Data is not in the table as a master detail block

Hello

I am using oracle 10 g Forms

I have three blocks namely control_block, Header_block and detail_block and three buttons in three blocks. Find the control_block button, the details in Header_block and Detail_block of the button Save button.

Now, I'll enter the block order PO_number and enter find the button and the details of the po is extracted and it will show the details in. in the Header_block and header_block I have a field named as Expeditor and here, the user will be assing Expeditor to this po_number and click the Save button in the Detail_Block.

This is my code

DECLARE
ln_count NUMBER;

CURSOR c_expeditor
IS
SELECT po_number
OF xxogec_poexp_expeditor_stg
WHERE po_number =: header_block.po_number;
BEGIN
IF: DETAIL_BLOCK.po_number IS NULL
THEN
FOR c_exp_rec IN c_expeditor
LOOP
IF c_expeditor % NOTFOUND
THEN
INSERT INTO xxogec_poexp_expeditor_stg
(po_header_id,
po_number, creation_date,
po_expeditor_name
)
VALUES (: header_block.po_header_id,)
: header_block.po_number, SYSDATE,.
: header_block.expeditor
);
ON THE OTHER
UPDATE xxogec_poexp_expeditor_stg
SET po_expeditor_name =: header_block.expeditor
WHERE po_number =: header_block.po_number;
END IF;
END LOOP;

STANDARD.COMMIT;
End if;
End;

Now when I press the button save that data are not get inserted.

Can do anything please correct me where my code was wrong.

Thanks and greetings

You never have to the statemement IF, because there is nothing to loop if there is nothing to find.

    l_start_time is the varchar column

    I guess from_date and to_date are columns of type DATE, right?

    In what format do you store times in l_start_time and l_end_time?
    +
    What is your current nls_date_format value?

    The two influence if the conditions that you added will "work" for you or not.

    For example. If you store moments like this 21:45:30 (so in 24-hour format, with a colon as separator between hours and minutes, so that between minutes and seconds), then it is best to use only a nls_date_format mask in your terms like this:

    AND l_start_time = To_Char(A.from_date,'HH24:MI:SS')
    AND l_end_time = To_Char(A.TO_date,'HH24:MI:SS')

    If you don't need that SUBSTR at all then.

  • Data export of the Disqualification to the table in step should not truncate the table.

    Hello friends,

    Please find blow my requirement and do the necessary.

    We export data cleaned to staging tables, whenever we export data, Disqualification truncates the table and inserts the new data sets into this table.

    My requirement is instead of truncating the table before inserting the data in it, Disqualification must add these records, should not truncate the table.

    Please let me know how to configure this in OEDQ, your help is appreciated.

    Thank you, Prasad

    Could not be easier. Double-click the task to export in your work and change the mode append.

  • Please let me know how I can add a new column with a constraint not null, table already has data, without falling off the table... Please help me on this issue...

    Hello

    I have an emp_job_det with a, b, c columns table. Note that this TABLE ALREADY has DATA OF THESE COLUMNS

    IAM now add a new column "D" with forced not null

    Fistly I alter the table by adding the single column "D", if I do, the entire column would be created with alll of nulls for the column DEFAULT D

    ALTER table emp_job_det Add number D; -do note not null CONSTRAINT is not added

    Second... If I try to add the constraint not null, get an eoor as already conatained null values...

    (GOLD)

    In other words, if I put the query

    ALTER table emp_job_det Add number D NOT NULL; -THROWS ERROR AS TABLE ALREADY CONTAINS DATA

    So my question is how how can I add a new column with a constraint not null, table already has the data, without falling off the table

    Please help me on this issue...

    Add the column without constraint, then fill the column. Once all the rows in the table are given in the new column, and then add the constraint not null.

    It was working fine 2 days ago now pfft, will not work. Everything in the settings of the device checked, said everything works properly without conflicts. I unloaded the driver and rebooted then loaded it, same problem. I tried a disk driver that came with my laptop and is responsible, it is very good, so I take this CD work correctly, but won't load DVD. With DVD Decrypter, it says: could not retrieve the table of contents.

    There must be a solution!

