• Four cameras to inspect the label presence / Date / batch Code

  Hello

  We intend to use four color cameras (more probably Firewire) to inspect the right label presence (attached image), Date / batch Code (most likely a match and no OCR/OCV), liquid level and presence of Cap. The speed of the conveyor is 240 bottles per minute (ongoing). As the bottles are rotating, there is no fixed orientation of the label. Thus, we intend to capture 4 frames on each trigger, to assemble and to inspect for a suitable Date and batch number, correct label, liquid level and correct the blockage. Good level of liquid is always above the label, so it shouldn't be a problem.

  We need a software / hardware recommendations for the cost of work effectively. For example, can VBAI as well as NI EVS-1464RT work for this application, or do we need to Labview and the Vision Development Module? We have the best price / performance for this application.

  Any comments / suggestion should be highly appreciated.

  VBAI does not include the steps to assemble the images, I suggest you LabVIEW and the Vision Development Module development.  If you want to use the EVS-1464RT, you will also need a copy of LabVIEW RT.  Note: the Vision Development Module can be purchase as a bundle with LabVIEW RT, see http://sine.ni.com/nips/cds/view/p/lang/en/nid/207699.

  Another way to achieve your goal of a 360 degree view of the bottle would be to use a lens Opto pericentrique Engineering, see http://www.opto-engineering.com/pericentric-lenses.html.  This would allow you to use a camera.

• Using the data to merge to envelopes, but need space to close to 1 address line

  I created a data document merged for the return address envelopes.

  Problem is, some in the source of the address data have 1 line address and some have 2 lines.

  I put the InDesign Document for both lines, but when an address has only 1 line, there is just a black space where the second line of the address would have shown there was data to greet him.

  Is there anyway to make this space close automatically, when no address line 2 is available?

  In the Options of investment content dialog box, there is a check box to remove blank lines for empty fields.

There is setup with the microsoft account.  Then created another account to microsoft and I don't need another, but both are run separately on my laptop.  And data, skydrive, e-mail are separated by Microsoft account.  Don't need thre original Microsoft account by I want all data under this one and access the skydrive created in one.

  I received a new requirement (PoC) of my client. They need a report from data EN Oracle Fusion. I did the set up Financial Reporting Center to Oracle merger (to set the name of the cluster essbase). After that I gave permission to access the report pointing out in even in Financial Centre...

  Got the solution and my report work. Should remove the old EN and download new software EN in Oracle Fusion itself. Here are the steps

  1 uninstall studio "go to all programs--> Oracle--> Financial Reporting Studio--> uninstall Financial Reporting Studio ' financial information

  2 restart the client computer

  3. navigate to the catalog of BI

  4. click on Tools--> Install--> Studio of Financial Reporting (before download, please remove all the old version of Financial Reporting Studio.exe)

  5. Save on the local computer

  6. go to the download location, right click on the Financial Reporting Studio.exe

  7 run as administrator (it is, not double-click or open)

  9 restart the client computer (to avoid problems)

  10 go in the catalog of the BI

  11. click on tools--> launch of Studio Reporting financial

• Date of merger troubleshooting

  I use data merge to create a directory of companies from an excel worksheet. Everything just works great, except for one problem: one of the data fields will appear in the merged document as a placeholder < < manager > > instead of the data from the linked file. When I preview the files, all the names appear, but as soon as I create a merged document, the placeholder is displayed instead. I use a tab delimited file and the data set appears where it is supposed to be more.

  How can I fix?

  The 6.0.4 update is supposed to have fixed some issues with the data merge, but was not, as far as I know, 100% success.

  Try opeing the data file in a text editor such as Notepad and search for strange characters, which should be deleted. Even if you do not, do a save as to overwrite the file, and then try again.

  If it still does not respond, the best option, in my opinion, is to make the merge in CS3.

• How can I generate a data merge that includes a barcode in excel spreadsheet for InDesign?

