store data when no database

Hello

I have a problem on the data store when there is no database.

first of all, I will write a file (not as a single file)

Secondly, there are a few pages in this file

Thirdly, there is some content in each page

I'll look at all of the files that I want to but I don't know how to store data and use of these data.

Thank you.

Both persistent store and files SD Card connection will do what you want to do, but not for free, you have to deal with yourself.  As an example of implementation, in the persistent store, you can establish a relationship of object with references to the data included, alternatively on SD card, I suspect that the best way is to have several files and use a 'link' as a mechanism similar to the link between the html files.

So whatever it is, you have to do, it is which of these options you want to choose.

That decision will depend mainly on the size of the data allowing you to manage, and to a lesser extent, the performance you need.  Older data must go on SD card, but this will slow down the performance.

  • Ability to store data when thin provisioned

    Hi all

VSphere 4.1 running in a cluster of two hosts, this cluster uses a Dell Equalogic PS4000 SAN for storage.

Confusion I have is with thin configured data stores and my Exchange Server (2010) - running on MS Server 2008 R2 Ent.

Exchange server uses three data warehouses on the San, one for the OS, one for data and one for newspapers.

The data of databases store is the one that gives me problems, it has been defined as thin provisioned 750 GB, when I look on the SAN & via VCenter he said 90% full until she went to 100% after the SAN sent several alerts - the virtual machine then crashed with out-of-space error.

To cut a long story short, I have twol questions

    (1) in this case why the SAN & VMWare say the data store is full, BUT when I connect to the virtual Windows computer it was about 50% in use?

    (2) when the data store that contains the databases filled I don't understand Exchange has fallen more but why why the crash of the VM?  The OS data store still had plenty of free space.

I got this error by increasing the space of 100 GB to 850 GB data store while the virtual machine is very well (even if Windows was complaining to a stop suddenly unexpected).

Thanks in advance for your help.

    K

And without perspective, as it was put in service end and touch 750 GB, 300 GB, then was removed, it would not 750Go because it may not decrease in size - is that correct?

(This would answer why the SAN says he uses 750Go of 750 GB, but Windows thinks there ish 300 GB free).

Yes, that's correct... the recovery of unused/dead/removed space don't is not automatically made.

  • Why the data in my database disappears when I restart Tomcat?

I have a DPL Berkeley DB database that I use for a Web application that is running under Tomcat. I can store data in the database and get it back, but when I restart Tomcat and the data have gone. In my view, that the problem is that the data is in memory, it is never written to disk, so it is not persistent across reboots. I think that this, because when I write the data to the database, the size of the files in the data files does not change.

My database is not transactional, nor in writeback mode.

What else could cause this problem? I'm completely stumped.

If the environment/store is not transactional (you do not call setTransactional (true)), then the data can be sustainable only equal to 1) you call Environment.sync, 2) a control point is executed by the thread of checkpointer I background or your application, 3) you close the environment itself, that will make a control point.

I suspect that you do not close the environment when you shut down your server.

You can take a look at the writing transactional Applications. He described the durability more in detail.

  • How to store data instead of memoryengine to the database when using XML file

    Hi Experts,

I doubt that in XML for transferring data from the database.
Transfer of data from XML to the database tables will be store in memory for xml files, my goal is instead stored in the memory table engine
is it possible to store the data in the database itself...
I guess that when the size of the data increases say for example given huge amount, store as much data is the big issue here on the right, so to avoid this, is it possible to store
These data directly in the database level.

Please understand my requirement, either I have the explanation regarding my requirement and please help me how to do this job...

    THX,
    Sara.

Remove the dp_doc = option Y of your url. It removes the schema whenever a new connection is created.
If you don't want to truncate the tables, I think you should also add the option dp_tbl = N.

    Kind regards

After you install Adobe Flash 14.0.0.0.25 when I go to a site that wants to store data locally, I am presented with a dialog box that gives me options: allow, deny, specify the isite. However, no matter what I click nothing happens. It's almost as if Firefox is not 'see' the click. I went into settings Adobe manage and added that the site as being approved, but it did nothing...

Best is to allow a Flash local storage in the world and use the default values.

When I try to use the Windows Update link for my XP computer and after using Windows Mr. Fix - It, I get a message indicating that the location where the Windows Update stores data has changed and must be repaired. How can I solve this problem?

I'm not that computer literate and do not understand what needs to be fixed.

This problem just started a few weeks when I noticed that I had any recent download automatic update that I regularly get. So I tried to do it manually through access via my control panel.

I use ESET Antivirus Node32 software.

