damask border

I am a user of Photoshop and InDesign to try to teach myself Illustrator. I watched the tutorials Adobe and became familiar with the basic tools, Illustrator offers, but I'm still at the beginning of my learning.

My first project is to design some "gold damask border" in the style of a thousand and one nights. Here is a picture of this kind of look that I'm going to shoot...

Experienced designers have tips that they can afford on the tutorials should I Explorer? Or tools that you know that I need to become skilled at creating something like that?

And ideas are welcome!

So what will be useful is all kinds of construction methods: Panel pathfinder, live painting, shapebuilder tool, router tool.

Also: The features of Variable width

Use the power of the shots at drawing: you can convert forms later and you get two parallel lines.

And then, to get the design into a stretchy border: brushes of mires

You will find all the key words in the documentation.

  • How can I fix the color washed out for border to start in Firefox (vs Chrome)?

I created a web page with a very basic table and border-style: first. Attached picture shows three colors ('red', ' #2CC11F ' and ' #22A8D6 ') of this table, and how they appear on the Chrome vs. Firefox (right) (left).

The image is a screenshot taken with Firefox and Chrome on the same monitor.

I tried all combinations of the elements listed in the link here: (http://cameratico.com/guides/firefox-color-management/) and restarted Firefox, every time, but I can't quite simply that it displays only not this border of immediately without looking terrible and washed out.

A solid border seems okay, if it has to do with the borders of departure specifically (and possibly on the tables specifically).

So the problem is that Firefox is to choose shades that are too light compared to Chrome?

I think that you will need to take direct control of the colors of different sides using borders United. For example:

  • How to reduce the firefox window border

I'm trying to get rid of the "border" above the line of tabs in Firefox 36.0 in white.
I wish that each tab to extend completely to the top of the screen so that when I push my mouse upwards and the screen limits the cursor to move more, he places the cursor on one of the tabs. For now, this puts the cursor over this border, so I then slightly down the mouse to click on the tab. Who is?
I guess an easy css line that I can add to my Chrome folder exists, but I'm not smart enough to know what it is.
I'm guessing that this border is a part of the line of tabs, otherwise, it can be the window border.

Basically, I would like to get the line of tabs in Firefox to be more like Chrome, it's the height of the button red X Windows (minimum space).

You can try to use a negative top-margin for the #TabsToolbar value in the userChrome.css file
I'm not on Windows, so it is impossible to check what value works.

    userChrome.css:

    @namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */

    #TabsToolbar { margin-top: -2px !important; }

The file userChrome.css (UI) customization and userContent.css (Web sites) are located in the folder of chrome in the Firefox profile folder.

  • Firefox window has a border bottom thick when it should be thin or missing

I have the latest version of Firefox, and for a while, the lower edge of the window was too thick. Here is a screenshot of the thickness of the border is:
    "< a href ="http://s232.photobucket.com/user/MarkDali/media/Work%20Portfolio/Firefoxborder.jpg.html"target ="_blank">< /a >"

This screenshot is from when the window is not maximized. When it is, the border is thin, but not completely hidden as it should be. Y at - it all the parameters it would cause? I have several modules and extensions, but not sure if they would cause the extra width.

Anyone have any suggestions on the best way to fix it? Thank you!

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe
  • text of space reserved and box-sizing: border-box

    Hey guys,.

    I'm on a mac (10.9.3) under FireFox 30.

I have the old * {box-sizing: border-box ;} thing put in place on my page.} In doing so, my input placeholder text appears, but not in Chrome and Safari.

When I replace the box numbers on the input to the content box, the placeholder text is displayed.

I probably wouldn't share the url, but here, you're going to: http://bluescape.jacobdubail.com/ click on search in the nav link to view the entry.

    Thank you
    Jacob

This entry has a rule of departure of height: 0px.

When you click the search button, the height remains at zero with box -: border to resize-box but becomes 20px with box-sizing: content-box.

Is it because zero height is not allowed with content-box or because the script does something different in the two cases? Hmm...

  • How to remove the red border in dotted lines around links?

On several sites (Facebook, Twitter, Hootsuite, etc.), any link is bounded by a dashed red border. I don't know if inadvertently, I changed a setting, but it has never been like this before and I can't understand how to disable projection dotted border.

    Any help?

What is a characteristic of one of your add-ons? You could test mode without failure of Firefox? It is a standard diagnostic tool in order to avoid interference by extensions (and some custom settings). More info: questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode.

You can restart Firefox in Mode safe help

Help > restart with disabled modules

In the dialog box, click on 'Start mode safe' (not Reset)

    Any difference?

  • Mysterious black border (only) at the bottom of the first screen iPhone

I have an iOS application that I wrote in 2011, and I'm trying to upgrade to the latest iOS and devices.  I have a thick black border at the bottom of the first screen of my request, for most combinations Device/Simulator and iOS. This is * not * a black border at the top and at the bottom of the screen problem, who has been treated exhaustively in the forums.

There is only a single black border at the bottom of the screen. Also, the border is only broadcast on the first screen of my request, that has buttons to go to the rest of the application. Even if I navigate to the first screen of my request, somewhere inside the application, the border becomes visible. There is no black border in the other forms in the application, apart from the first screen.

It is * not * seems to be a launch image problem. I have a picture of launch, [email protected], and the launch image works fine. Here are the setups I get or don't get the black border:

iPhone 4S (iOS 9.2) Simulator - without black border

iPhone 5 (iOS 9.2) simulator - black border

iPhone 5 (iOS 8.1.3) device - without black border

iPhone (iOS 9.2) 5s simulator - black border

    iPhone 5 s (iOS 9.1) peripheral border - black

iPhone 6 sec more (iOS 9.2) Simulator - black border

iPad 2 (iOS 9.2) Simulator - without black border

iPad (iOS 9.2) air Simulator - no black border

iPad 2 Air (iOS 9.2) Simulator - without black border

Pro Simulator (iOS 9.2) iPad - thick black border all around the application window

retina Simulator (iOS 9.2) iPad - without black border (at the bottom of the screen)

I tried everything I could think of, but nothing seems to work.

  • Qosmio F60 - remove graphic border around the photo webcam frame

I recently purchased a Qosmio F60 laptop and when initially put in place / test the webcam to use on Skype, I chose rather stupidly a graphical border for all about the image frame of the webcam with a lot of yellow stars.

This ends up blocking much of the image of the webcam on Skype, which is very annoying, but I can't seem to find a way to get rid of it. I'm sure it's a very simple option somewhere in the webcam settings to stop, but any help would be appreciated before he drives me crazy!

    Thank you

Start the web camera application and you will find option effect. Open it and go to the second tab called Frame.
Then click OFF and I guess that the problem will be solved.
