database, SYNTAX

Hello

I have a VI with DB connectivity toolkit.  On this, I use a DB tool select data.  I'm trying to read data from a table by using a SQL query (in State).  Well, when one using the sentence

SELECT id FROM SensoresIR1 WHERE id = 36151

LabVIEW gives me an error:

I had to do a restore of database; to get rid of some bad data that was loaded and when it ends, I want back at a specific time, but I'm not sure of the correct syntax.  An application provider gave me the following to try but I wanted to get other comments until something is wrong.  Any help would be great... Thank you... Mike

I'll try to find the exact syntax and haven't seen it written anywhere, if

recover the database up to the ' March 17, 2015 15:00.

    doesn't work, try

    recover database until time ' March 17, 2015 15:00.

and if this does not work, try

    recover the database to the ' 17 March 2015 15:00 '

and if this does not work, try

    recover database until time ' 17 March 2015 15:00 '

and if this does not work, try

and if this does not work, try

    recover database until time ' to_date ('2015-03 - 17:15:00:00 ',' HH24:MI:SS').

and if this does not work, try

    1. RUN
    2. {

    4. RECOVER THE DATABASE;

small question, I do the rman database restoration, I'd do the

    Heya,

When I read your post, I initially thought you were posting a tutorial on the question of whether or not a chosen user name is already resigtered on registration as this tutorial page:

    http://DwFAQ.info/signup_demo.php

    User name of Spry availability
    Created: Sunday, July 5, 2009 14:29

Then after looking at the page you linked to and try to understand the purpose of this tutorial, I've noticed that you're talking about something like this:

    http://DwFAQ.info/home.php?ID=7

    Spry search
    Created: Sunday, March 1st, 2009 20:51

It's pretty simple to do with the link I referenced. Just create your database with populated tables, use the script mentioned to convert data from the database in xml syntax, then enter your dynamic database script as the location of the xmlDataSet linked spry page.

View source on this page which shows the non-destructive filter in action to see how it's done! You can also Spice it up a little products, etc. using this method. The key is to create a dynamic xml from your database syntax, and then use the location of the dynamic xml as your xmlDataSet script in the search page.

I have an example of the auto suggest search on my homepage http://DwFAQ.info

On the upper-left corner of the page, click on the link that says search for tutorials to bring up the search form. Then start typing characters in the search box to view the Scriptures instantly filter depending on the characters that are typed. You can also further filter by clicking on the category checkboxes to filter by keyword AND category.

You can view the source code on my site to see the location of the dynamic xml syntax that is referenced as the location of xmlDataSet and how it has been implemented in the site.

  • noarchivelogs and the control file

    Hi guys,.

    (Oracle 9.2.0.7)

    If I have

CREATE CONTROLFILE SET DATABASE 'MY_DB' RESETLOGS NOARCHIVELOG

Does this mean that my database cannot be used archivelogs? I'm confued - I can't seem to find a way to specify (NO) ARCHIVELOG parameter in the create database command. I would have thought the archive setting would be defined in the init file, or, when you create the database.

    Help, please

    1. you can specify ARCHIVELOG DATA CREATE database (look at the 'clauses of database registration' in the CREATE DATABASE syntax in [http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14200/statements_5004.htm#i2061233])

    2. However, general practice is to first create the database in NoArchiveLog, fill all creation scripts and then convert the database in ARCHIVELOG mode.

    3. conversion of a database in ARCHIVELOG mode is done with the command 'ALTER DATABASE ARCHIVELOG' when the database is in "STARTUP MOUNT". Note that you should install log_archive_dest (or several dests) as well.

Sign up for example in the form of scheme A on DEV 1

SQL > GRANT SELECT ON EMP to? * *

    Thanks for your contributions
    Harry

Do not give this table in diagram A diagram B.

Inside the diagram B, you can just issue a select statement as follows:

    select *
    from table@db-link-to-A

Oracle connects to the remote instance by using the credentials of the scheme A, and since A is the owner of this table, Oracle can already access the table.

Fix this error related to the keyword.

  • DB connectivity Kit: syntax error in a SELECTION of data from joined tables

    Hello everyone

I'm putting in labview a SQL query on joined tables.

As an example I take a database to store the data of basketball 2on2 matches, which tables are

    corresponds to (matchId, Thomas, teamB)

    teams (teamId,PlayerAname, PlayerBname, nationality)

    nationalities (NatId, natName)

To get an array of result with the game as well as the names of player as well as their nationality, I use this query on MySQL (which works on command line interface)

    SELECT MatchID,
    T1. PlayerAName, t1. PlayerBName, n1.natName,
    T2. PlayerAName, t2. PlayerBName, n2.natName
    MATCHES m
    INNER JOIN teams t1 ON t1.teamID = m.teamA
    INNER JOIN teams t2 ON t2.teamID = m.teamB
    INNER JOIN nationalities L1 ON n1.natID = t1.nationality
    INNER JOIN nationalities n2 ON n2.natID = t2.nationality

When I put it in labview, using the block 'select data', I get a syntax error as shown in the attached screenshot.

