dates imported in tables EBS12

Hi all
I have 3 tables with dates and 3 forms to insert new dates in tables and update
Theres 1000 documents on each table.
Is it possible to import this tables with dates and forms with integration/implementation to date in
EBS 12? (I also have the dump file)
Gordan

Yes, you can and there should be no restrictions. I understand that you have customized tables, and it should be OK to import these tables.

    I found a post related to this error, but did not respond.

    I know I'm missing something, gurus please help me to overcome this error.

    ~ Thank you

    I managed to overcome this problem,

    This was caused due to an error in the map of the time.

    In the mapping of source, the name of period should be defined exactly as displayed in the EBS.

    for example: {EBS--> OCT - 14} FDMEE {mapping source--> OCT - 14}

    The names of the time must be identical.

  • import data into the table with the triggers of the sequence

    Hello

    I'm on oracle 11G on OS SPARC.

    I need to import a table from a dump using "imp."

    At the destination table where I have to import a 'insert before' with the sequence as the primary key.

    Suppose if I am importing data that has the sequence from 200... then when I imported the data into the new table, I have to define the sequence to be the same as the boot sequence for the source or it will automatically use this source sequence.

  • The fastest way to import data for large tables

    Hi friends,

    I recently joined a billing product put up a team for TELECOM giant. Under the procedure of installation/initial tests, we have huge data (size of almost 1.5 billion records / ~ 200 GB of data) in some tables. Currently I use impdp to import. It takes a long time (almost > 9 hours to load these data).

    I tried the ways below to import the data (all of these tables is partitioned):
    1. normal impdp (single thread that is, parallel = 1): it takes a long time (> 24 hours).
    2. normal impdp but partition-wise. It was completed in relatively less amout of time compared to the 1st method.
    3 fall drop the index, framed adding another scheme in the same forum that includes data, and then recreate the index (whole process takes about 9 hours)

    My questions at all:
    1. is there any other way/trick in the book that I can try to put the data in less time
    2. what I pointed out that even if I give parallel = 8 or more, sometimes parallel workers are laid and sometimes not. Can someone tell me why?
    3. How can I come to know (before running the impdp) that my parallel article will spawn parallel workers or not. As to how I will come to find out, I searched this topic but without success.

    I don't know what strategy to follow, because it is an involved and repetitive task for me. Because of the task above, I am not able to focus on other DBA tasks because of what comes to me.

    See you soon,.

    assuming that you have a table with 3 clues, then create a script for each index (reblace index_name_n with your index name) and start them at the same time, after the importation of the table is complete

    DUMPFILE= or NETWORK_LINK=
    DIRECTORY=DATA_PUMP_DIR
    LOGFILE=
    CONTENT=ALL
    PARALLEL=1
    JOB_NAME=IMP_
    INCLUDE=TABLE_EXPORT/TABLE/INDEX:"IN('')"
    TABLES=.

    Change the following settings when importing:
    increase pga_aggregate_target
    increase db_writer_processes
    db_block_checking = false
    db_block_checksum = false

    the value undo and temporary ts autoextend
    Set noarchivelogmode
    create logs of restoration of 4 GB

  • Import excel data in oracle tables

    Hello gurus,
    Importing excel data in oracle tables...

    I know it's the most common question on the wire... First, I searched the forum, I found lots of threads with loading data using sqlloader, excellent in conversion. Txt, file delimited by tabs, file .csv etc...

    Finally, I was totally confused in terms of how to get there...

    Here's wat I
       - Excel file on local computer.
       - i have laod data into dev environment tables(So no risk involved, but want to try something simple)
       - Oracle version 11.1.0.7
       - Sqlplus and toad (editors)

    Here's wat I want to do... .i don't know if its possible
        - Without going to unix server can i do everthing on local system by making use of oracle db and sqlplus or toad

    SQLLOADER could be an option... but I don't want to go the unix server to place files and newspapers and stuff.

    Wat will be the best option and the easiest to do? and wat format better convert excel csv or txt or tab delimited etc...

    If you suggest sqlloader, any example of code will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you very much!!!

