Cutting tool - save image with lowercase file extension?

I love the Snipping Tool but want small - I wish that he would save the file with an extension in lowercase, for example, 'png' rather than 'PNG '. Is it possible to do this?

(I use Vista Home Prem)

Delete the PNG and png type.

Try to download an update of the firmware with a file extension ROM Vista says it's an unrecognized file type. Patches?

You must get the update of the firmware that can handle the type of file the same place ROMA, you got the firmware file. From what I see, they seem specific to the product updated. http://www.FileInfo.com/extension/ROM if they don't have it, talk to their technical support staff and ask them what type of program is required to install the firmware provided in ROM format and where you can get it. Vista doesn't have the ability to read a file ROM type Some software must be added to give this capability.

Here is an article I read: "various hardware upgrades and emulators use the ROM file extension." A user needs a flash program usually available on the website of the manufacturer of the motherboard. The user must not flashing BIOS unless the user knows that he has the image of his mother. • Share > save in Lightroom and file extension

In Photoshop Mix, I open a file from Lightroom Mobile, change it, tap the share icon and then save it in Lightroom.

The file that comes into the Office with Lightroom is named ' new Composition 2015 - 12 - 06 20/10/11 '-IE without file extension.

If instead, I use to send to Photoshop, a file with a PSD is saved to CC and open in Photoshop.

Looks like a bug to me.

    John,

I followed your steps and got the same result. Could you send this question to feedback into application via Mix? You can do this by touching the Mix icon in the upper left corner of the application and then press on "give us your comments. (Or simply copy and paste your message to [email protected] ) This goes directly to the product of the team and can move things faster.

Thanks again to remind! Let me know if you need anything that anyone else.

  • Savings with tif file extensions

I work in publishing and convert hundreds of files jpg goals each month. In CS6 under Save as when I click format > tif, I lost the end of my file name. For example, Figure 8.7.jpg goes to Figure 8 tif >lose the last part of the file name.

When I have a large list of files to browse, I need the registration process to be as fast as possible without having to change the name of the file manually. Did someone knows why this is happening, it was beautiful on CS3!

    Thank you

Windows versions of photoshop do not have a preference to allow the addition of Extensions of files (adding file extensions)

because since windows requires file extensions, it's always photoshop windows versions.

All I can say is that I stay away from periods in file names other than for the extension of the file type, because it always seems to cause problems and not only in photoshop.

To be fair, but I tried a few different jpeg files named in the same pattern as your example in photoshop cs6 on a xp system and do not seem to have problems by saving the file as he was appointed to a tif (included periods).

  • Change with .htaccess file extensions?

I just changed an entire site from .htm to .php. All files have exactly the same name, I just changed the extension. Anyone know if there is a code to put in the htaccess file to redirect all files with the .htm extension to the .php extension?

I would settle for redirect all to the index.php page .htm files, but would really like to make it more convenient for the user in the long run.

    Thanks in advance!

    Jules

    I think this will do.

    RedirectMatch 301 (.*)\.htm$ $1.php

  • Update HTML files with nonstandard file extensions

I use DW8/Mac to update my company's Web site. Recently, we have decided to make the site multilingual. To this end, our web server has been redesigned with multiple views. All the .html files have been renamed to. HTML.en and others. HTML.es files have been created for the Spanish version. And here, I came across a series of problems:

    (1) DW8 does not recognize files with. HTML.en &. HTML.es extensions to HTML. I scoured the Internet and found a solution for this one - I edited the /Configuration/DocumentTypes/MMDocumentTypes.xml file in the installation of DW to include new file extensions: .fr & .es. They now appear correctly coded by color in the editor of DW. Yes, Jose is more a problem, unless the DW gurus could direct me towards a better solution.

    (2) the real problem is this. Since I changed the file extensions for HTML files, the files are up to date is no longer automatically once I modified a DreamWeaver template file. I rebuilt the site cache - did not help. I tried "Edit-> Templates-> update Pages... ', this does not work either.

I even tried to open a single page and make "Edit-> Templates-> apply a Page template", by checking the check against "Page updated when the template is changed" was present. Doing so change the page, but only once. Whenever I have change the model, this page does not change, because it is supposed to.

    Please advise!

I'm not sure that this will help the problem of model, though.

  • save images with transparent background

I cut an image in pscs6 and recorded on a transparent background and saved on my Finder in format giff. The image went to the ps, but opening my Finder it was slightly desaturated. I do not have the need to save transparent images that often so I'm not familiar with the technique. My client is looking for a 3 to 6 MB image for use in print. Cheers, bj

For printing, do not use the gif files. They are an obsolete format that supports a limited number of colors (255) + 1 color used for transparency.

PNG uses 256 colors red + 256 blue + green + 256 256 shades of gray for transparency.

As you can see png has many more colors and shades of transparency, which means a much smoother and softer image shadow brought to get an example of transparency.

Better yet is to save it as a tiff or psd, allowing a larger number of colors if necessary and support layers, layers alpha, transparency, the living text, paths, etc.

If it is set on a printer, then pdf may be the best solution.

In other words, you have many choices and the reasons not to use gif.

  • The difficulty to save images with CS2 since the upgrade to Windows 10.

Working in CS2 is substantially the same, but when I go to save my work as a .png as usual, the colors are shifted (looks a little more green, more precisely). Same thing happens with .jpgs. I'm not saving for the web, just do the same things, I'm always done before with the same color except all of a sudden, the colors, the profiles are saving all wobbly. Open one of these files in photoshop displays the correct colors, but sends the file or open it in the green version Windows Photo Viewer. What has changed?

    c390f043225d28f3bc40f01a71bf19c0.png

This is a screenshot showing the difference. Left is open in photoshop, the right is open in Photo Viewer (and is the same color as the image I sent via Skype to someone, proving that it is not just me).

There's a utlity calibration that comes with CS2. He called Adobe Gamma. Have you tried to run and make a fresh profile?

I start with an sRGB profile and when you are finished, I add the date to the it.

Then in Windows Color Management settings, not the default monitor profile. Gamma is still 2.2, point white is D6500

See if you get results.that best way.

  • How to find images with sidecar files

Screen Shot 2013-01-06 at 9.02.29 PM.pngI just noticed that I have some images, jpg and tiff, who seem to have the SIDECAR FILES on the display of metadata EXFIPTC.

These files have a lot of dates, some more than 20 years and shot on film and scanned on the nikon slide scanner. In fact, the images in question were EVER raw files...

I don't remember how I did it. I used LR early on and so I'm sure that at some point I checked the wrong box.

I can't find those who have sidecar files by performing a search, even using ANY plug-in FILTER (although I am not sure that I used it correctly).

I find these sidecar files? There may be some clues as to why they are there.

    Thank you

    Vince

I added a sentence pointing out that these files were raw file nevers.

When I wrote my answer your screenshot was not visible. Now that I see I agree that your question is about another kind of sidecar files.

When shooting Raw and JPG with your camera you have the option of

    (a) treat JPGs as separate photos.

    (b) treat as file for Raw files.

You specify this option in > Preferences > general tab.

When you select this option to process files Next To Raw files as separate JPEG JPEG Photos are imported as stand-alone photo. The raw and JPEG files are visible and editable in Lightroom.
If deselected, treated Lightroom JPEG doubles as a file and see the raw file and the raw + jpgfile extension.

PS: Your screenshot shows a jpg file. If this isn't an xmp file. This means that the photo of your screenshot must have been shot asa Raw + JPG file.
