CWMS users management

Hi all

Our customers want to integrate CUCM with CWMS only for the synchronization of users with CUCM but LDAP authentication is disabled. Y at - there any method to inform new users automatically when their account CWMS are created?  The feature 'Automatically send notification' is not found if LDAP authentication is disabled. Another question is whether new users are imported to CWMS via LDAP and LDAP authentication is disable, how should new users created their local password CWMS? Thank you!!

Danny

Hey Danny,

Unfortunately, we do not have a built-in feature in CWMS to send e-mail notifications to users newly imported from CUCM unless the LDAP authentication is enabled.

I tabled an improvement for this: CSCvb16166 any user of CUCM does not welcome if e-mail authentication LDAP disabled

The only solution is to warn end users to go to the URL of the WebEx Site, use you forgot your password link to have CWMS send them an email with password reset link.

  • ERROR: You don't have the right of user manage auditing.

I copied the files on my computer to work on a USB device using robocopy. When I try to use robocopy to copy these files the USB device on my computer at home I get the following error message; "ERROR: you do not have the right of user manage audit."

How can I get this error message and copy the files?
    Thank you

I'm glad that you were able to understand. Thanks for sharing your solution. In Windows Vista and Windows 7, even if your user account is an administrator (and this is not optimal, see why below), you still need to raise the true administrator to make global changes. In your case, that would by running high cmd ("run as Administrator").

User - recommended configuration (Vista and Win7) accounts

You absolutely don't want to have only one user account. As XP and all the other modern operating systems, Vista and Windows 7 are OS multi-user with system built-in accounts such as administrator, by default, all users and guest. These accounts should be left alone because they are part of the structure of the operating system.

In particular, you do not want account only one user with administrator privileges on Vista and Windows 7 because the administrator account integrated (normally only used in emergencies) is disabled by default. If you use as an administrator for your daily work, and this account is corrupt, things will be difficult. It is not impossible to activate the built-in administrator to rescue things, but it will take third-party tools and work outside the operating system.

The user account that is for your daily work must be a Standard user, with the extra administrative user (call it something like 'CompAdmin' or 'Tech' or similar) only it for elevation purposes. As a user Standard is recommended for security reasons and will help protect your computer against infections. After you have created "CompAdmin", connect to it and change your normal user account Standard. Then log on to your regular account.

If you want to go directly to the desktop and ignore the Welcome screen with the icons of the user accounts, you can do this:

Start Orb > Search box > type: netplwiz [Enter]
Click continue (or provide an administrator password) when you are prompted by UAC

Uncheck "users must enter a user name and password to use this computer". Select a user account to connect automatically by clicking on the account you want to highlight and press OK. Enter the password for this user account (when it exists) when you are prompted. Leave blank if there is no password (null). MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

Can someone help me? I just bought a new Cisco SRP527w and I'm all new to this type of material. I can't find the tab for user management that I'm changing the default password.

Also, I can't access the internet. My rj45 of the ADSL modem is connected to the WAN/LAN port with parameters IP static. What missed here? your help is very appreciated.

Hi Ronald, if you are clicking on all other tabs and it still seems only the setup of the wizard, you must change your internet browser. Try Firefox or IE. This should solve that.

  • user managed backup and deferred tax rollback segments

    Hi Forum,

    Greetings of the day,

Here I have a question about segments of rollback backup and deferred users managed, I don't have much experience with the user managed backups taken by backup of BEGIN and END.

    1. how facilities oracle using the database so that it is saved each tablespace, he will use deferred rollback segments?

    2. placing the tablespace in backup mode is the same as read-only mode, on a technical level. So that it can read the blocks and changes made by the user can be moved to deferred rollback segments and later applied to tablespace, when it is the backup of the END?

3.AFAIK, will be created only to deferred rollback segments in the SYSTEM tablespace. So we need to keep an eye on the growth of the tablesace SYSTEM while the database/tablespace is backed by this method?

    4. when the tablespace is put out of backup by using the backup of the END , will be that it applied by the deferred rollback segments?

    5. where oracle will place deferred rollback segments, when tablesapce SYSTEM itself is implemented backup START ?

    6. DON'T face us any kind of failures during all backup /END START as full tablespace etc SYSTEM.

    Your answers will really helpful.

    Thank you

    Uday

Here I have a question about segments of rollback backup and deferred users managed, I don't have much experience with the user managed backups taken by backup of BEGIN and END.

    1. how facilities oracle using the database so that it is saved each tablespace, he will use deferred rollback segments?

In what context you mention the use of rollback differed with the backup segments maintained by users?

    2. placing the tablespace in backup mode is the same as read-only mode, on a technical level. So that it can read the blocks and changes made by the user can be moved to deferred rollback segments and later applied to tablespace, when it is the backup of the END?

Do you mean to say that when the tablespace is backed up, it is not accessible to the DML? If so, this is a wrong concept. Oracle did not go for the rollback segment (which I do not know how you are linking anways), but maintains the writing the image in full blocks for the first time in the log files of recovery following the normal writing changed buffers.

3.AFAIK, will be created only to deferred rollback segments in the SYSTEM tablespace. So we need to keep an eye on the growth of the tablesace SYSTEM while the database/tablespace is backed by this method?

Response above asked about segment deferred cancellation and their relationship, according to you, with the backup tablespace?

    4. when the tablespace is put out of backup by using the backup of the END , will be that it applied by the deferred rollback segments?

    5. where oracle will place deferred rollback segments, when tablesapce SYSTEM itself is implemented backup START ?

