Date of calculation and formatting

I have a text box DeliveryDate Date/time format with binding the value Data Format 'DATE' and all models of the value'D MMMM YYYY' (which should result in January 5, 2015, etc.).  Dates are picked up through the drop down.

I have a field floating as lateduedate as text, no set of models.

I'm trying to take DeliveryDate and add 30 days and the result fill LateDueDate.

In the case of exit of DeliveryDate (using FormCalc) I have the following:

EVI_Contract.EVI_Main.PaymentTerms.LateDueDate.FormattedValue = Num2Date (Date2Num ($.rawValue, "MMMM D, YYYY" "") + 30);

XFA. Layout.relayout ();

By using different combinations of Num2Date and Date2Num, I was able to get the function works on the months with short names, i.e. may 1, 2015 will properly fill LateDueDate with 31 May 2015.  Results from January 1, 2015 to January 1, 1900 - which I admit is a formatting error - but for the life of me I can't find how to fix it.  I tried all combinations of Num2Date (Date2Num ($.rawValue, "D MMMM, YYYY") + 30); I can think of, including Num2Date (Date2Num ($.rawValue, "D MMMM, YYYYY") + 30, "D MMMM, YYYY") and Num2Date (Date2Num ($.rawValue + 30) etc )

Thanks in advance!

It worked for me:

DateField2.formattedValue = Num2Date (Date2Num ($.formattedValue, "MMMM D, YYYY" "") + 30, "MMMM D, YYYY")

  • Label and Format data binding work when running in JDev, but not deployment...

    Hello world:

    We run JDeveloper 10.1.3.42.70
    JHeadstart 10.1.3.2.51
    Our Oracle 10 g database is.

    I've been shooting some modifications of an existing Web page. Changes in which I remove an element of the page, or remove a box, this works fine running within JDeveloper (execution ViewController right-click menu arrow) and in the later deployment.

    But what I feel is anything in EO/VO data links - such as the format of a digital or a label behave differently when running in JDEV, then running deployed.

    When I change a label, or in a digital format in the folder of the local editor control tips entity/View, then run the application using the 'performance' within JDeveloper arrow, the changes appear as I expect.

    But I deploy this application, then run and formats and the old labels appear, but the new withdrawal of parts or elements is such that I wait for him. The new formats of labels / is displayed when the server is restarted. I'm testing if we can bounce the app, or bounce the container, but I wonder why these properties of the editor view/entity control Hint may not behave in the same way as other changes (deletion of point or region).

    I tried the model of cleaning & rebuild each time. I tried to clean the ViewController and rebuild each time. I closed my browser and deleted all the cache, then re-opened to make sure that I didn't put one old cached.

    After searching this forum, I tried the check from the "Bind prompt element to ADF BC control indication"Label text? '" under Tools - Preferences - settings of Jheadstart. Who hasn't made a difference.

    I do not understand why these changes form appearing when I run inside the JDEV app, but not when I deploy this application until the server is stopped. I hope certainly that I did not restart the server whenever I want to re - deploy.

    Does anyone have any suggestions? To try to understand what is happening here, I would also like to know where the text is generated when I make a change to a format or label. I can find references to the link in several files, for example ("#{bindings.") PersonLastName.label}'), but where is the actual location of the file that contains the label of 'Name' that I put in the entity control tips Editor folder in the "Text of the label" box?

    Is there a setting on the server? Is there something else I'm supposed to do?

    I appreciate any assistance.

    Mary,

    As long as the app server JAVA virtual machine is running, the adf business components are not reloaded. There is no mechanism for reloading available for business components on a JAVA virtual machine running. So, I'm afraid you will have to continue to restart the server. This also occurs when you run the application in JDev. She always starts a new OC4J instance, that's why you see the changes immediately JDev.

  • Scan of the file: path/data not in the format specified in double

    Can you get it someone please let me know why it does not work?

    It's just a piece of sample code, to write data in a txt file and then read it.

    First, if a file already exists when I want to write in it and I chose 'Replace the file', he says stop and double track.

    Second, if I write a new file, it says: error 85: Scan failed. The input string does not contain data in the expected format.

    EDIT: see post.

    Just for reference, I solved it by using the match VI pattern in a loop and then using the table of indexes for individual values.

  • Dates in SelectBox and a report querying return does not

    Hi all

    I'm fighting a bit with this one... I can see what is the problem, but the solution has me confused... (and I'm sure it's a simple...)

    APEX 4.2 on XE... The SUMMIT also has a version. Application of test/test ORACLE.COM Workspace VRS 291 page 7 connection.

    I try to query for a report based on the date of registration.

    The date on the table is of type DATE, and when the file is loaded its cargo directly from sysdate (and on the test on the APEX is simply an Insert into values of payments (ID, CREATED_DATE) (1, SYSDATE)

    I then create a selection list where I want to create a list of dates of the table, so the query is:

    Select distinct (to_char(created_date,'DD-MON-YY')) c1, c2 to_char(created_date,'DD-MON-YY') of payments

    It gives me a list of dates in the select list.