    Hello

    Toad version 9.0.0.160, you can directly load data excel file (or any other specified) to table using the navigation "database > import > import the data in the table.
    You need to connect to the database, then go to the above navigation. Select the table, validation interval (i.e. commit after each record or once all records), map columns in excel file to your table and press ok.
    It loads data directly to your table.

    But, if you use characters multibyte (such as Chinese) in excel file you want to load, then you must make some settings in your machine.

    Don't know if its possible in another version of Toad.

    See the link, hope it will work.

    It is an old method, using the utl_file_dir parameter that is now obsolete and which is frankly a waste of space when external tables can do exactly the same thing much more easily.

  • Read xls file and display the data in the table.

    Hello

    Try to read the data from an xls or csv file and fill the same data in the table. If I need to use the table to store the data from the file and display, hoping that someone could help.

    Thank you

    Hari

    Hi hari,.

    One thing that is very important when you use the Excel activeX interface (in case you need it) is good termination of worksheet/workbook/lettering handles.

    You need these handles to specify what cell in which file you are trying to access.

    If you are unable to throw each handle you have, then you will be left with ghost Excel process in your task manager, devours your system's memory.

    Thus, when debugging of your application, open the Task Manager and the watch as Excel treats created/destroyed and make sure that you end up with zero Excel process running when your application is closed.

    Also consider the case of fault for your program. Check that your exit routes did not omit any termination of handle.

  • Leak memory in a simple loop to save data in the table?

    Hello world

    I'm trying to set up a simple code to read a certain amount of data in a table at a fixed sampling rate and put these data in a local variable.  I'll put this on one OR cRIO-9073 using the scanning engine and the data comes from one NOR 9208 with a speed of approximately 250 Hz scanning, even if it is not really important at the moment.

    I made this little test VI which I suspect contains a memory leak, but I'm not able to identify it.  The reason for my suspicion is that when I run the vi on a VMWare virtual machine (LabVIEW 2010 on Windows XP) it claims soon that it is short-term memory.  Of course, the problem is perhaps elsewhere, but I hope that someone more experienced with LabVIEW programming will be able to find all the bugs very easily because it is really a piece very simpel to code. :-)

    I have included a copy of the VI with a screenshot to illustrate.

    Regards, Martin

    PS my code looks a bit awkward, so if anyone has a better solution, I'd be very happy to learn about it!

    Hello Martin,

    I would try a different approach to your problem. Currently you reshape your table each iteration of the loop. This means that the allocator memory of LV must find a new piece of contiguous memory each iteration of the loop. You're probably fragment your memory and so short of contiguous blocks of memory, leading to the release of messages from memory.

    For these types of tasks, I recommend having an array of fixed size that you initialize outside the loop and then use the Replace table subset in the loop for updating the values. This avoids the problem of allocating memory you use in.

    Alternatively, since I assume that you use the local variable to pass data to another loop, you can use a FIFO RT to manage data. A RT FIFO resembles a queue of LV, but it is designed so that you can keep determinism in your application. Set up an acquisition loop that exports data from the 9208 every 4ms in a RT FIFO. Then set up your processing loop to run at a slower pace - say every 200ms. The processing loop reads all the elements of the FIFO until it is empty every 200ms or a number of samples. The RT FIFO is fixed size, if you need to make it large enough to contain at least 200/4 = 50 samples. For more security, you should do several times bigger, maybe 200 samples. You can try different sizes of the FIFO and also to the different periods of your processing loop to your application's specifications.

    Using this method you do not have to create a counter to track items, since the reading of FIFO function can tell you how many items is in the FIFO and also when it is empty.

    I recommend you the example of Communication of FIFO of RT which comes with LabVIEW to get an idea of how to use these functions.

  • IMPDP - loading data import process in the SYSTEM. ERR$ DPnnnnnnnn - is - this?

    ORA-39171: job knows a wait can be resumed.

    ORA-01653: unable to extend the SYSTEM table. ERR$ DP010704470001 by 8192 in the SYSTEM tablespace

    I searched this error message in the documentation and the web and MOS, but so far, came the voids.

