• Errors ASP with Access database connection CS3

  I was stuck on this during a good 2 days. I'm a new ASP guy. I would be so happy with this outing, my marriage is at the corner of figure!
  
  I am creating a basic web site for my wedding. I created a RSVP page that publishes on a data base access with VBscript. I can connect to the ok of the database with built-in tools. But as soon as I add a Recordset, and then drag my fields on and add an insert statement, I get an ASP error everywhere.

• Where is Geo Locaiton preferences saved site?

  I work for a library, and we have a custom profile for our audience when using Firefox. We have a set homepage link that asks the user to share their location. I want to know what file is that the information recorded on so I can set the preference of location geo homepage in advance.

  All these Site preferences are stored in the database permissions.sqlite file in the Firefox profile folder.

  You can control and manage permissions for the domain in the tab currently selected through these steps:

  • Click on 'More information' to open ' tools > Page Info "with the Security tab is selected

  Hi all

  In the desperate not to use Flash more attempts, I put the activation setting to 'ask to activate '. Then I went on a website (which uses the Flash) and Firefox prompted me if yes or not I allow this Web site says to use the Flash. I didn't allow this site to use at the time so I first clicked on the cross to close the issue. But she appeared again and I then said 'Keep blocking' (or whatever it may be in English).

  However, I now want to use Flash on this website while keeping the 'Ask to activate"setting. But the guest does not show even after restarting Firefox. So the question is how can we get back it? How to enable a Web site use a plugin after the user said no?

  When you click on "Keep blocking" Firefox adds an entry to the basis of site permissions (permissions.sqlite) to you don't bother with the information bar more. The notification icon to always appear in the address bar.

  You can also view the permissions of the Page Info dialog Panel. You can call it using one of these:

  • Right click and select View Page Info > permissions
  • (menu bar) Menu Tools > Page Info > permissions
  • Click the icon of padlock or globe to the left of the address of the site > additional information > permissions

  There should be a section from the permissions list of plugin on the site where you can find 'Adobe Flash' and if it is set to block, change it back to "Use default".

  If that's not restore the bar information, and you can't live without it, there are three ways less than ideal to clear this permission setting:

  (1) use the feature "Forget this Site" to erase all data for the site: site permissions, bookmarks, cookies, history, everything. If you right click on any entry in the history of the site, "Forget this Site" is on the shortcut menu.

  (2) completely remove database permissions from site (but this removes things like blocks of cookie, permissions popup, etc. for all sites). I do not recommend this.

  (3) use an extension that allows you to edit the permissions from site database (a little involved, see: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1011980#answer-606947).

• Is it possible to see/work with cookies outside of the Firefox browser?

  Hello! I'm looking for more help to understand more than info on the cookies.sqlite file. I use to add/remove cookies in bulk the exceptions list when I used the cookies.txt file, however now that I am unable to use a block of text to quickly paste the names of cookies, I think trying to modify my exception list became quite tedious. I was wondering if I would be able to use another method of work and to view a list of cookies outside of the Firefox browser? Thank you in advance for your help!

  You would need a program of SQLite Manager to open the cookies.sqlite file and check its status.
  
  However exceptions are stored is no longer in the basis of cookies.sqlite, but in a single file database permissions.sqlite.

  You can give him a first test with the SQLite Manager extension if you do not yet have one yourself.

• VMWare v6.0 to 6U1 or 6U2 Upgrade - external PSC - 1603 errors in vCenter Server

  Hi all

  I was wondering if someone met the upgrade a version 6.0 VMWare install to U1 or U2 upgrade and received a 1603 error.

  The installation runs correctly on the external PSC, but when running against the vCenter Server fails and has a 1603 error and did a restore.

  The VCSServiceManager component installation failed with error code "1603". Check the logs for more details

  I tried all the other threads suggesting to have .net installed 3.5, the ipv4 stack and database permissions but are all there.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  For those who have encountered this problem in the future, was the way I solved this:

  Question has been connected to the VMWare SysLog Collector Service. There is a problem with the new syslogcollection MSI being able to upgrade, uninstall or reinstall on the legacy.

  Best way to solve this problem is to remove the reference to the old service of library of Windows Setup syslog collector. The way I did it was to use the Windows Installer CleanUp legacy.

  Post this, remove installation held as scheduled and transmitted "installation VCSServiceManager.

  If you come across this issue - you can test it by trying to run the msi syslogcollector contained in the directory of files binary vCenter.