    Then I do a query on the report:

    Select

    "CREATED_DATE."

    "ID".

    of #OWNER #. PAYMENTS

    where created_date = to_date(:P7_SELECT_DATE,'DD-MON-YY')

    to get back the date, then pull it out...

    However, there is no so...    Ive tried all the combinations of to_char, to_date, etc...

    My assumption that the to_char on the selection list select bands the value down to the element of date only to the format character and the to_date on the request he turns his back in a date format...

    On my system, I realized that the time element is a factor. If I insert the date in the system as to_date (to_char(sysdate,'DD-MON-YY'),'DD - MON - YY') then everything works... (as likely Ive undress the time element.  (Which would be OK, but I want as well to the time element for any other purpose.)

    Also, if its related or contributing to I don't know, but it seems to select on the old records of the table...  When I restart the session and select an older date, they show up to... which is a little strange...

    When I looked at the content of the table (by unloading a txt file), some records is loaded with a time and others do not... They are all however, loaded with sysdate. Here is an example... (first column is the ID... some are loaded without time. other time.)

    1629, 2014-05 - 30 T 00: 00:00

    1630, 2014-05 - 30 T 00: 00:00

    1631, 2014-05 - 30 T 00: 00:00

    1632, 2014-05 - 30 T 00: 00:00

    1633, 2014-05 - 30 T 00: 00:00

    1634, 2014-05 - 30 T 00: 00:00

    1635, 2014-05 - 30 T 16: 14:17

    1636, 2014-05 - 30 T 16: 14:17

    1637, 2014-05 - 30 T 16: 14:17

    1638, 2014-05 - 30 T 16: 14:17

    Finally, I have one - show all - on the selectlist too. If I show everything, then update the record in the report (form tab) and set the date with the date picker, it seems also then to query OK when I update...

    ID be grateful if someone could help...

    Rgds

    Richard

    Hi Richard,

    Find out what I did with your application.  I changed the WHERE clause to:

    where created_date between to_date(:P7_SELECT_DATE,'DD-MON-YY') and to_date(:P7_SELECT_DATE,'DD-MON-YY') + .99999

    If I understand your condition, you select a day from the drop-down and you want to see the entries for that day.  Because you use a DATE data type, you want to check your created_date covers the full day.  You can do this in ajoutant.99999 (5 nine) to date.  It is the maximum resolution of a day without going over for the next day.  That means that you cover from 00:00:00 to 11:59:59 pm

    Does that help?  Or I read too quickly?

    I guess I have to explain that when you make an equal (=), which is the DATE must be exactly equal all the way at the same time.

    The other way to handle this is to truncate the time:

    When trunc (created_date) = to_date (: P7_SELECT_DATE, 'DD-MON-YY')

    Then both sides are identical with a time "anchored" in midnight 00:00:00

    Thank you

  • Min Date with 12 hour format

    Dear friends,

    I'm working on a query... I have the date field... I want my date field date min show but also it must show in am / pm format.

    now when I am using the following query shows the date min perfectly, but it shows the date in 24-hour format because I use 24-hour format.

    (select min (to_char (date, "MM/DD/RRRR HH24 double:MI:SS')).))

    but when I apply 12 hours in shape its been not indicating the date of min

    (select min (to_char(date,'MM/DD/RRRR HH24:MI:SS am ')) of the double.

    Help, please... and kindly let me know the reason for this

    You do not MIN date, you MIN of the chain.
    Put the MIN inside your TO_CHAR:

    to_char(min(date),'MM/DD/RRRR HH:MI:SS am ')

    In general: almost always is the outermost TO_CHAR function called, so that the inside work all work on dates, and then the to_char is just to format the result as a string.

    either may 16, 11 14.06.53.530405000)

    who is missing on the 3rd line of the previous dataset (if everything goes well in fat after validation) and assigns the wrong time end.

    I think the solution may have soemthing to do using the function dense_rank() (any ORDER by code, start) but I'm not too familiar with it and I think that the facts in the Start column data is unique it affects its functioning.

    If anyone can offer any help or point me in the right direction I'll offer eternal grace and rest a drink we should never meet!

    see you soon

  • Date arithmetic: how to format the result to hh24:mi:ss then subtract 2 dates

    Hello
    I need to subtract two dates and formatting the result in the hh24:mi:ss format.

    for example
    Select to_number (to_date ('03.08.2009 08:10:30 ',' JJ.)) MM YYYY HH24:MI:SS')-to_date ('03.08.2009 08:06:52 ',' JJ.) MM YYYY HH24:MI:SS')) * 1440 as DiffDate
    of the double

    DiffDate
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
    3,63333333333333333333333333333333333312

    Multiplication with 1440 returns the result in a few minutes. But I want to format the result (3,63333) in the hh24:mi:ss format. Is there an easy way to convert
    the result of number in the date format?

    Any help will be appreciated...

