Database health

Hi all

My database performs very slowly. Is there something that can tell me what is the status of my database and what problems he is and what kind of changes I have to do to do better with respect to memory, physical etc.. I've had enough SGA_MAX and SGA_TARGET defined around 2 GB. I use Oracle 10 g on Windows.

Kind regards.

I got what you said in your original post, you need to come back with the answers to the questions that I asked you. These answers help us to guide you in a better than to give "conjecture".

Y at - it a utility that works and then generates a report stating that these are problems found in my database. Like chaining line, water marks etc.

I said 'usefulness', EM! It's the only thing that could tell you things an easier way with arrays of good research and so on. Otherwise, things get to the manual part. Part is already given to you, Statspack, you can run and get information. The 2nd (and paid version, statspack is free) and more is better version, automatic Repository (AWR) of workload that would do the same thing and also give the recommendation. It is a tool paying well and you should have License Pack Tuning with you to use it.

  • Database health cancels its hard to find subscription

Database of health in previews shows a recent report massive increase (in January) in unsubscribe in our database. I tried to watch these cancels his subscription in other reports Insights by pulling a list of all emails sent during this period, but the number of opt-out reported (Email activity report analysis) are no where near the huge number indicated in the report of health database. Any idea on why there might be a gap? and where I couldn't be looking to find the cause of so many opt-out?

Do you have someone in your download, organizing contacts as cancels his subscription in January? In general, which will appear in your churn during the reporting period, but it wouldn't show in the scope of your e-mail. If you are unsure, you can check the download of the month history to see if there are additions in order to unsubscribe.

If that does not have all the answers, I'd build a segment to look for contacts that without subscription during the period of time as lkincke suggested. Then look at contacts and see if you can spot trends (e-mails they received, days they performed an activity, dates of creation, etc.) that could indicate the root cause of their opt-out and help track down you what happened to cause the crampon.

  • Industry tracking database health

Our marketing campaigns are segmented by the industries that we serve (i.e., Auto, Finance, insurance, etc.). Is it possible to run the database industry health report? I want to understand the health of each database in the industry. Thanks in advance!

    Hi Jessica,.

I'm sure that's not available 'out of the box' with the license to the standard level. That being said, don't forget that with Insight Analyzer, you can build your own custom reports and dashboards, so you would be able to build exactly what need you! We have a class Eloqua University (if you hold a subscription of education) called Eloqua10 Insight for scanners that will give you a taste of the license of the Analyzer, or you can view the the specified item was not found. in the Documentation Library products Know It . If you want to switch to the license of the Analyzer, you want to connect with your account representative to Eloqua.

    Hope that helps!

"What different last week" is not the same as "what important thresholds crossed." It is easily controlled with OEM. In fact, OEM has most of what most people find useful already monitored. All you need to do is activate the built in its notification, send an email to all the interested parties when these events occur or thresholds are crossed.

And integrated into OEM thresholds are easily modified to meet your own needs.
And OEM can also be configured for additional control in addition to what comes "out of the box.

Your standby database health seems good and is in phase with the primary. Mistakes "hearbeat failed", you've seen, maybe during the RMAN duplication, Eve could have been returned a couple of times, who would have said these errors in the primary alert log file.

  • Export the database of health app

I'm dim? And why not an iPad app (I know others have asked) and a Sierra application for data management. The whole point of iOS and OS X is their connectivity... common apple

The health App is on the iPhone for reasons of confidentiality, it only save your data if you encrypt the backup on iTunes for example.

I know it might be cool to check health on the Mac or iPad. If Apple isn't that people will say, it's not sure, anyone can know if I have diabetes or other stuff... I think it will stay like that.

  • Comprehensive database of successful EXPDP means health data base?

    Hello

A full export with expdp means that all data in the database is ok?
I had to recover a file system with e2fsck and I have to open the database without the warnings... after that I did an export complete database... no warning on defective or something not like that... This means that the database is ok?

    Concerning
    Ricardo

Export/datapump does not export the data dictionary, I wouldn't count on that to the database healthy. Better a full backup of database for RMAN (which ckecks for block corruption) and/or dbverify.

    Werner

You can even add 'sense check' to the RMAN command.

  • Health data and portfolio lost iPhone 6 s

Ugh, it's a mess. It started yesterday when I did my workouts and noticed that the health App missing data.

This will be long, so here's fair WARNING

    We're going back to Friday.

I use a chest strap HR monitor Tickr Wahoo and their application for the registration of my workouts. This in turn is saved to the HealthKit app on my phone. and THIS pushes the calories burned in my LoseIT! App to help me count my daily calories against calories burned. It worked all fine until yesterday.

Saturday - I am for a car show and had no place to stuff my phone in the BRA, which. Somehow, it was not "locked" and the icons were in this clear mode fussing. Oops - so I cancelled that and thought that I can I have accidentally deleted one or two applications in the process. Boob-delete! take it as you want

Yes, because I backed up my phone before we left, when I came home I restored it. No problem. Done this before without a problem. EVERYTHING is back. My credit in the wallet cards, EVERYTHING.