• Developer SQL 4.02/4.01 cannot change views in other drawings (since V3.1?)

  If someone else can check this?

  I tried to figure this out for a few days and found that works V3.1 and 4.0.1 and 4.0.2 does not work.  Not sure of the release inbetween.

  I'm unable to 'Edit' views are not in my diagram.  It has nothing to do with database permissions.  Switch to a different user/schema and expand the tree to view.  Right-click a view and choose Edit.

  The error window is titled 'View Edition' and "the database user has sufficient privileges for the operation data." is the error message that results.

  Curiously, I can choose to export the fast DDL (export) without worry.

• Why do I not use can I GET / PUT checkout with wordpress sites.

  I have set up sites of clients connected via FTP with dreamweaver. But when I do it with wordpress sites, I can't browse localhost on it because the database permissions are different, and if I replace the wp-config online no longer works (I'm smart enough to paper and the configuration files before I break things ). Then I set up a local host of wordpress, but when I PUT them on the site, they get lost in an imaginary place and no change is pushed through. Thank you.

  I thought about it. FOR THE RECORD HERE ARE THE STEPS.
  1. to connect to the remote server and pull all files in public_html in your www WAMP or MAMP folder.

  2. AFTER all the files are drawn, save a copy of wp - config.php one safe place.

  2 delete the wp - config.php IN the LOCAL DISPLAY!

  3. navigate to the folder wordpress in the browser, EXAMPLE: localhost/public_html

  4. you will be prompted to set up a new wordpress, when you do, make sure that the table prefixes are the same as the remote server prefixes.

  5 import your XML file to the Wordpress on the remote server.

  6. ENJOY.

  Word of warning, when you work on your theme, your local point of view and PUT the files on the server, make sure that you say NEVER Yes for including dependent files, you run the chance to crush the wp-config remote and if you have not saved a copy you can not go back in it. • A domain on the server vCenter Server installation causes vCenter Server fails to start

  Well I tried for a while, to get my vCenter Server to work with my newly created domain name and at least i did not have much luck. It seems that every time that

  I have create a new domain and restart the system. For the VirtualCenter Server service fails to start on reboot. I checked my odbc connection and test works very well.

  I am able to log in microsoft management studio without problem. But still, the service does not start I understand I can meet here, it's probably a

  with my database permissions issue.  However I can't seem to find the answer by myself if I m hoping to hear some suggestions from all of you who help on this.

  Uh, you have not installed vCenter on the same server that is running your domain controller you have?

  ADAM and cannot run on the same machine AD.

  If it is installed on the same computer that your DC - get a new machine for VC - this configuration will never work. (minimum supported ram is 3 GB.)

  We see in the newspapers that ADAM is not from, and that's why VC fails to start as well.

  Failed to get all pages of search results: 0xa (a reference was returned by the server).

  Couldn't find OU = container of Instances.  This may indicate a problem with the LDAP permissions for the execution account VirtualCenter, or that the schema is not compatible with this version of VirtualCenter.

  As I initially suspected, there was a problem with the page, not the database or database permissions. Somewhere in the original code, it was trash. I Redid the page by copying the contents of the table into a new page and it worked then.

  Assumptions about the data were wrong.

  If you don't want to use the Adf security, you must use a custom security implementation or use a traditional J2EE security implementation.

During the investigation I have found that if the sysadmin rights user then user access to it and no error, but not as a db_owner. We use 2008 with Service Pack 2.   Now I know most of them is explained in the article linked above, but not all. I was wondering if anyone knows what each of them and what are the effects of delete them in the process. Since Firefox will delete obsolete/replaced not by / replaced files, I have to do it manually to clean bloating with some versions. That some of them have not been updated in a while or if I have a question its current position to keep it in the folder.

  Research - metadata.json stores data for the search engine as a key word (alias), their order and if they are enabled.

  You can open JSON files in Notepad (Firefox Tools menu button > Web Developer) for the purpose of inspection.
  Click on the button to "Pretty Print" to fit the file for readability.

  You can use the SQLite Manager extension in Firefox to inspect the SQLite database files.

• What are the causes "Ignore permissions on this volume" to reset?

  Asking again because I'm really interested in this.

  "Ignore permissions on this volume" periodically becomes somehow unchecked in my internal memory drives, all three at the same time, and I want to know what can be the possible causes. Nothing unique or any action on my part come to mind, I only noticed because Finder is set to show all files, so hidden system folders icons have the red on their door.

  Here's the bit that evolves on its own or by me inadvertently.