    Hello

    Are you trying to make illegal copies of DVD? ;)

  • Date does not match the format DD-MON-RR

    I've created a form, and I have an element bound to a date type field.
    This element is a date picker, and when I choose a date on the calendar, the date appears correctly, in article 28-Dic-12

    The problem is, trying to create the record, I got an error:
    Date does not match the format DD-MON-RR

    But I do not understand how to solve this problem. The date is correct as far as I KNOW.

    Kind regards.

  • Visible data in a 2D table but not in the Table connected control

    In the attached drawing, you will see that I take control of Table in table form, change the items to help replace a subset of table and then return the resulting table in the Table control.

    I can see my data in "Table of output" and a probe on this thread, but my Table control is empty.  The Table control is 10 columns of 50 lines.

    Can someone tell me why there is no data for the Table control?

    Please do not ask I post the VI because it is big, ugly and not mine to post.

    I can't believe.

    I couldn't see the data because it was out-of-frame.  My Control Panel flashed down a 30 line window and my data was in the first line only.

  • The columns appear in the data store that are not in the table

    Hi guru,.

    I have a table that I built in Oracle and added to ODI by refactoring it, but when I add it as a source to my interface, it contains columns that are not physically in the Oracle table that I can look into a TOAD. I dropped the prior of the table deleted-> interface-> reverse engineering table but I get an additional column. Y at - it an explanation for that? I have the table listed in a stored procedure - should I delete this step as well before reverse engineering, or is something else.

    Thanks in advance.

    Mike

    Yes. There is a possible explanation. How do you are engineering it? If you use Oracle RKM, you may be using a customized version of this KM which adds a column of your table name...

  • Compare and get the data in the tables (see post for details)

    I have two tables TableA and TableB. I struggle to write a query to get the dates of TableB (instead of TableA dates) where TableA dates don't coincide with the tableB (beginning and end).

    Example 1: For account A1234,.

    TableA got 2 rows 1/31/2014-3/3/2014 (which corresponds to TableB row), but TableA got another rank 31/01/2014 - 31/01/2014 that corresponds with the date of TableB Begin. In this case, I'm looking for output as below,

    Use TableB start and end date and combine number two rows from TableA for this account

    ACCOUNTTableB_BEGINTableB_ENDAMOUNT
    A123431/01/201403/03/2014100.0000000000

    Example 2: For the B7777 account.

    TableA end date aligns with the end dates of TableB for this account, in this case I want out put as,.

    Use TableB start and end date and get the amount of TableA

    ACCOUNTTableB_BEGINTableB_ENDAMOUNT
    B777705/04/201306/05/2013200.0000000000

    Example 3: On behalf of D5555,.

    Even a TableA line corresponds with TableA, there are two other rows in TableA matching start date with TableA and correspondence with the end date with TableA, in this case, that I put as,.

    Use TableB start and end date and combine number three rows from TableA for this account.

    ACCOUNTTableB_BEGINTableB_ENDAMOUNT
    D555508/08/201410/09/20141100.0000000000

    Example 4: To account E6666.

    Table corresponds to a row with TableB and no additional lines in TableA, just display the data in A table

    Tables and data:

    create table TableA
    (

    Hello

    Hi Frank,.

    Your query/solution works very well, but I forgot to mention something in the first post...

    Please insert these additional lines and try the request again.

    TableA Additional lines:

    1. Insert into TABLEA (ACCOUNT, BEGIN, END, QUANTITY)
    2. values ('F9999', to_date (January 2, 2014 ',' dd-mm-yyyy ""), to_date (3 January 2014 ', 'dd-mm-yyyy'), 999.0000000000);
    3. Insert into TABLEA (ACCOUNT, BEGIN, END, QUANTITY)
    4. values ('A1234', to_date (March 3, 2014 ',' dd-mm-yyyy ""), to_date (4 March 2014 ', 'dd-mm-yyyy'), 999.0000000000);

    TableB Additional lines:

    1. Insert into TABLEb (ACCOUNT, BEGIN, END, QUANTITY)
    2. values ('A1234', to_date (March 3, 2014 ',' dd-mm-yyyy ""), to_date (4 March 2014 ', 'dd-mm-yyyy'), 999.0000000000);

    Question 1:

    The table has a rows for A1234 account (i.e. the time period different than the ranks for the same account)

    one is A1234 31/01/2014-03/03/2014, A1234 03/03/2014-03/04/2014

    Your query that returns two rows for A1234 account (which is what I want), but the amount is messed up.