    Hello

    1. What is the error message or an exact error code?

2 have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

    3. you try to check the updates?

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

Reset Windows Update components and then try to download the updates.

To be more precise, you can query

    Select to_char (ACTION_TIME,'MON-DD-YYYY ""), the SUBMISSIONS in ACTION, ID, VERSION, BUNDLE_SERIES, of DBA_REGISTRY_HISTORY where ACTION = 'upgrade ';

    Example:

    SQL > select to_char (ACTION_TIME,'MON-DD-YYYY ""), the SUBMISSIONS in ACTION, ID, VERSION, BUNDLE_SERIES, of DBA_REGISTRY_HISTORY where action = 'upgrade ';

  • put the offline data file when the database is in NOARCHIVELOG mode

My question is when the database is in log mode Archive No. I am not able to take the database offline.

When I tried in my computer I noticed set-aside.

    CASES1:

    SYS > alter database datafile 5 offline;

    ERROR at line 1;

ORA-01145: offline immediately rejected at least media recovery enabled.

    case 2:

    SYS > alter database datafile 5 immediate offline;

    ERROR at line 1;

ORA - 00933:SQL not correctly completed order

    CASE3:

I tried the command drop alter database datafile offline 6; (in NOARCHIVELOG mode) and it is to show the same effect that alter database datafile offline 6; (in ARCHIVELOG mode).

    * In NOARCHIVELOG mode are we really drop the data file to use the offline data file? You please tell me the effect of the dropkeyword.

Oracle protects you. Please review ARCHIVELOG and NOARCHIVELOG mode.

When you take the database offline in NOARCHIVELOG mode:

    (1) the file is offline

    (2) the RCS in which you took the database offline will be is more to be in the online redo logs

    (3) at this point, you need to perform a media recovery to enable again the file online (ie. restore the database)

So you can see why you shouldn't do that.

The DROP Offline command does not actually remove the data file. It removes the control file file details and updates the offline data file. It can be used for purposes of recovery or when you actually plan on deleting data files.

The Xpath expression includes the "imp1:" tag to reference namespace. I tested this XSL and it did not work. However, on the removal of namespace ' imp1: ' the XPath, XSL works fine and I am able to insert into the database. "" Any appropriate driver "does not appear in the newspaper, but all lines of XML are inserted into the database.

Heidi - do you think it is a bug?

  • When the Profile Manager stores data profiles created?

I have several profiles of Firefox that I created with the Profile Manager, but I find no where the Profile Manager stores data for profiles created because even if I delete all the firefox location of C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Mozilla user data files and all the data in the registry though Firefox I start the Profile Manager still lists all created profiles.

Then, where the data for profiles created is stored?

Hello, these data are stored in subfolders of \Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming- profiles - where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data

  • Error in inserting data to the database

I use SQL to store the data when I'm insterting the data in my table and then I get the error 2147217833.

The image that is attached to the table structure and PROCESS as I am recording insterting. I use LV2011.

I am able to connect to the database but error by inserting

Soved. UerId 5 and I've been insterting 6.

  • Send form data to the database with scripted button

I know not how to connect the form to an Access database. However, I do not want the form to connect to the database until the user clicks a button. When the user completes the form and clicks the button, I need the form to connect to the database and save form data in a new record. How script button to do this?

    Any help is appreciated.

I think that you will need to use a layer between the two.  For example, LC, you can do a process that takes your data and stores it in your database.  Your form may submit to this process through SOAP and REST.

  • Store data related issues.

    Hello

I am new to ODI. I have a couple of store data related issues. In fact, I am facing some problems, so I would like to have clarification.

    1. I imported the definition of a database table in a model. Later, I added a few columns to the database table. However, after having overthrown the model the new columns did not appear as a column in the data store. When I click on view the data, I could see the new columns. I expect that the new columns should have been displayed in the model tree.

    2. the key constraints have been defined in the database schema before reversing the model. However, these do not appear in the model. However, primary key constraints are listed.
2A. I manually created the FK constraints in the model. On the definition tab, I gave the same name as it appears on the database. Also, I chose the type of the constraint as a reference database. And I checked activate on the database check box. These three steps are correct? The columns tab was completed as one might expect.

These questions really (1 and 2), or am I missing a step? If I miss the point 2, to create the FK constraints manually, are my steps like 2 correct?

    I use ODI 10.1.3.5 and Oracle 11 g 2.

    Thanks in advance,

    Maury.

Yes. You can install ODI 11 g at the same time at ODI 10 g.