  We need to create a data merge that includes a barcode. The fusion of data concerns several thousand records.

  We have a customer supplied Excel spreadsheet that contains seven fields, which is a number which ultimately must print a barcode when we do the data to merge in InDesign.

  As you expected, the classic six data fields merge perfectly - but we can't find a way to make the code barcode printed properly within the data merge.

  We looked at several possible solutions without success.

  Some of the solutions suggest a plug-in for Excel convert the number to a code bar while still in the spreadsheet - but this does not come across properly when import us the CSV file in the InDesign data merge.

  We studied some third party software applications, but neither gives the complete solution that we need. Some, for example, seem to create the bar code in the Excel worksheet but do not produce the barcode correctly when us data merge in InDesign; and some we will create a unique bar code in InDesign, but have no automated way to recover thousands of numbers in Excel and turn them into bar codes.

  We have you met also possible solutions "police" but have had no success with these either.

  Previous employment, only to produce us entrusted to a specialist mailing company, who assured us that they have produced all the work (very quickly) in InDesign. They, understandably, don't tell us how they did it. But, given the speed with which they have produced work for us, we imagine - with the correct software - the whole process is easy to do.

• Is it possible to link to the .doc files as I would image help to merge the data from the files?

  I'm trying to find a way where I can link to multiple documents in a master document. I know how to put Word/Excel files in InDesign-related, but is there a way I could build a document using data merge? I guess I want a link to every document in my CSV, possibly with a @ column header. Has anyone tried this before with any success?

  I have trouble understanding exactly what it is you want to try and do.

  Regarding the data merge, the answer is no. When a header field which has a "@" before the domain name, InDesign data merge function will import images that are people like .jpg, .tif, .eps .gif .pdf .png .ai; but will not import content such as .docx .doc .rtf or .txt. It is worth noting the help that Adobe (InDesign help |) Data merge) does not list what types of images will import as part of a data merge. Another additional note - if import a PDF or AI is many pages long as part of the merger of data, the merger will take only the first page of the PDF / I, and it is not a way to make the merger import a different page.

• Flash builder 4.6 - send batch data to the server (php connected)

  Hi, I recently downloaded flashbuilder 4.6 and started developing my first mobile application.

  Just to explain the meaning of my problem/question, I want to manage a local database offline (insert data into a table) and manually sincronize a database server (push a button-> add batch of documents to the Server table).

  Suite of tutorials, I was able to manage a local database sqlite, I had the connection to the database server (mySQL) with php and have populated Data/Services Panel (services test works very well).

  Unfortunately I'm not able to send local data, batch to the server. A few lines of code below (debug I got no error and no results).

  Something wrong in the code?

  Or did I take a wrong way to solve my problem?

  I have successfully used the merging of data for

  throw or placed tmy text - placeholders on the master page, then geretated pages. Now, do report anotehr, I wanted to use

  the old man a tempalte and just change that data - no matter WHA tI - I get the error

  Which is not true - because the dat merger panel shows all the field names in the CSV file - and I get this error as soon as I place a single field - on the master - check the preview area and the error message coems. I tried placoing on the page of document but no difference.

  My solution was ot find a last tiem form Gall who did not have the dat a fusion inside and to use - however - I ran out of old files with no dat a merger. It almost seems as if once that you do a fusion of data in the file, even if not saved, it somehow it keeps and dwells on.

  I have treid registering as an inx and do in CS3 - but got the same error.

  I went on all loose on the page, one by one - using the story editor to see if there was soemthing bad in the file - found nothing

  Sorry, you're right... it's a variable.

  As near as I can tell, the document is damaged, but it seems that if it can be saved. Make a new A4 doc and rename A template z then it won't replace your master when you bring.

  Now put the two visible documents at the same time and select all of the master pages in the original and drag them from the Pages panel and drop them on the new RFSO. Select document pages, then do the same thing, adding them after page 1. Page 1 to remove and reset the numbering.