    ACCOUNT BEGIN END TOTAL_AMOUNT
    1 A1234 31/01/2014 03/03/2014 1100
    2 A1234 03/03/2014 03/04/2014 1100

    Except:

    ACCOUNT BEGIN END TOTAL_AMOUNT
    1 A1234 31/01/2014 03/03/2014 101
    2 A1234 03/03/2014 03/04/2014 999

    Question 2:

    In some cases TableA will have an account (F9999), but the TableB don't. I can just this line by making the Left Join right join?

    I don't get the results with additional data. I get 1099 for two lines where account = 'A1234 '.  I get 1100 as the amount on the line with the account = "D5555.  You did it other changes to data?

    Except:

    ACCOUNT BEGIN END TOTAL_AMOUNT
    1 A1234 31/01/2014 03/03/2014 101
    2 A1234 03/03/2014 03/04/2014 999

    Still, I don't see why you want to 101 for the amount of the first row.  Why not 100?

    How can you know which rows from tablea should get attached to what rows from tableb, when the account is not unique?

    Maybe you want something like this:

    SELECT a.account

    b.begin

    b.end

    SUM (a.amount) AS total_amount

    FROM tablea a

    ON a.account = b.account JOIN tableb B

    AND a.begin BETWEEN b.begin

    AND b.end

    AND a.end BETWEEN b.begin

    AND b.end

    GROUP OF a.account, b.begin, b.end

    ORDER BY a.account

    ;

    but I guess just to your needs, and guessing is not a very good or reliable way to solve problems.

    Question 2:

    In some cases TableA will have an account (F9999), but the TableB don't. I can just this line by making the Left Join right join?

    Yes, it looks that you want an outer join.  What happened when you tried?  As always, post your code, the exact results you want from the given sample data, as well as an explanation of how you get these results from these data.

  • When and how the subsidiary ledger data are filled in the Table XLA_DISTRIBUTION_LINKS

    Hello gurus

    I worked on a subledger of accountants and I was able to get a fair idea of how data is transferred from XLA_DISTRIBUTION_LINKS to XLA_AE_LINES and XLA_AE_HEADERS. According to my understanding, "Create Accounting" course XLA_DISTRIBUTION_LINKS data will comes down to from JOUNRAL_LINE_TYPES rules and conditions to load in XLA_AE_LINES and XLA_AE_HEADERS. Then during the 'Transfer to GL', data XLA_AE_LINES and XLA_AE_HEADERS are transferred to the GL Tables. What I did not understand, is when and how the data is loaded in XLA_DISTRIBUTION_LINKS. What are the rules and conditions and during what stage data will be charged at XLA_DISTRIBUTION_LINKS table? Can someone please explain to me how the data is transferred from the subsidiary ledger of the panels to the Table of Distribution of the SLA?

    Thank you
    Sunny.

    Top Notes are good.
    But I just wanted to add a point of fertilizers.
    xla_distribution_links and xla_ae_lines will be filled at the same time.

    The two goes on JLTs and their conditions. One is detailed and the other is summarized / merged.
    xla_ae_lines aura balancing additional lines and xla_distirbution_links were going to win extra / loss lines, which end with zero amount.

    Also check the links for the installer of identifiers for distribution.

    Hello

    Create a new document JSPX, drag the af: query and the table from him, then run. Isn't always show no data? If Yes...

    -requires the query variables bind to define? If yes then the initial page load is missing these
    -the ViewCriteria you use automatically queries data? See article of the IU VC tips "question automatically.