Am I something mistanking using the JOIN examples statements or aliases?

    Thanks in advance!

The select VI is designed to be a simple way to select from a table. I doubt that he can do joins (and would not certainly need the 'FROM', even if it can). What you can do instead calls the query execute VI and give him the complete SQL query. I don't remember if it returns the data in the recordset object, so you must do so separately.

As you said you to http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/what-error-is-this/td-p/2028382

the way to fix this is to learn SQL

This isn't a problem with LabVIEW.

  • LabSQL to MySQL connection string syntax

    Hi all

I'm just starting using labSQL and MySQL and cannot even connect to the database, I want to start practicing. I tried to write my own code and use the code example, but I can't get a connection to a database. The error is still "an Exception occurred at ADODB. Connection: The operation is not allowed when the object is closed. Help path is C:\Windows\HELP\ADO270. CHM and context in ADO Execute.vi connection 1240653-> Simple.vi". I've set up a system DSN using the MySQL ODBC Unicode 5.2 driver and I'm under Labview 2012 with MySQL Workbench/5.6 Server 5.2. I really just need to know the syntax of the connection string that you pass in the ADO connection open vi.

    Thank you in advance.

  • Key id of database of newspapers

    Hello

I was instructed to take the newspapers of different testers and insert these log files in a central database.

I was able to split the data I need to get out, but I have real problems with the creation of a key. Now, I've split the log files in 2 separate tables.

1 table contains the main results (if it has the serial number, type of test, unit type, duration, start date/time and status)

2nd table contains the details of tests were merged (cocacenated) with the pass / fail result.

The two tables will be linked by this ID.

I am trying to achieve on HeidiSQL (MySQL)

I have installed ODBC for mysql and its related to the database.

Here is the sample code im work off of, but I can't make it work either.

However when I run this I just syntax errors.

I did something stupid without realizing it?

    Kind regards

Looks like VI made citing no automatic string identifiers. Try to add the names of columns that contain a space in square brackets.

    for example

    [Date of Test]

If you can still change the definition of the table it was preferable however to avoid spaces in column names and other identifiers of databases. Use CamelCase as you did for SerialNumber or replace the space with an underscore character.

  • LabVIEW database problem: create a database of the user-defined fields

I think it's because I'm trying to re - create the database column variable type, but I don't know what I'm doing wrong.  Everything seems fine data types, and everything works as long as I use a constant to create database columns.  I even tried to put all the information in the labview set, format, which changed to a variant and redefined it as the labview database column type.

I have attached a simplified VI and a picture of what I'm trying to do, but I'd appreciate any help I can get.  I hope that I have pulled all my hair at the time where a certain answers!

    1. on a powerconnect switch, when you wanted to create a high, user account should look like this:

The OS 6, it will not allow '15 level' which is the equivalent in OS 6?

    2. on a powerconnect switch, when you wanted to create a VLAN, it looked like:

There was a few syntax changes in the newer operating system. I find the easiest way to find the difference is to look for the cli for similar commands guide.

  • Link to database using a different name

We moved four instances oracle from one server to another. Two of these Oracle1 and Oracle2 oracle instances had a link established between them.

When we moved changed them the host name. We have published all the configuration files and everything works fine.

However, the link was not working so we dropped it and try to recreate it. We dropped without a lot of research and hit an obstacle.

The link is Oracle2 of Oracle1. The local name on Oracle1 (link) is called RemoteDB. It must be different. Currently works in our prod environment and the names are different, so we know it works, we just don't know how. The DBA who put in place is no longer with us.

    Here's the SQL link:

    CREATE DATABASE LINK RemoteDB CONNECT TO RemoteUser IDENTIFIED BY RemotePassword USING 'Oracle2';

    When a desired query:

    SELECT * FROM DUAL@RemoteDB;

    You get this error message:

    Link  : "RemoteDB"
Error : ORA-02085: database link RemoteDB connects to Oracle2

We know that it works because it works in production, but may not understand the appropriate configuration settings or Create Database link syntax to reveal the name of link differs from the SID or Service name.

Disabling global_names is everywhere on the web, but does not feel good solution because it is not currently how our environments are configured.

No indication as to how this configuration or syntax works would be much appreciated.

    Thank you

    Shawn

If it turns out that in Oracle2, the global_names is false in our production environment. I must have been recorded in test when we look ahead.

We realized that the change in testing and our link now has the same behavior as the production.

Unfortunately, this put it on the radar for our security team. Even when you win - you lose!

Thanks to all of you to post a reply. They helped me be more informed if nothing else.
