  While loading data using FDM, we use the option "replace". As expected, the existing data in the period in question, and all accounts are deleted before the new data file is loaded.
  
  We also observed that the data in another version is deleted due to this option. What is a standard behavior? If not, kindly tell me a way to prevent the deletion of data in other versions.

  What is "replaced" in Essbase is determined by the cleardata control in the action of the LOAD of the Essbase adapter. Fixed default cleardata control on the scenario and the entities that are part of the load and will erase data for the period/periods being loaded, if you want a more targeted replace, update the cleardata statement in the script to load.

  You can also use the database link:

  select * from dev1.emp@orcl;
  

  What database are you connected to?
  You must create and use the links in the database for all other databases.

  For example if you are connected to the database A and to retrieve data from database B, you must create a connection of database in base B

  create database link B connect to  identified by  using 'B';
  

  Then you can retrieve data from database B with

  select * from [yourschema.]yourtable@B;
  

  This will work only for tables that are visible to the user that you used in the definition of database link.

  Both persistent store and files SD Card connection will do what you want to do, but not for free, you have to deal with yourself.  As an example of implementation, in the persistent store, you can establish a relationship of object with references to the data included, alternatively on SD card, I suspect that the best way is to have several files and use a 'link' as a mechanism similar to the link between the html files.

  So whatever it is, you have to do, it is which of these options you want to choose.

  That decision will depend mainly on the size of the data allowing you to manage, and to a lesser extent, the performance you need.  Older data must go on SD card, but this will slow down the performance.

  This is a case of common use for web applications:

  User open A (i.e. a jsf page) of a web application, keep open for a period of time and do some browsing or editing on this page.

  We are trying to use SQL Developer to export data from an Oracle database and import it into another. The function 'Copy of database' looks like it works pretty well, but unfortunately to halfway through the transfer, we get a lot of these errors:

• Moving data between 1 database to another... need advice

  currently I am working on an idea how to do the foowing. I have a vision in a database (allows A database call it) and I'm going on another data base (database B) via batabase link.
  
  In this view, there is a table which gets inserted statements every day.
  
  Do I have to do is there new statement inserted whenever I take this statement and insert it into another table whithin database B.
  
  I was wondering how I can know there is another written statement... How do I know which statement was already inserted and which was not (maybe this can be resolved by checking the date)?

  You can check by using your database B, a materialized view. This will take care of automatic copying A database data to database B.

  This copying process is called a refresh. There are different methods of updating. The slower one being a complete refresh - copies all the data through each time.

  A quick refreshment needs a "transaction log" on the database A, allowing B data to determine what changes he does not have and only apply those changes to the materialized on the B database view. This newspaper is called a materialized view log and must be created on A database.

  If you have the Mavericks.app installed on your Mac or an external drive connected, the App Store is picking up.

  If you disconnect the external or move the copy of the application to a USB etc., eject.

  Relaunch the App Store and see if you can now download Mavericks from the pga of purchases.

  You can also set the date and time manually on your mac, uncheck the set the Date and time automatically

  Choose a date as February 2, 2016. You should be able to install your earlier copy of Mavericks.

  I created an application datalogging, but I had no joy at all try to write data in a database.

  The small attached vi creates a database in c:\DBase\ and then you can write the data into it. I get no errors at all from this code, but the database remains empty.

  I use 10 64-bit, LabView Pro 2016 32-bit Windows and now 2016 SQL Server 32-bit. I tried several versions of SQL server, the server is running and is configured ok.

  If anyone can spot a mistake in my application or can confirm this works ok on another version of LAbview or SQL would help greatly.

  Hello Cinna,

  You found since the OEM copy of Windows cannot be transferred to another computer, and, unfortunately, there is no work around either.

  If you are going to build your own PC, then I suggest a full commercial copy (not an upgrade) of the operating system rather than an OEM. At least, with a retail copy it can be transferred to a new machine providing that you remove the copy from the old machine.

  Although, when I buy a new PC, the machine is supplied with a copy OEM I always buy a commercial copy to allow me to move the operating system to a new computer should all arrive at the older one. Plenty of retail copies are more expensive, but worth the extra expense, especially if, like me, you're updating your computer regularly.