  • store data in the backend with flash and AS3

    Hi friends,

Greetings! Actually iam in applying for e-Learning, by reading our screen flash, student has to send their comments to the instructor, it will store in the database and read the same screen. If I use post it navigates to another screen aspx, it will last the student where they read. pls advice me... how can do this? is it possible to store data in db direct back-end... ?

    Thanks in advance...

    Kind regards

    Syed

You can use the onunload method of javascript to detect when users close this window and you can use the class externalinterface actionscript for communication between javascript and actionscript.

  • Insertion and extraction of data from a database by USING SQL Developer al32UTF8

    Hi guys,.

Before I post my questions, I think it's better for me to give you guys my first understandings so that it is easier to understand where / if I have gone wrong...

I use Windows XP and Oracle 10 g
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Non-unicode client - a client program that needs to use the code page of the operating system for the mapping of unicode data retrieved from the database as well as the support to display/insert characters from the code page to the database.
    For example sqlplusw.exe

Therefore, when you use a non-unicode client

    (1) we define the code page of the OS (Control Panel - regional and language of the parameter - advance - the language for non-unicode programs) to the code page that contain the characters that we will view/insert.

    (2) we also defined the NLS_LANG characterset on the character set of code page, that we'll insert so that when we do an insert (for example in thai), oracle will and automatic conversion to Unicode can take place. This is also true when recover us the database unicode data so that the correct character set conversion can take place.

    INSERTION OF
    THAI->-> UNICODE conversion

    RECOVERY OF
    THAI <-conversion <-UNICODE

I hope that my basic understanding is correct up to this point.
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Unicode client - a client program that supports display/inserting unicode characters without the need to set the code page of the operating system (Control Panel - regional and language setting - control - language for non-unicode programs advance)
For example isqlplus http or SQL Developer

    However,.

    (1) there are still set the NLS_LANG so that the correct conversion can take place between the client and the database.
For example, when the recovery if we set NLS_LANG value ZHS16GBK (Chinese) character and store data in Unicode in the database is for example (THAI), then the conversion would be a mistake.
It's a supported unicode client, then the NLS_LANG character set should be set to UNICODE as well.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Those are my questions
    * Important - please help if you're busy and don't have the time to answer the remaining questions

(* Q1) if I had to use a unicode client, what should I put my character NLS_LANG set?
    AMERICAN_AMERICA. UTF8?

(* T2) where can I put the NLS_LANG information of character in SQL Developer, I know there is a metalink for setting NLS_LANG using isqlplus but I cant seem to google each led for SQL developer.

Q3) is my basic understanding of up to this point? If no, please explain in a term more widespread that I'm really not familiar with character sets code page, unicode and fonts, glyphs...

A unicode client (Q4) didn't need to refer to the OS codepage (regional and language updates), y at - it a code page UNICODE for the customer to refer to, or is there an available window API?

    Q5)
, there are still set the NLS_LANG so that the correct conversion can take place between the customer and the > > database.
For example, when recovery if we set NLS_LANG value ZHS16GBK (Chinese) character and the data store in > > unicode in the database is for example (THAI), then the conversion would be erroneous.
I'm just on this point for customer UNICODE supported?
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thank you for spending the time to read my questions and I hope to hear soon tips from you guys.
    Million thanks again for sharing.

    Best regards
    Noob, but eager to learn

The requirement to always set NLS_LANG is not true for JDBC, which ignores the NLS_LANG altogether. Java programs extract the textual data in string variables, which uses Unicode UTF-16 by design. JDBC defines the conversion of character sets so that data is converted between UTF - 16 and the database or the national character set.

The obligation to set NLS_LANG is not generally true for the OIC, either. The first call to a problem of the BEAK may be OCIEnvNlsCreate(). This call has two parameters that allow the caller to set the character set to use for the text of VARCHAR2/TANK/LONG/CLOB/statement and the character set to be used for NCHAR/NVARCHAR2/NCLOB. Only if these character sets is specified as 0, character set NLS_LANG is used. Also, the OIC programs can specify different character for each binding sets or set the variable (i.e. the buffer input/output). Note: The OIC programs always use NLS_LANG to initialize the language settings and the territory for the client program and the database session. Only the character set can be specified is OCIEnvNlsCreate().

OCIEnvNlsCreate() can specify the client character set to UTF-16 (platform boutien) format. This is not possible with NLS_LANG.

Various interfaces based on the BEAK, such as ODBC Oracle and .NET for the ODP, explicitly initialize OCI with character set Unicode and therefore ignore the NLS_LANG character set as well.

    Thnx,
    Sergiusz