    I know that the input data have some inside LOB columns, but I loaded previously in other schemas in the database.

    This entry dumpfile is a bit bigger than the previous ones, but I didn't think that would matter.

    The SYSTEM tablespace has currently 4 GB allocated that is obviously much larger than normally necessary.

    I tried to import metadata only, disabling all triggers because I thought they were the cause of the problem, and then loading the data, but the result was the same.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    -gary

    Hi Gary,.

    It's just a simple case of the execution of the SYSTEM tablespace out of room by the look of it - you must be

    (1) add more space

    (2) stop task and re - run as another user who does not have the default tablespace of the system

    I'm not 100% sure what the table is that datapump creates (it is not the normal main table which is quite small) but I think it's probably to be created (and full) If you use the skip_constrant_errors parameter that records all lines that could not be loaded because of violations of constraints - if it is a large amount of data, omitting the table would get large enough.

    See you soon,.

  • How to insert the data from the table file?

    I need to know that how can I insert data into multiple columns by file. I can simply insert data into a table of columns, but could not find a way to put the data in the column all.

    My data in a file store
    ************************************************text.txt***************
    133, nanny, nagina, 14 mph, 45637, 9156729863

    **************************************************************my_data(table)**********
    try to insert into table below...

    Name, ID, last_name, add, PIN. Mob

    *********************************************

    Let me know if you need anything else... :))

    Hey nanny.

    In fact, in SQL Developer, you can open a connection to the target schema, right-click on the Tables node in the Navigator tree, select import the data, then use the data import wizard. It is extremely flexible. Looks like you have a file of comma-separated variables, so if you select Format: csv and import method: Insert it will probably work fine.

    To minimize the risk of errors during import, choose a limit value of preview so that the wizard can review the data type and the size of all columns in several lines of data as possible, and then examine the size/type of data for each column on the next page of the wizard and replace if necessary. For date columns, it is also important to choose the appropriate format mask.

    Hope this helps,
    Gary

  • How to import some tables

    Hi all

    We have traditional export a scheme, having 100 tables, the index is partitioned 150, 2 functions, 1 view.
    the pattern size is 180 GB and on the windows platform oracle 10 g 2 version.
    When importing half the imported only objects. If import it back us, again it takes a lot of time to import the schema of the hole.
    now how we can import only the object remaining at the same time.
    Please let us know

    Thank you...

    "ignore = y" in the traditional import will ignore only the errors for creating objects - imp will still try to import the data in these tables, if they exist.

  • Impdp exclude data in some tables

    Hi all

    I have a doubt.

    I want to import database dump using impdp and I want to exclude data from several tables, but I want to load the metadata of these tables and their dependent objects. As far as I know, this can be done two ways:

    1. in impdp we used parameter CONTENT = METADATA_ONLY - but in this case it will be loaded only the metadata for all tables;
    2. I can use EXCLUDE = TABLE: parameter 'IN ("TABLE1", "TABLE2") '. But in this case if an object is excluded, all its dependent objects are also excluded - which is not what I want.

    Oracle version is 10.2.0.4.0.

    Did someone had a similar request?

    TNX,
    Smee

    For the tables that you do not want the data, add a query clause to the impdp command:

    username/password query Impdp ='table_name: "where rownum = 0" ' query = "table2:' where rownum = 0"' etc.

    This will load all the metadata and will load all the data for the tables with these query clauses.

    The quote may be a problem with single and double quotes, but is a good idea. You're better off if you can put these requests in a settings file, since you won't have to worry about escaping from the funny characters. Then you can just say

    Username/password Impdp parfile = my_par_file.par

    Thank you

  • How to import a table with the renamed name

    If I want to import a table from a DMP on UNIX to my user where I already have a new version, but I don't want to give up this new version, because I only move files from one to the other, is an import option for importing the table with another name? I want to say I want to import it on the same user, where there is already the MYTABLE table, an older version of MYTABLE by impoting with the new name MYTABLE_OLD, if eventually I can update MYTABLE with some of the old files of the old version MYTABLE_OLD. Is this possible?

    You can't do it directly.

    You can import the Table into a different schema, and then rename the table.