• In the new synchronization is the option "overwrite local/remote data" driveway?

  I noticed that I can't decide if the synchronization must be connected server to the client, the client to the server or two-way. And I know it was an option (a must) with the previous version of synchronization (if I remember correctly 3 choices were available: download, upload and bidirectional). He is really gone? Maybe I just can't find it...

  If it is gone I guess this means that with the new synchronization, both sets of data are merged with no other option. If this is the case it is terrible news, as in the case of data 'settings' and even ' subject: config changes ", there is no way to merge this type of often contradictory data. And I certainly don't want to make a mess on my favorites that are mostly the same but a lot differently arranged, etc. renamed the 2 computers. A merger will duplicate more and replant those I had thrown and do not want. 'Data passwords' will also be a mess, "modules data" will be easy to fix manually.

  My setup is on computer A, I did a new install of Firefox with new settings, modules, bookmarks, passwords, etc... What I want is to synchronize computer B to this same account without it downloading THE data on the server synchronization. As I used to be able to do with the previous synchronization.

  If there is no way to do that I will have more than just delete my entire firefox profile on computer B (rmdir home/user/.mozilla), so I contaminate with stale data synchronization server. I want to avoid that, as it's a pain. There are a large number of settings, that I'll have to manually reconfigure as they are not synchronized among other reasons.

  If it is indeed gone, may I ask why the choice of any feature? Was it too bug?

  The user interface is not here now.

  The simplest thing to do: open the new profile, delete bookmarks stocks, clear the history you want to get rid of and remove saved passwords. If you want to also sync prefs and want to be completely sure that they are clear, remove the directory of the profile prefs.js.

  Voila: a wiping profile.

  Delete the contents of the directory of profile may or may not work; I do not recommend try you it.

  The above post describes pretty much exactly what I want to do, but I'm missing something-

  Here's what I would do: I have some customer information I want to merge to an email; the information is not something I necessarily want to hold with my contacts.

  We use Excel to download the lists, because these contacts are not currently in our database. I created a new fusion of field and inserted the fusion in my email. The creation of the merger of field requires linking the merger with Contacts, accounts, events/event Sessions or CDO. My initial assumption was that I would need to create a CDO, I did. So I created from the merger of field, connected to my CDO and inserted the field in the email.

  When I then test the email, I download my segment of the tests. I can't match the data fields to match the fields, additional Excel in fields in Eloqua - I thought that maybe the CDO fields appear as options for matching.

  So, my question is, how do I get data to Excel at the height of my merge field in Eloqua?

  Here is the result:

  You cannot perform a merge via download Excel (IE - trying to create a new segment via upload that contains the data to merge) - I was on the right track, that this should be done through CDO.

  1. create your CDO, upload your Excel file and map on the data card contacts

  -Create a new CDO, adding additional fields that you want to capture

  -Specify 'E-mail address' in the full name, the Unique ID and the email address fields. I also set the Group By field to the E-mail address and the type of entity as Contacts with new Email Address field.

  -When you transfer your Excel file with records to merge, be sure to map downloaded from the data card contacts (custom object > download custom object records). In the wizard in step 4 - resulting Actions to download, make sure that the card data card check box is selected. Real do not know why you ever not wanted - it seems to me that you can't do much without it.

  2. create your field field Email merges mergers

  -map to your CDO fields

  3. Insert the field merges in your email

  That of about it - if anyone has any additional info or corrections on the above, let me know. Hope this helps-

  due to the huge amount of data, the merge statement has faced every time that it runs, it consumes a lot of time (hours) to run. Is it possible to rewrite above fusion sql in a sql statement using outer joins? I tried a few approaches, but none seems to be practical. Please shed some light on the question, if you find a way more right to do the same thing.

  Without any code and actual tables, all I can do is to guess:

  But I don't know if there are keys duplicated on other tables.  If there is, you will get the unstable set of lines error.