    Rgds
    JH

    Hello

    Subtracting two DATEs always results in a NUMBER.
    You can use the NUMTODSINTERVAL function to convert the NUMBER into a string more or less like the results you want:

    NUMTODSINTERVAL (to_date('03.08.2009 08:10:30', 'DD.MM.YYYY HH24:MI:SS') - to_date('03.08.2009 08:06:52', 'DD.MM.YYYY HH24:MI:SS')
                    , 'DAY'
                    )

    Using SUBSTR and perhaps other string manipulation functions, turn this into exacltly what you want:

    SELECT  LTRIM ( SUBSTR ( NUMTODSINTERVAL ( TO_DATE ( '03.08.2009 08:10:30'
                                                        , 'DD.MM.YYYY HH24:MI:SS'
                                       ) - TO_DATE ( '03.08.2009 08:06:52'
                                                        , 'DD.MM.YYYY HH24:MI:SS'
                                                )
                                    , 'DAY'
                                    )
                         , 2
                         , 18
                   )
              , '0'
               )     AS hms_dif
    FROM    dual;

  • Bug during import of calculation and the point of application

    Hello

    I created a component export file which contains, among other things, a part of the application and a calculation of the claim on this point. Looking at the export file, this is the order of events:

    +...+
    Create calculations of the application
    Create the application point
    +...+

    However, when I import this file in our test environment, the point of application is created but not calculated. In fact, if I create the calculation manually and re - import the file, the calculation is actually deleted! However, if I change the import file and to reverse the order of events:

    +...+
    Create the application point
    Create calculations of the application
    +...+

    .. .it works very well. Is this a known bug?

    I use Apex 3.0 on Oracle 10 g btw.

    Thank you!
    Luis

    Luis - I filed a bug for the problem of calculation/pos. The problem is that a trgger on wwv_flow_items removes the corresponding calculations and the way in which the element is replaced is to remove it first and then re-create.

    The last date of update for components is not very reliable on this report. I wouldn't want to ignore them.

  • You can search a pattern and format the result.

    Hello
    I seek a function that search sequences and formats the output 1-way.
    I tried to do this with regular expressions, but could not succeed.

    My look of entry (projects codes) like this: EL10000, E10010RR, E10020ER.

    Project codes get a different format in the new year:

    EL10000 becomes 10000L 009 or EL patternwise ~ becomes ~ L009 where ~ is a number (10)
    E ~ RR becomes ~ R009 where ~ is a number (10)
    E ~ ER becomes ~ SBC9 where ~ is a number (10)

    Is this possible with regexp_replace in 1 statement or just need I build a function?

    Thanks in advance
    Auke Quist

    There is probably a better way...

    with x as
    (select 'EL10000' proj from dual union all
     select 'E10010RR' from dual union all
     select 'E10020ER' from dual
    )
     -- End of Sample data
    select proj
         , case
             when proj like 'EL%'
             then  substr (proj, 3)||'L009'
             when proj like 'E%RR'
             then regexp_substr (proj, '[[:digit:]]+')||'R009'
             when proj like 'E%ER'
             then regexp_substr (proj, '[[:digit:]]+')||'SBC9'
          end new_proj

  • use of iPhone time data system Services and location

    Since last month, data use under Services system-> time and place has increased "substantially." It's pretty evenly half my data use, whatever I do. I have not added new applications or use the phone differently I have in the previous months.

    I use a tracking, human application, but even if I turn off mobile data for her and use of data in the time and the place continues to be half of my mobile data.

    How can I start troubleshooting? I have read the discussions here and off mobile data and background update and synchronization for most things. This has reduced the use of the data, of course, but the time and the place continues to be half of my data.

    I'm on a 1 GB plan, that was a lot, now I close out maxxing when I don't care.

    Hi branches,

    Thanks for checking out the Apple Support and communities for the detailed information of what is happening with your data in time and place. I can understand wanting to make sure that you are able to easily manage your usage data and wanting to know which application is causing this additional use.

    Since you have already completed these steps, I recommend you to disable the location Services for all of your applications, and then turning them back on one or two at a time, as needed, to help determine what applications likely to use your location. You can disable the location for applications and services system with these steps.

    Enable or disable location Services. Go to settings > privacy > location Services. You can turn it off for some or for all applications and services. If you disable location Services, you are prompted to activate again the next time, that a service or application attempts to use it.

    Disable the location Services for system services. Several system services, such as the calibration of the compass with geolocation of ads, using location Services. To see their status, activate them or disable, or display the location Services icon in the status bar when these services use your location, go to settings > privacy > location Services > System Services.

    You can find the steps listed above in the iPhone user guide.

    All my data have doubled and the lines are slightly compensation and overlapping. Unusable. How to restore the distorted view course content?

    Hello Arnold,.

    A screenshot of the upper-left corner of your document could help the issue. Include as much as in the example below.

    If this section of the table does not display data "doubled and shifted", provide a second screenshot of a section of the same size, showing a sample of the data in question.

    Kind regards
