• How to create a rectangle of fixed ratio and move without cutting the image?

  I know it's a simple question with a simple answer, but I did not yet find that answer. Usually, I crop my photos in a size 2 to 1 fixed ratio for Twitter. I used to extend the fixed ratio to the size I wanted and then move the tool of selection of ants marching to the area I wanted to reframe. However, in the last few months I'm not able to move the selection without cutting the photo. I used to create my selection and move the cursor over the moving dotted line and then move the selection. This is never a problem. All the answers as to what I might hurt?

  If there is no selection and you move the selection with the "MOVE TOOL" it will reduce the image

  To move the selection without cutting image, use any 'Sélection' tool instead of the move tool.

• Script to remove all the images, text blocks, and the page numbers on a layer

  I have a 364 pages with 322 illustrations, photographs mainly, for offset printing.

  The photographs will be be overprinted with the varnish on a plate in the fifth, and I set it up as follows:

  On a new layer, (double layer 1) all photos are removed, but not their mounts.

  The frames are then filled with 100% black.

  All text blocks and page numbers must also be deleted.

  I realize I could have done this job easier if I put all the images on their own layer first, but unfortunately I do not have.

  And I don't do myself, script, so I was wondering if anyone has a script that will do...

  I use textframe to place images and text.

  WHN I put the text / images, by default, the images are aligned at the top of the text block, I need to put it at the bottom of the textframe.

• How to cut the big text in several small files of text file?

  Hi all

  I got a big text file.  Notepad could not open it.  I want to cut it into several small files-texts so that I can open and check it out.  I use "set the file position" and 'set the size of the file', but it still gives me the part of the start file.  I would like to, say, four small files, in the first quarter, the sencond quarter, in the third quarter and in the fourth quarter to each file.

  How? Seems very simple question. I miss...

  I use ADMN-> activities-> export to export my attrributes extented staging of the production environment and quality assurance, the attribute type is Qualitative, the style is unique select _Radio buttons. the text of the option button (stored in the table comextendedattributequalityml) cut during the export process. I checked the table of database production and QA, it can contain up to 500 characters. I tried 2 attributes, it has been cut to 103th characters, it has been cut to the 108th characters. This means that the first characters 103 or 108 have been copied to the table of produciton and QA in comextendedattributequalityml. Is it a bug or any configuration change, we can change the size of the export.

  Maybe it's a bug because of the value of table meta information does not not in the actual column size.

  The fix can be just a simple script that updates the maxlength field in the table metadata information and a restart of the application with container of distance communication.

• How and why to cut an Image?

  I export a Photoshop design in Dreamweaver. I know HOW to cut, but I'm having a hard time finding the reason WHY cut an import image in Dreamweaver. Why not simply import the entire image, as a single whole image?

  I also have difficulties in finding the best way to cut out a picture. This is very new for me. I looked at a Web page, I created there are almost 5 years (my first exposure to the design of web sites) and I cut out the top of the page in 3 images - I had two images of prominent on each side and in the middle in this context. Then I divided the central bar (with buttons) and each of the buttons made their slice/image.

  However, I just found a Web site where they finally have their design cut into three images - a logo, buttons and a picture of the top layer.

  My cutting looks like the picture of the opening under the heading "Killing the Clutter" of this Web site, not the image of closing (their goal) in the same section.

  Why are they singling out the logo? Should I do this with my design?

  Why are they including all buttons in a slice, instead of individual slices? Is this OK to do? For the purposes of the rollover image, I thought they had to be separated.

  They do not save the background. Should they be? Unless they you import the background as one large image.

  I appreciate those who could recommend not to slice an image and do stuff with code instead, but I don't have the knowledge to go that route and I have to cut the image.

  WHY is a question. The answer is that it DEPENDS. It depends on your layout. I've never understood why people would be divides a picture say 800px x 800px in 10 pictures just of have reconnected them on the web page as an entire image (taking into account that it has no buttons, links, hot spots, etc.). 10 seprate images means that the server must send 10 different applications in order to rebuild this image. I imagine that most people get caught up in slices because they aren't sure how to build a different Web site. Unless the image is huge, it is best to apply http for a picture of 10. If a page has tons of server must like that, which only slows down the loading of the page.

  They can do this to create an image map or reversal of their logo image. You certainly don't want to use an image 400px x 400px if your reactive rollover image is only x 100px 30px. Unless you use an image on a bearing replacement method, sometimes it is better to create a css div or a class that defines the area for the turnaround.

  What you trying to do? If you try only to scale an image to a new format, you don't need code so much. And you want to use a Matrix object to scale when you make a draw draw.

• Help with the line on the image final after using the magnetic lasso + layers

  I worked on an image that has some distortion of the lens in the.  I need to change the background and the subject separately because the colors are similar and there is simply too much work to do to try and spot heal the whole thing.  I cut out the subject with the lasso, magnetic, and created 2 separate the layers, a topic, a single background.  I then used the layers: adjustment layer: hue / saturation to correct the distortion.  When I did, I flattened the image.  Now I have a gray line on my final image where the lasso tool had cut the image apart.  I have no idea why it's there or how to get rid of.  It is very thin and probably not noticeable on smaller images, but I am determined to blow this up BIG picture where every mistake will be visible.  Any suggestions on how to avoid this line in the first place?  I don't think that I can remove it without going by one pixel.  Thank you!

  A better way to make your adjustments is to simply use the same mask and avoid creating separate layers:

  Here's the original:
  

  1. Select the "subject."
  2. Add a Hue/Saturation layer, which will be automatically hidden from the subject.
  3. Adjust the H/S in function.
  4. Duplicate this layer H/S.
  5. Select the mask of the H/S duplicate layer and press Ctrl + I, which will reverse the colors of mask (which means that the area of "background" will be affected).
  6. Adjust this new H/W layer in function.
  7. Your layers will look like this:

  No no cutting, no copy, etc. - the mask and its reversal will give a perfect edge.

• Cut the text from the image using the Pathfinder tool

  Hi all

  I'm cutting text from an image in Illustrator. I use the version on a Dell XPS 12 CS6.

  I have scoured the internet for instructions and have tried everything, but when I followed the same steps in Illustrator I don't get my desired result. I created the contours for the text, so that the image and text are on the same layer, grouped (and dissociated) and then I tried all the options in the pathfinder, nothing helps. I've done it before with an image, but for some reason can not get it to work this time.

  I even tried to make the image in a clipping mask, so it would be a 'form' instead of 'image', but that didn't do anything either.

  If anyone has any advice, I would greatly appreciate it that I spent hours trying to figure this out!

  Pathfinder will not work with a path and a picture.

  Instead, put your text above the image (it can be the living text), select both.

  You can then use the button do mask in the transparency to cut your text on the image palette.
