who are with you. The bugbase does support vote, and you could answer this note with your bug id to give it more publicity.

  Go (and not to be in a bad mood, but on the contrary speaking sincerely) when you say that you are a coder pure and hard, I think that there must be 'designer-like' features of DW that you like (well beyond this problem of click of a button) enough to bring you to prefer to stay here and not take advantage of many features in CFB who are NOT in DW. If this is not so, then maybe you don't see enough of what WMC can do for you.

  I'll tell you this: some features (like some elements of the fantastic code help) work only if you go the extra steps to log in to a server and things like that. If you don't do this, you will not see and enjoy these new and unique features has NOT of DW. Do you have at least seen demos or read the guides to fully appreciate what you give up? It is not "just another editor".

  But again, DW has certainly something that isn't the CFB (and may never), so she really different races for different people.

  Finally, if it was truly about shortcuts keyboard vs mouse clicks, I'll suggest that, at least with cancellations, ctrl-z is used in almost all applications out there, is not as if it was a burden to learn and use. It's a terrible way to end, I'm sure it sounds in a bad mood. Again, I don't want to say it. I'm just saying that I'm sure some reading of that would think, so if you went to answer feel free to do it for them - but please take a breath first, if it got up your blood pressure. And please do not shoot the Messenger.

  I need the tool rotation and the new tool of record at least, there is no "Customize" under the view menu toolbar, or anywhere else I can find. At least, I had these shortcuts automatically in Bridge cs4.
