DataPump with different time zone files

Hello

I'm trying to import a schema with datapump to a 12 c in oracle 11.2 instance oracle instance. I got an error cause different time zone files. 11.2 is on version 14 and 12 c is on version 18. So I tried to import a single table, make a new export with that one table (table got no timestamp with time zone column data type) and exported. That has worked well. So I modified my schema export to exclude these tables with columns with data type timestatmp with time zone. When you try to import this new dump, it still does not for the same reason.

So, to import a table worked, but import a schema failed. Does anyone have a suggestion for me, how can I import this discharge? And no, I can't install a patch with the new zone files.

I could solve it myself, had to exclude more tables, not only those with timestamp with time zone, but also excluded arrays with data like AQ types $ _ %.

    This will depend on when you switch to the different time zone.  Will travel you East or West?

    • If you are traveling to the West and extend the day, pass the watch to the new time zone, before midnight the previous zone.
    • If you are traveling from the East and the day is shortened, switch back to the previous zone, the day before that I sup, if you need complete rings.

    I posted my results for the purpose of 'stand' here: How to extend the day after midnight to complete activities and close the rings

    If you wish to extend your day past midnight to close the activity temporarily put rings the time zone to time zone more West.  Change the time zone by midnight. Now, you can use the overtime that the timezone is offset from your usual time zone to complement the missing activities.

    I tested again on a long distance flight, where the time zone to destination is shifted 8 hours than my home timezone.

    As you can see, watch OS 2.1 may give credit for activities for more than 24 hours if change you the time zone.

    At 17:00, the watch already showed that 25 hours of 'Beneficiary', more than a day.

    And with the 8hrs offset in my regular zone I could have accumulated 30 stand hours in work a day of:

    If you wish to extend your day to complete the activities in this way, do not forget to set the time zone before going to sleep, or you may forget the next day that the watch is a few hours off the coast. I'd wait to set the zone time back until after receiving the message that all tasks have been completed for the day and set the timezone to the correct time after the next hour.

    «Date entered stressed attribute value sysdate to element P111000_TARGET_DATE does not YYYYMMDDHH24MI, format DD-MON-YYYY HH24 TZR.»

  • timestamp with local time zone

    Hello
    I created a table as follows:

    create table timetest
    (date of col1,
    timestamp col2,
    COL3 timestamp with time zone,
    COL4 timestamp with local time zone.
    year apart col5 in the month,
    day apart col6 in the second
    )

    inserted a line like:
    insert into timetest values (sysdate, sysdate, sysdate, sysdate, 13-11' year to month INTERVAL,
    ('13 2:59:59.111233' INTERVAL DAY (2) second (6))

    When I select * from timetest
    I have found no difference between col2 and col4, I mean timestamp and timestamp with local time zone.
    Please tell me the difference between these two.

    thnx in advance

    TIMESTAMP WITH LOCAL TIME ZONE:-always displays the date stored in the local time zone setting i.e. According to the session's time zone setting.
    TIMESTAMP WITH time ZONE:-it will always displays the values stored regardless of the settings of the session.

    Instead of insert sysdate insert localtimestamp and systimestamp into your table.
    insert into values tab (SYSTIMESTAMP, SYSTIMESTAMP);

    insert into tab (LOCALTIMESTAMP, LOCALTIMESTAMP) values;

    Then you must define the different session time zone as the time zone database. I have change the zone session affecting different database.

    SQL > alter session set time_zone = "-03: 00 ';"
    Modified session.

    SQL > select dbtimezone, sessiontimezone double;
    DBTIMEZONE SESSIONTIMEZONE
    ---------- ----------------
    -07:00 - 03:00

    To select it and see the difference.

    Hello experts,

    I have a problem:
    When I create a new table of advanced queue that is the time zone standard + 00:00 in the SYSTEM. AQ$ _QUEUE_TABLES.
    When I queue a message to the QA enq_time differences of two hours with the sysdate. This is because we have a zone schedule + 02:00.