  • Can not see the Tables in the database

    I have a 2003 Server (Server A) error results producing ISPS can't help you, so I have to step it up a notch intellectual and ask the world to help you please. Using a site on the server 'A', I create a database in DWMX and connection OK tests. I click on the + to view the tables and it constantly shows 'None' when there are tables there. If I move the configuration of the entire site to the right server 'B', the tables show perfectly. If I develop asp on the server B pages now and then copy to the site on the server 'A', they work perfectly, but if I try to go in the server behaviors 'A', I get an error telling me the tables could not be found.

    What settings or permissions on the server a necessary change for me to see the tables associated with database connections please. Thank you.

    Dave

    Hi, guys. Apparently it is a known problem for which there is a fix (found by one of the ISP in question)... Read on, and let others know. Thank you...

    / Database connectivity fails with local ASP.NET and ASP servers.

    Question / * ASP.net: * when using an ASP.NET local test server on XP
    SP2 with Dreamweaver (i.e. the testing server URL prefix is set to
    (" http://localhost"), of database connectivity fails. If you click on the Test
    button in the OLE DB connection dialog box or the connection to the SQL Server, it
    says that the connection was made successfully. However, if you try then to
    Browse the tables in the databases Panel or in the DataSet dialog box,
    the database tables are not displayed. /

    / * ASP: * when the use of an ASP local test server under XP SP2 with
    Dreamweaver (i.e. the testing server URL prefix is set to
    (" http://localhost"), and you specify "Using driver on the test server" or
    "Using DSN on testing server," database connectivity fails. If you click on
    the Test button in the custom connection string or Data Source name
    (DSN) dialog box, it indicates that the connection was made successfully. However,.
    If you try to browse the tables in the databases or to create Panel a
    Recordset, the database tables are not displayed or you get the following
    error message: "unable to retrieve tables from this connection, click on".
    the "Define" button... "to test this connection. » /

    / * Workaround: * download and install the Dreamweaver extension fix
    <>http://download.Macromedia.com/pub/Dreamweaver/extensions/SP2DBFix1.0.2.mxp >
    by Macromedia, which solves this problem (Ref. 179021). To use this
    extension, follow these steps. The following steps apply to both ASP.NET
    and ASP sites:

    1 /In Dreamweaver, go to the files Panel and choose one of your
    Definitions of ASP.NET site. /
    2/Select site > advanced > remove connection Scripts.

    Note: If this option is grayed out, open an ASP.NET page in
    Dreamweaver. Remove connection scripts will delete the
    content of the _mmServerScripts folder, which is located in the
    the testing server folder. The _mmServerScripts folder is hidden in
    Dreamweaver files Panel, but will be visible if viewed with a
    different file browser. The _mmServerScripts folder consists of
    the following three files: adojavas.inc, MMHTTPDB.asp, and MMHTTPDB.js. the
    login scripts are used by Dreamweaver to run remotely
    connectivity of database in developing pages in Dreamweaver.
    These script files have no effect on your web pages to the course
    time of execution (i.e. when a visitor views your ASP.NET pages via a web site)
    browser). /
    3 /Repeat steps 1-2 for each of your ASP.NET site definitions. /
    4 / quit Dreamweaver. /
    5. / Install the extension. /
    6 / restart Dreamweaver. /
    7 / GB in the files Panel, select one of your ASP.NET sites, and
    Open an .aspx file. /
    8 / GB in the databases Panel and delete your existing database
    connections. Before deleting, make sure to open each
    connection and write down the settings. You can open a connection
    by double clicking on the login name or right click
    the login name and selecting Edit. /
    9 / create a new database connection. Use the same connection names
    you had before, so all existing pages with datasets and server
    Behaviors still work correctly. /
    10 /Click the Test button in the database connection dialog box. This
    Download the new login scripts to the testing server. /
    11 /Repeat steps 7 through 10 for each of your Dreamweaver ASP.NET site
    definitions. /

    / * Note: * this extension is compatible with Dreamweaver MX 2004 and
    Dreamweaver MX. The current version of the extension is 1.0.2. Version
    1.0.1 resolved a database with ASP VBScript connectivity problem
    server model. Version 1.0.2 includes the fixes in version 1.0.1 and also
    resolves the compatibility issues with Dreamweaver MX (version 6). You can
    see what version of the extension that you have by opening the Extension
    Manager. /
