  I hope someone can help me.  I put everything by default but for some reason my data merge overview when selects by default as off the page (red boxes) and centered.

  OK, for a merger of multiple records, you can use exactly 1 set of placeholders in the upper left corner, which seems correct, but I would remove the rest of the stuff until after the merger and put it on a master page, you can then apply. You must also DISABLE the cliché preview multiple record.

  Since you have seen this model, it is probably now garbage, then copy the fusion placeholder image and paste into a new file and try again.

  (1) open the dialog 'Margins and columns' layout > margins and columns...

  (2) the value of any margin changes (change to what we will return it later)

  3) press OK

  (4) to reopen the dialog box margins and columns

  5) back to the value that you changed in step 2

  6) press OK

  Try to merge the document.

• Data merge InDesign Photos

  I have an excel inventory spreadsheet and I'm doing the flyers of stock.  Data merges completely fine, but photos will not. Here is a very simplified version of the information available to me.  The Indesign file will have 5 photos of total, but it transfers any of them.  I have the excel file and the pictures located in the same folder as well.

  I found the problem; It's in your database file.

  When I deleted the Description that all merged column correctly, so I took a quick look. At the end of the text in the first record of this column, there is a return. (I couldn't see it directly by pasting the text into InDesign)

  On a new copy of the data file, I deleted this return, and the fusion worked correctly.

• Why does my indesign cs6 not print black (k100) correctly?

• Reinstall InDesign CS6 (not CC) of Creative Cloud Apps?

  I recently updated my InDesign CS6 and something went wrong (would open is no longer). I tried to delete the preferences that didn't work so I uninstalled with the intention to reinstall. Unfortunately, I see now that InDesign CS6 doesn't seem to be an option in the list of Creative Cloud App, I can only download InDesign CC from there. When I signed up initially to creative cloud you could of times!

  Now, the CC version is probably great, but for backward compatibility issues, I still need to run CS6 right now. I hope that someone can offer some helpful tips?

• SV: Globalvariable not picked up size of the Page in the form of Composite data

  I have a form of composite data with simple data forms 2 tabs. Two data forms have 2 dimensions on their page.

  There is a calculation of the Manager rule is attached. It has two variables for the dimensions of the page. On the composite data form executed options on record, members of the use on the data form, hide variables are selected, a user makes a selection on the dimensions of the page and give some data. The rule of calculation manager retrieves variables in the page and everything is calculated.

  BUT this does not work in SmartView. The Brouwser Web is fine, but in the SmartView, default members for variables are taken. Variables are also not hidden (thank God, otherwise he would have been a task even greater to see what happens).

  Please try to fix the individual rule with simple shapes, which allows required options (performed on record etc), then in endearing '' to check and composite shape if that makes a difference.

• Why CC color Adobe and Indesign CC not convert CMYK to RGB the same?

  Recently, I used Adobe Color CC to create a color theme that will be used for print and the web.  I created the theme with the CMYK values approved in order to save the. ASE file will be imported other CC apps.  The corresponding RGB, Hex, Lab and TSL values are created automatically.  Of course, we use RGB and CMYK to print to the web

  A colleague had separately created the same exact theme of CMYK in InDesign CC and exact by the same CMYK values RGB values I used in Adobe Color.

  InDesign RGB values are quite different from the Adobe color values.

  Anyone know why the values are not the same, and more importantly, what CMYK for conversion RGB values may be invoked for accuracy?

  EDIT: I guess the real question should be, what are the parameters of management integrated into Adobe Color CC colors, and can they be duplicated in desktop applications Adobe CC?

  Color Adobe does not support color (Web app, or iOS app) management.  InDesign, however, supports color management.  Thus, the difference you see is due to fact that the Id is the color management and the web application is not.

  Connect with a user who has a certain responsibility associated with an org_id (82), but there is also an org_id (81) set as default at the site level.
  We have a page with an AttachmentTable that is used for the contracts.
  In this page, we have a function that updates some attachments (because a contract template has been changed) using a simultaneous process associated with BI Publisher.
  
  After this function has updated on attachments, to display the results in the AttachmentTable, I do the following in CO:

  I read somewhere, refreshing the page that the retainAM must be set to false.

  Note that this medication works very well when I connect with the same org_id (by the responsibility) of the value of the default site.
  Data loss occurs when I use an org_id which is not the same thing to the value of the default site.
  