    I have a few questions related to the issues:

    1. is there a setting to create a QA with the time zone correct offset(+02:00)?
    2. when I update the QA system. AQ$ _QUEUE_TABLES with the time zone correct offset(+02:00) to restart database, nothing happens. The zone is still + 00:00.

    Yes, it's the bug that is supposed to be fixed in 11.2.0.1, if people are still problems in this area to this version or later then this should be raised with Support from Oracle.

  • time zone - with unknown time zone

    I am able to run it:

    Select current_timestamp to the time zone "America/Los Angeles.
    of the double

    My problem is that the zone, which in this case is ' American/of Los Angeles', does not know until the moment of execution. So I want to replace it with a bind variable or pl/sql. When I do this:

    Select current_timestamp to the zone: tz
    of the double

    I get "Keyword not found". Any ideas?

    Thank you.

    If you do this in PL/SQL, you don't have to select the double at all - you could do something like

    declare
      v_ts   TIMESTAMP WITH TIME ZONE;
      v_tz   VARCHAR2(30);
    begin
      v_tz := 'American/Los_Angeles';
      v_ts := CURRENT_TIMESTAMP AT TIME ZONE v_tz;
    end;
    /

    Alternatively, in SQL, if you si vous Enroulez wrap the bind variable in an NVL function you can either give a default zone valid or invalid according to how you want it behaves on no entry:

    select current_timestamp at time zone NVL(:TZ,'American/Los_Angeles') from dual;

  • When moving in different time zones, how to keep timely events?

    When I put an event in PST at the exact time in which it will happen and then change the time zone, the event moves to another time. I have not shot time zones. Some events move and others keep time. How can I get all the events to keep time?

    Events are created in the time zone that the Mac is currently defined in support of regardless of the time zone setting. When you change the time zone of the Mac, the events will appear to change the time since they will now display the event in the current time zone.

    Allowing the use of zone:

    • Adds a dropdown in the toolbar menu. You use the menu to change the time zone in which include all events. For example, an event for 12:00 Pacific time is shown at 7: 00 GMT.
    • Also allows you to set the time zone for each event. For example, if you set an event at 7: 00 GMT and then choose Pacific Time in the drop-down list in the toolbar, this event is posted at 12:00
  • Writing of signals with different sampling to file rate

    Hi all.

    I have a somewhat periodic signal, each cycle having his inerference S.A max, min, mean, RMS ect.

    I like to write * ALL * these data to a single file, with a scale of absolute time, where the cycle data will be stamped with the maximum of the cycle time.

    cycle data columns must be empty at the time as the time of the signal peak value.

    Who's asking 2 questions:

    1. can I build a 'waveform' with a not constant sampling rate where I just stamp each data point arbitrarily? This will help me to get the result I want?

    2. is there a better way to convince labview to write data of the cycle next to the signal, with time stamp correct?

    An example is attached.

    Thanks for the tips...

    10 x Heuter, your example is useful - the problem is resolved.

  • Catalogs with different types of files

    My wife and I travel with one each, and my computer has a larger hard drive.  These last vacation, I downloaded all the pictures we have taken each day on my computer and then converted all RAW photos in JPEG format. She was then able to import the JPEG images in LR on his computer and make the selection of the image, Keywords, etc. (no module to develop work).  I want to now use the catalog, she created but on my computer so that we can work on RAW images to edit.  IS there no way to export the catalog of his computer, import it to mine, and then make the point to appropriate RAW images (the names of the images are the same, the only difference is the file type)?

    For Lr, JPEG and RAW files separate pictures, there is therefore no way to have Lr to associate the raws of jpeg metadata, for example it won't renovate your raws with metadata jpeg of your wife, another a pair at a time, I mean.

    That said, there are ways to synchronize the metadata and/or development settings (all at once), if you are ready to use a plugin, or are sufficiently savvy to develop a batch process of exiftool to do.

    Example plugins:

    * RawPlusJpeg

    * RelativeAntics

    * Syncomatic

    They are easily found via Internet search.

  • Actually an ESX cluster with different times may have problems?

    Hello

    Recently, I hired a company to install a cluster EXES 3.5.

