Firefox showing users that Java is out of date

The latest version of Java on WIndows PC, is currently Java7 U51. Java8 was released in beta version. When you do a check in Firefox to check if your plugins are up to date, Firefow tells you that Java is obsolete. He wants that you upgrade to Java8. Summer in this way since the day Java8 was released in version Bate
It should not be. As long as Java8 is only Beta, the lates veriosn that can be referenced is Java7U51. Please correct.

Yes, sorry, it is a known problem and was displayed in the tracking system where different approaches are discussed bugs.

Due to change Firefox 29, a completely different system is developed in the audit plugin and based on what I read yesterday, who could be with the priority on various long-standing issues with the current plugin auditor.

  • My list of "Favorite" of Internet Explorer bookmarks disappeared; I can not find them - 'import of IE' that appear an out-of-date list of favorites... How to find

I tried all the options under all items 'Help' to find my missing Favorites ("Favorites") from IE, and nothing has worked. When I tried 'Import of IE', he loaded a list of Favorites at least a year. I can't find the current bookmarks that are stored in the folder "From Internet Explorer". When I click on the Favorites (Star) icon in the upper right corner, the menu no longer displays the option to select "from Internet Explorer". The only thing I have not tried is the "Restore" option available in the "library" under "Import and backup" window: I don't know which of the files listed is correct, and the instructions careful that whatever files are chosen now will replace the previous file. I don't want to accidentally erase all my stored Favorites (hundreds of them) and end up with only the bookmarks I saved just recently - I don't want to end up with a set of (old) Favorites obsolete.

You can find the entry menu import into the Manager of bookmarks (library)

If you can't find the IE Favorites in the folder ("Internet Explorer") or have problems with import favorites IE in Firefox, then export favorites in Internet Explorer to a HTML file and import this file in the Firefox Bookmarks Manager.

This way also preserve you a sort that you did with the Favorites in Internet Explorer and the Favorites don't end up in a folder "from Internet Explorer", but will be added at the end of the file Menu bookmarks.

If you don't have the menu bar in Internet Explorer, and then right-click on the toolbar above to activate the menu bar.

    • Export Favorites in Internet Explorer to a file (bookmarks.html) HTML: file > import and export
    • Import the HTML file in Firefox: bookmarks > show all bookmarks > import and backup > import HTML: from a file

  • Firefox 38.0.1 8 45 out of date addon java reports

Linux CentOS 7 Firefox put just to 38.0.1.

I just noticed that the addon of Java is reported that obsolete to 8 45 which is apparently the latest version available.

This may be the case for some time that I have not checked lately, while the two things cannot be connected.

    TIA

Maybe... Oracle has 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Java. You need a plugin that matches your 32-bit or 64-bit Firefox, or Firefox won't use it. If the installation program that you used before does not update, you may need to make a second download:

  • Adobe Acrobat plug of keeps showing that is out of date, even after the update or reinstall.

Other users have reported similar problems. My particular case: Running Firefox - date (42.0) - Windows 7 (as so far). Firefox has constantly watch the Adobe Acrobat Reader plug-in is not up-to-date. I tried to update and reinstalled Acrobat. I just had request Acrobat update which has been a success and also updated to Firefox. Firefox still has reports that Acrobat is obsolete. Firefox reports that the current add-on is 15.9.20069.28170, but clicking on update now button on the Add you check page contains links to a page of Adobe update with the version number 2015.009.20069. When I search (Google) for the latest version, I've reached a page that lists all versions, updates, etc.. The latest version is 2015.009.20069. According to the Panel, the version of Adobe Acrobat Reader is installed on the computer is 15.009.20077!

As far as I can tell it's working properly, updated regularly. I don't know where the 28170 number comes from or why page Add on reports that Acrobat is out of date, unless the version update of the Acrobat Reader software is not actually update the Add On from Firefox portion.

    Any suggestion or comment?

My suggestion is to ignore the information from the website of checker plugin and use the built-in functionality of Adobe to check updates. In your DC of Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat DC:

Help menu > check for updates

While the site checker plugin uses data provided by Adobe, there seems to be some discrepancies between the program and the version number of plugin that have not yet been resolved.

  • Is there a way to disable Firefox from telling me that Adobe Flash Player is out of date?

We run a program that does not allow students to update programs or make other changes. The problem is that Firefox thinks that it NEED to update Flash Player whenever there is a new version. You can disable the blocking of modules in Firefox and remove the file blocklist.xml in the profile folder.

How can I fix this automatically return?
    Please let me know!

    It is not possible.

Do you use the back button to return to a previous page?

You receive an alert to send POST data if you return to a page or refresh a page that was requested in advance from the server by submitting form via a (hidden) MESSAGE form data.
Firefox can only make sure to get the same page send this POST form.
Firefox doesn't know what it means shape data, so Firefox asks for confirmation before sending the form data so action can you take to repeat an action and buy another article or post a message once.
One way to prevent this pop-up on the removal of the POST data is not to use the back button, but to open the links on a page that is requested from a server by sending a form with the date of the POST in a new tab (window) with a middle click or hold down the CTRL key and click the link.
Then you can close the tab or window to go back.

You can open the topic: config page through the address bar just like you open a Web site.

If all general.useragent prefs are "BOLD" (user set) then right-click this pref and select reset.

  • Firefox/Mozilla agree that Linus is as good as Windows, or better?

I fed up with Windows always change things. I read about the use of Linus operating system & Firefox works well with it. However, I would like to know what Mozilla thinks of the Linux operating system. I used Windows 98 Excel to develop my system of bookkeeping and don't want to do all these forms repeatedly. Need help and thinking of change of Linus operating system. I know that Mozilla is the best and will tell me if I make a bad decision.

These articles describe how to change your home page:

If you click the Home button or press Ctrl + n to start a new window, change work?

If the problems persist, some potential diagnoses and remedies:

If Firefox will not let you change this setting: you can have what is called SearchProtect on your system. This must be removed the control panel.

Firefox if allows you to save your changes, but he doesn't know: one of your extensions may be the substitution of her. You can consult, disable and/or remove extensions on page modules. Either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a (Mac: command + shift + a)
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Then, take a critical look on the list on the right and turn off (or remove) something unknown.

If the modification works during your session, but during the next startup is return to the unwanted page: you could have a user.js file in your personal settings Firefox (your Firefox profile folder). This is a file of optional parameters that Firefox is trying to start and uses to override your preferences since the previous session. Unless you have created this file, it may contains settings of an add-on or external software. You can check and delete the file by following the steps in this article: How to fix preferences that will not save.

Note: by default, Windows hides the .js extension. To work with files as accurately as possible, I suggest showing all file extensions. This Microsoft support article has the steps: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/wi.../show-hide-file-name-extensions.

    Hi supporter,

I often watch news of the Version of my firefox on my mac
My security bulletin told me that there is a new version and so I tried to start the hollow of the update of the window "On Firefox" and download the new update. There is a little bug (?) because the info on shows that this (37.0.2) is the latest Version and on the www.mozilla.org/firefox site, I see that I need to download the latest version (38) a.