  If I use retainAM = true, I don't see the attachment of the update.
  
  Do you have advice to help me to refresh the page (and AttachmentTable)?

  If I'm gettting it correct then you want to run the query based on the current ORG ID... IF this is the case then instead of use the VO query with this where clause

  WHERE XxfwContractEO.ORG_ID = fnd_profile.value ('ORG_ID')

  Please use

  WHERE XxfwContractEO.ORG_ID = :1
  

  & then when running the original Version, you can setWhereClauseParam to set the binding parameter.

• When the scaling in the layout, 1st page prints correctly, but the following pages were not properly/too large for the paper, parts of text missing scale

  When you try to print in Firefox and when the scale to the size of the page in the page layout, the first page prints correctly, but the following pages do not scale correctly and are too large for the paper, with the parts of the text are cut off at top and right. It is not fixed by checking or unchecking the scaling / shrink to fit page width "ignore" in the print window, or by changing the scale percent.

  I am running Firefox 15.0.1, on Mac OS 10.5.8.

  The same problem happens in preview print and if I save the copy in a .pdf file

  I tried all the fixes in the how to and others in various forums with no improvement.

  This happens everytime I try to print a document from scaling upwards or downwards in Firefox.

  I note the bug has been fixed and should in Firefox 21 right now, it will mean the use night http://nightly.mozilla.org/

• OfficeJet 6500 e709: prints w / scale on the left margin and does not print right side of the page

  Prints with a wide margin and does not print the last 2 "or 3" on the right side of the page. This occurs even when the value of the left margin to little or none.

  I see your thoughts produce a wide margin left and right of the page is cut off. What program are you printing from, and this occurs when you print from all programs or just a particular program?

  I see your post that this is not happening when you print a test page, so I think the problem is somehow related to the driver or program that you use. Let's start with the HP print and Scan Doctor is a free utility (tool) that allows to quickly resolve problems printing, scanning and connectivity, including but not limited to:

  • Connectivity:

    USB: Check that the USB connection from your computer to the HP product works properly.

    Network: Verifies that the network connection between your computer and your network is working properly.

  • Device Status Test: checks the errors of the device, such as paper, paper jams, stands transport and paper issues and provides instructions to resolve the error.

  • Driver: checks the driver missing or corrupt files.

  • Device Manager: check the problems in Device Manager that could prevent printing.

  • Device online: check if the product has been suspended or put in offline and then sets the State back in line if necessary.

  • Print queue: checks and clears pending print jobs in the print queue (a newspaper for printing waiting to print).

  • Port Match: check the port settings for the HP product.

  • Device conflicts: check the conflicts with other drivers, such as the other brands of printers.

  • Ink issues: check the cartridges and the ink levels for issues that affect the print quality.

  • Print settings: check and adjust the print quality settings.

  • Test print: print a test page for the assessment of the print quality and provides options for cleaning and if necessary print head alignment.

  • Scan tests: check the scanning mechanism, drivers, and registry entries.

  If this does not resolve the problem, after back and let me know if there are all the symbols except the Green checkmarks and what they are next of course. The key is not always easy to identify the key and check mart are in the green circle.

  • If you see only the Green checkmarks (), the tool did not find any problem.

  • If you see green sides (), the utility identified a problem and fix it automatically.

  • If you see yellow exclamation points (), the test failed and requires monitoring of the user, but the step was ignored.

• Find not highlight first word of the page

  OK, that makes me crazy. Just a simple user you are looking for a word in a doc. When you use SEARCH, it highlights never the first word found on the page! If I click on find next, it will highlight the next word found on this page if there is one. If there is, I know that somewhere in the foregoing is another instance of the word I was looking for. Otherwise, she will move to the next page with that Word, but even once it is NOT highlighted.

• InDesign CS6 not activate without creative cloud

  I have a paper copy of the Adobe Creative suite CS6 Design & Web Premium set, I bought and installed on my computer. All products seem to work except for Indesign, which, for some reason, won't open for me until I have renew my subscription to creative cloud. I'm not creative cloud. I don't need. I have the programs: I bought them - so I expect to be allowed to use them. No other programs Adobe do this; only Indesign. Why is this going on?

  Open your desktop app cc and disconnection.

  Then, open id and see if you can find an option to connect.  If you can, use a non - cc connection.  We should then be asked to allow your id (using your serial number).