    After leaving, I discovered that the two machines, ESX1 and ESX2 have hours different (about 12 hours difference). The company said that it is impossible that the two machines have the same time, because I don't have a time server on the LAN.

    I am facing many problems with the cluster.

    Some of the machine should ocupy 100 GB and 200 GB are using (I have no pictures of this machines)

    When my VM SAP jumps from ESX1 to ESX2 services down

    The VCB does not detect the majority of virtual machines and I can't see them on BE 12

    The problem of cluster could be related?

    Thanks in advance,

    Luis Estevens

    You really do need get guests in sync. As has already been noted SAP (or any database system) will not be as if all of a sudden she is 12 hours in the future or the past.

    If you do not have an internal time server (there are a couple of freeware NTP servers that run on Windows) you can use an external time source. I use pool.ntp.org (http://www.pool.ntp.org/en/use.html) it is a great service they have around l 'Robing' between the time sources. For this he both ESX hosts should be able to make outbound connections to port 123 (NTP) UDP.

  • Two different running loops one after another with different time intervals

    Hello

    I am currently using LabVIEW 2013. I'm new to LabVIEW.

    I take 10 values to data acquisition during the 9-10 sec time interval within a period of 10 seconds.

    I thought runs two loops. 1st loop will run for 9seconds out giving zero and the second loop will launch with 1 second left taking all the required 10 values. can someone help me in this way to do it. If you can suggest me any other idea.

    Thank you.

    Your task of data acquisition is to take 10 samples in 1 second (I assume that you also spaced).  10 samples/s = sampling frequency of 10 Hz (Hz = events/second).  To configure DAQmx tasks, MAX is your friend.  Open MAX, find your device (plugged in), open a panel of Test and find a way to let him taste at 10 Hz and collect 10 samples.  Test to see if it works.  Get it now to save as task.

    Now, when you configure your block diagram, drop a DAQmx Start Task (or even read DAQ) and wire an empty constant to the task in.  See the little arrow for menu drop-down?  If you click on it, one of the choices should be the task DAQ, you just saved.  Select that and it will work.

    Now, all you have to do is wait 9 seconds before acquiriing your 10 points.  There are functions of synchronization that can allow you to do this.

  • Analog outputs with different time scales

    I use products AO of a card PCI-6731 for an application scan head and I have some difficulties to achieve peak performance, that I need. I am contolling the map with nidaqmx drivers in c ++

    Basically, an output controls scanning in the direction Y (which is a line of scanning and is very fast) and the other in the X (increment once per scan line, so much slower). The complication is that both exits start at an external trigger, because positioning is synchronized to a separate data acquisition card.

    Now, what I do is:

    -write the scanline for 0 output waveform

    -set output 1 to a given position

    -say next Trigger output card

    -hangs at the end and stop tasks

    What I really want to do, it is just tell him to start with on each external trigger output waveform of scanline 0 and output 1 increment to the next position. So I could do a complete 2D scanner with a minimum of control software.

    Any ideas on how I could best achieve this? My understanding of the nidaqmx drivers I don't see an elegant way to do it.

    I could potentially do some operations on the done callback, although it makes me a little nervous because the control PC running windows, it is not a real-time operating system.

    Hmm I do not know exactly but there are a couple of things (it is close)...

    The output frequency of meter in your example 5 MHz (20 MHz, 2 high ticks, weak 2 ticks), which is faster than holders 6731 for a sample clock.  I thought that this would have given a material error... are you looking for errors once the task runs (for example using DAQmxIsTaskDone)?.  There is a DAQmxCreateCOPulseChanFreq if you want to set the clock frequency directly (it will use the appropriate default internal time base).

    The task of counter generates 1000 pulses per trigger, is what determines the number of samples generated by the trigger (I assume that you want it to be 1024 aka "numSamples").

    The analog output task must either use:

    (1) calendar continuous if the output will repeat indefinitely as several triggers are acquired.

    (2) finishes pitch (N * numSamples) samples where N is the number of lines that you want to exit and numSamples is the number of samples per line.  In this case, the task will end once the lines were triggered.

    Best regards