    Fast forward to Wednesday (yesterday).

Do you have my training. When finished the app request if I want to record. I say Yes and it records the application of health.

I opened my application health and he's NOT here. In addition to this, ALL the stuff on my "dashboard" is NOT how I got it. Everything seems to have gone for the past year. The name of God.

I'm going to the LoseIT! App to save my calories eaten breakfast and notice that the info of the workout is not there. Ugh. I quit the app. I quit all applications and review LoseIt. Nada. I open the Wahoo fitness app and send the info to training to lose it and it said that the workout is here. No, it isn't. I do this several times when checking the settings in all applications until I'm in some crazy circle of * that Dante had not imagined.

I left all. do a hard reboot and check again. This circle of * is becoming more demonic. I recovered my health application for my taste and manually imported my workout data to LoseIt.

I give today to see if maybe it was just a glitch. Of course, it is not a problem.

So I come here and start searching. For the life of me I can't find the thread, but I found one where it has been dated earlier this year and one who has answered the OP said to restore the phone from a backup. OK I can do it again and we'll see what happens.

Kill me. Just kill me now and save me from this endless loop of data loss!

When I restore the phone Saturday morning settings, NOTHING else to lose 2 workouts in the application of Wahoo (fine I can live with that) but now, unlike the restaurant Saturday night crept, my portfolio data are all parties.

This circle of * now has to gremlins who live there make more impossible things.

On top of this restoration, he gave me grief about unlocking it due to a code and then when he finally decided to unblock, I had this white screen where I had to slide to unlock. I put in my access code and then it has been upgraded. I let him finish connect to iCloud and all that good stuff.

    My wallet is always empty.

Health app is still what it feels like.

I shouldn't have started this nonsense of restoration. I made this twice this morning without success.

    Restore database could be corrupted?

Should I try wiping the phone completely and then restoring the database?

I want to wait answers here before I put my new card info. Some cards are easy and some live *. I tried a card I know is free of grief in the hope it would be 'pushing' the info in there and do everything back, but of course that didn't happen AND he told me he can't add to the card and I need to communicate with the transmitter.

So, help me or kill me, but I don't want to go back to that circle of * new today!

In the application of health data are saved only if your backup is encrypted. iCloud back ups are. If you use iTunes to back up, you must explicitly check to check and choose a password.

    @Roygeorges ,

Hello again and thanks for posting back.

First of all, here is a link to your systems support page.

Computers portable multimedia HP Pavilion dv7-1103ef - Software & Drivers

Now that you are running a Vista machine.  In other words, it has been chugging along for awhile now.

First thing you want to do is make a backup of all your data.  Music, Photos, Documents and so on.

Then do a full restore of the system.  The reason is that your computer is that the data on it are displaced, written and erased many times leave stains on your hard drive that are sales (magnetic shadows of old data).  Thus, your operating system becomes a mess.

Perform a recovery of the system (Windows Vista) HP

You should actually do this once a year to keep your system clean and happy.  The computer is no different from any other machine.  As you want to change the oil and clean the car from time to time.  Your laptop must be maintained.

There is software out there on the market, you can buy that will help you to clean your operating system and maintain your system registry database.  All of this helps.  Especially if you don't know what to look for and what places on your OS with these unnecessary files and the dust bunnies tend to hang out and start causing problems within the system.

If you do not have the recovery partition or if you are not able to access for some reason this link will be of great help.

Get a HP USB recovery or HP recovery disc drive

Thanks again for posting and have a great day.

  • How to connect to the database without sqlclient soa

    Hi all

I have a very simple question.

I need to write a shell script to get some stats for bpel instances of database as part of the daily health check.

The problem is in our area of unix server, any customer database is not installed.

Sql client is present as part of the installation of SOA that we can use to create the connection to the database? or by any mode of access to the shell database.

    Thanks in advance,

    Bob

    Hi Bob, there.

most of the components in the FMW stack including SOA infrastructure rely on pure JDBC to talk to RDBMS and as I know there is no client Oracle installed in slot the FMW home (after installing SOA Suite).

One possibility would be to use the Oracle Instant Client and use its tools from your shell scripts. It's a bit unzip and run Setup.

  • Db_verify modifies a database?

I'm trying to understand how db_verify uses databases. We have a backup process that runs every night and copy the database to another machine (using the CPS). While the copy happens, we organize db_verify on the database to do a health check on the database. Note that the scp and the db_verify occur in parallel on the database.

Is something worrying? My hypothesis is db_verify does not change database sort and so it does not interfere with CPC somehow. Let me know. Thank you!

If you do not draw the environment files, then it should all be ok in normal situations.  Things of band / unpredictable can and occur.   The best approach would be to run check, to check the finish and the error checking, if no errors, then run the scp when no other process/thread does not have any activity in the database.    Do anything other than that has a potential for something unpredictable will happen because you have a process (db_verify) in the environment of the db. . A blocked process is 1 example of something that could go wrong.   Another example: you get an error of memory page.    Given that you know and understand your own environment, then you will need to assess the level of tolerable risk.
