• Database health cancels its hard to find subscription

  Database of health in previews shows a recent report massive increase (in January) in unsubscribe in our database. I tried to watch these cancels his subscription in other reports Insights by pulling a list of all emails sent during this period, but the number of opt-out reported (Email activity report analysis) are no where near the huge number indicated in the report of health database. Any idea on why there might be a gap? and where I couldn't be looking to find the cause of so many opt-out?

  Do you have someone in your download, organizing contacts as cancels his subscription in January? In general, which will appear in your churn during the reporting period, but it wouldn't show in the scope of your e-mail. If you are unsure, you can check the download of the month history to see if there are additions in order to unsubscribe.

Then look at contacts and see if you can spot trends (e-mails they received, days they performed an activity, dates of creation, etc.) that could indicate the root cause of their opt-out and help track down you what happened to cause the crampon.

  I'm not a DBA but from a risk perspective, I was intregued on maintaining the State of general health and monitoring required for efficient service of DBA.

  I appreciate there are tools to help in this area, but it was more the metrics watch you, I was more interested.

  Here, I need metrics on what different from last week, which needs to be addressed parameters
  (for example, processes and sessions have limit max and if our databases has already reached near this value)
  Next, we need to come back to the reason why we have more connections.
  DB_FILES is the maximum number of files in a database, we can create. If we've reached the maximum value, we can not create new data files).
  
  So there are some parameters that can "t be replaced without stopping and restarting DB and if we can grasp these details by every Friday, we can determine how to remedy.
  
  
  (2) hours, daily, weekly, followed by data bases
  
  Locks on the contention, tablespace growth, growth of the object, databases, etc, etc.

  "What different last week" is not the same as "what important thresholds crossed." It is easily controlled with OEM. In fact, OEM has most of what most people find useful already monitored. All you need to do is activate the built in its notification, send an email to all the interested parties when these events occur or thresholds are crossed.

  And integrated into OEM thresholds are easily modified to meet your own needs.
  And OEM can also be configured for additional control in addition to what comes "out of the box.

• Tracking database using Nagios (the search for scripts)

  We currently have BigBrother to Nagios with regard to the broad monitoring company. I'm working on the side of the data base of the things and I wonder if there is someone out there who can tell me where I can get scripts "ready made" rather than having me to write from scratch. Nagios has plugins for the database, but no handles things like memory, on-demand jobs followed etc.

The 2nd (and paid version, statspack is free) and more is better version, automatic Repository (AWR) of workload that would do the same thing and also give the recommendation. It is a tool paying well and you should have License Pack Tuning with you to use it.

  additional configuration is not necessary after you enable the message tracking feature. So in this case, I recommend opening a support with the STAC file so that they can consider this if the tracking database is in operational condition and make the data are imported as expected.

• TestStand 2012 launch problem

  Hello

  I have an annoying problem with TestStand 2012. Whenever I run the TestStand application a Visual Studio 2010 Shell dialog box appears "invalid license data. Reinstall is required. ». I have no Visual Studio is installed and I've ever had. I certainly never enter any license key. The same dialog box appears when you launch Version TestStand selector.

  I am running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit SP1. Only Microsoft that's installed products are SQL Server Express 2012 and the .NET Framework 4 Runtime. I tried to reinstall times TestStand and .NET Framework always the same dialog box that appears. If I just press "Close" in the dialog box, everything works fine, but really annoying needing to do.

  Someone at - he seen this before and have a solution?

  This question, I recorded it in our tracking database. It will probably be addressed in a future release. You might want to try to install Visual Studio 2010 Express (I think it's a free download from Microsoft), or the alternative, I suggested.

  Your standby database health seems good and is in phase with the primary. Mistakes "hearbeat failed", you've seen, maybe during the RMAN duplication, Eve could have been returned a couple of times, who would have said these errors in the primary alert log file.

  I have a problem: there's 'SQL Workshop Guide' quote, article 4.9: to access one of the icons on the tracking database page, you must have an account that has been granted a database administrator role.

  Does that mean exactly? One of the DB schema associated with the workspace account must have the role DBA? APEX user must have DBA role (If Yes, then how)? I do not understand :-(

  I have an interactive pdf file which has a few embedded bookmarks and internal links. All this work well in iOS, but they do not work on PC. The two platform uses the same version of Adobe Acrobat. No idea why?

  I confirmed that the client (@ew) is facing a real bug in which a PDF file (with the widget with GoTo annotation targets to various pages) who has worked on Player 10.0.0 is no longer works in recent versions of MS Reader (or 11.0.0). So, there was a break somewhere along the way.

  In order to follow this issue and get it resolved, I've created a bug (#4075273) in our bug tracking database.

  Some clarification: the problem seems so the PDF has several Widget Annots all have the same field/t (name), and that seems to be confusing Reader.