    6. DON'T face us any kind of failures during all backup /END START as full tablespace etc SYSTEM.

Seems that you don't really have an idea how the backups managed by users actually work. I'll suggest that you read about it first in the backup and restore documentation before entering in any event.

  • OBPM user management

    Hello

I have a question about the book of OBPM user management. As you know, OBPM sophisticated task management capabilities.

All users are to be created in the WLS system? For authentication, we don't need to do it - the announcement link is configured. However, I don't know how we can approach the management of the users/tasks.

    Thank you and best regards.
    Anand.

    Hello

OBPM uses the underlying WebLogic Server authentication provider. Multiple authentication providers are supported: based on files, OID, AD, and so on. To define users/roles for OBPM management you must choose the authentication provider that will contain users/groups, configure the authentication provider WebLogic accordingly and possibly add your users and groups to the authentication provider. For example, see https://blogs.oracle.com/bpmbestpractice/entry/setting_up_active_directory_lightweight for an example.

  • The user managed backup hot via Sql

Hi being a little old school - I'm trying to understand the steps required for a Hotbackup managed through Sql (sorry fans RMAN!)

I understand that I can save each tablespace in turn (via the necessary ALTER TABLESPACE < x > BEGIN BACKUP and then out of backup)
I also assume that I simply take a backup of my control file (wither in binary form or trace if necessary)
I also assume that you do not back up the Redo Logs (since you reset draw on any recovery anyway)

The bit I'm not sure of is the Undo Tablespace - can be backup in eactly the same way as any other tablespaces?

Y at - it all components that I need backup (outside the archive logs)

  • Reconcile users management

    Hello

I am trying to reconcile users on OIM by using the 'trusted resource Reconciliation' of a Table of TB. My user table is as follows:

    Login |             Name |  LastName.  Organization | userType | Role |  Manager
    _____________________________________________________________________________________
dRight | Donald | Law | Xellerate users | For the end user. Full time | dRossi

I can balance the user, but the problem is when I was trying to reconcile the User Manager. I have data manager userLogin, but IOM seems to save the USR_KEY as the field Manager. How can I (automatically, during the reconciliation, since there are many users) associate the user with the Manager when I have the data preceding?

    Best regards
    Carole

For this card Manager in the recon trust to a custom udf and then a scheduled in IOM task that checks for all users created in IOM after last run and take their login manager custom field, get the Manager key and sets the key of the User Manager.
If you have a custom here recon so you can get prior Manager of IOM key, located in the plan and then move this card to createreconevent.

  • Users management strategy

    Hi all

I want to define a user management strategy for an application we build for one of our customers all over the world.

We will provide you with a single application where all the subsidiary companies will be allowed to:

. view folios that concern them

    . create new fact sheets

This second element points the following problem:

What type of account must be created to allow users to create folios, but NOT publish them?

We want to separate the functions of Directors, contribution and publication.

Admin is the administrator account (it's ok) but what about the contribution (i.e., folio and creation vs publication articles)?

    Thank you for all.

    Christophe

Unfortunately, the DPS has this level of access control. You cannot create an account that is authorized to create folios, but not publish them.

I found the menu "User" under CORE on the ADEP admin page (http://localhost:4502/libs/crx/core/content/welcome.html), but can not understand how to use

Also I can't find related documents.

    Where should I go?

What I want to do is the control of access by users.

    THX,

    K7

    Hi K7.

The user menu, that you have found is the right one for the management of users.

What you need to know, is that the core of the ADEP is composed of what was formerly called day CRX (which is consists of the JCR Content Repository, the Felix OSGi Runtime + canvas Web Framework), Data Services (formerly Adobe LiveCycle Data Services ES2) and the composite application framework (previously known as Adobe LiveCycle Mosaic ES2).

The user management is actually a function of content repository, and this is where the documentation for this function is currently still:

    http://dev.day.com/content/docs/en/CRX/current/administering/user_group_ac_admin.HTML#user % 20Administration

For all other documents focus on the CRX, it is a good place to start looking for stuff:

  • Available attribute schema ldap for the OAM User Manager

    Hi people,

I need view the attributes of ldap multi-value (no objectClass) schema in the OAM User Manager. Somehow, only a handful of attributes are visible. When I go in the Console System identity, User Configuration Manager, tabs, users, change attributes, the attribute that I need isn't on the list.

    Any help is appreciated.
    Thank you, novel

    Hi Roman,

Not quite, the method would be:

    1. create the new object defined by the user (such as auxiliary)
    2. only add additional attributes (besides the ones I see already) I need to display in the user for it to a schema Manager
    2.5 identity restart them
    3. in common Config OAM, add this object (hopefully)
4 Add attributes to control panel users

For step 1, I don't know how to create an auxiliary object class in the Sun Java Console (I'm not saying that this is not possible, it's just that I don't know the method). Another method is to create an objectclass to an ldif (which also gives you a permanent record of the objectclass) and you can use the files identity, oblix, data, common identity as a model for this server directory. For example, consider the file iPlanet_oblix_schema_add.ldif and look for the oblixorgperson entrance, which looks like:

    DN: cn = schema
    ChangeType: modify
    Add: identifiers
identifiers: (1.3.6.1.4.1.3831.0.1.13 NAME 'oblixorgperson' DESC 'Oracle Access Manager defined objectclass' SUP top AUXILIARY MAY (obuiconfig $ oblocationdn $ obrectangle $ obpsftid $ obdirectreports $ obindirectmanager $ obuseraccountcontrol $ obobjectclass $ obver $ oboutofofficeindicator))

You can create your own auxiliary objectclass use this as a template.

    Hope it makes sense.
