  Just to confirm... are you saying that elements 13/13.1 first works OK on the same computer, timeline content as first elements 14? You run the 14.1 update, or if you're still at 14? If you have updated to 14 to 14.1, the content of the timeline plays OK in version 14?

• Quarter playback controls when the 3rd party app plays

  When a 3rd party application plays on my iPhone (Audible, Castro,...), my Apple Watch does not show the playback controls to it. Wait for the watch to show the same controls as the control center on my iPhone. But it shows a Play button and gray < <>> / buttons. Volume controls work well and when I press the play button, the 3rd party app is dimmed and the iOS app music begins to play.

  You are on iOS 6? Looks like something Apple has re-added to the video playback control. I doubt that we have control over it.

  I'm having trouble getting the video playback controls to show when I view a project on the iPad using the Adobe Content Viewer. I changed the options so that the controls always appear rather than when you hover etc. Any help would be much appreciated.

  Yes thank you Neil, I just found that too... I was checking 'Show controller on rolling' on the media Panel. However, as you pointed out, the important point is the "tap to display the controller" on the Panel of overlay of the Folio... everything works perfectly now.

  I have a project with playback controls that include the Pause/Play.

  I want to add two click boxes on a blade that the learner must click ' before being able to move to the next slide.

  When the slide reaches the first click box, the control Pause/Play display changes from Pause to play and the user can simply click on the "Play" option to work around the click box and move to the next slide, click point on the slide box, click 'replay' and then move to the next slide without having to go through the boxes click the slide.

  The simplest is hide the playback bar upon entering this slide and show again to the next slide. It is not possible to hide a button.

• Captivate 5: Table of contents used with playback control bar

  Hi - I want to have the Table of contents, fixed on the left and the bar under the main screen playback control.

  The question is when I put the reading under the screen, there is a gray area to the left of the bar and under the table of contents.

  I also tried the superposition of the play bar on top of the lower part of the screen so it is aligned with the bottom of the table of contents, but there are still 35 gray pixels below the entire film (see attached screenshots).

  Anyone know how to change the gray color that appears in the table of contents?

  To my knowledge, this is not possible with the standard features of Captivate TOC.  You will have to live with it.

  In fact, I prefer to use the table of contents in overlay mode because it gives me more screen real estate to devote to the course content.  I train my users to wait for this is how the TOC works via a slide of training unique navigatiion placed to the beginning of the intro module in each course.

• Move the playback controls

  Is it possible to move the playback controls to the top of the screen? I have trouble finding the settings that will allow me to do.

  Could you please say what version of Captivate you use? In CP5, you can insert a bar reading "floating". Take a look at this blog:

  Those are the widgets, which are not available in CP4, sorry. CP5, that you can also change the position of the playback bar upwards (using skin editior) but in CP4 PlayBar can always is at the bottom.

• Prevent users from using the playback control progress bar

  I have a series of slides in a movie I want to controlled by buttons previous and next to each slide for help click on options in the box.  I want also the Playback Control progress bar appears but ONLY indictate users to step into the film and not to click on any part of the bar to advance to one of the slides and to come.
