• F:System RESERVE stole my album of David bowie!

  Normally, the "System Reserved" partition doesn't have a drive letter and therefore normally can't even see the "System reserved" partition in Windows Explorer, so something weird happens.

  Windows 7 has a built-in feature called the "Snipping Tool" which is very useful in the diagnosis of problems when you use an online forum.

• DAVID tail Drops

  We have a POS 155 Mbps circuit.

  There are tail drops that occur on the default class that is allocated 25% (38,75 Mbps). There is a part of the voice traffic, but it is the priority in queue and is not a problem. Other control classes also OK.

  But when I look at the overall use of the physical interface (155 Mbps), it isn't cluttered. It peaks at 40 percent during the opening hours - which most is the default class.

  It was my understanding that DAVID should not "kick in" unless there is congestion - such as defined by the WRED algorithm.

  "Congestion" here applies to the physical interface or is it worth the 25% allocated without traffic?

  If the tail drops are produced due to "congestion" on the class by default, what settings should I change - queue lengths or the bandwidth allocated by default?

  Here is the minimum and maximum thresholds that you have on the class by default WRED. That you run fast enough connection with many users, the traffic must be burst, and queue average of 20/40 packages is not enough!

  100M link I would say to have thresholds at least 200 to 300 packages (or even more) respectively; the size of the queue on 400-500.

  PS: forced to queue length just queues delay and buffers available; I guess in your case, only delay queues would come into play... up to 300 packs * 500 bytes * 10/150 M = 1/100 sec = 10 ms (in the worst cases).

  Problems with the update BACKUP AND RESTORATION of Dell to the new version of 1.9.0.22 on TWO Dell Inspiron 660's.  These two systems are 64-bit systems.  We're running Windows 8.1 (and no matter what we did will NOT update to Windows 10 even if this update tries many times per day and FAILS several times a day), and the other is already updated for Windows 10.

  On the 660 s Inspiron Windows 8.1, when I try to update this Dell Backup and Recovery, it shows the update "Download", then the window quickly just DISAPPEARS and the update is never installed.

  On the Windows 10 Inspiron 660 s, when I try to update the backup Dell and recovery, I click to install it and I get an error that says: "an error occurred during the process.  Learn more. "The wording"more"is a link and when I try to click on this link, it does nothing and goes nowhere.  Needless to say, I can't this update here, either.

  The versions running on both of the Inspiron is: 1.8.1.70.  I tried searching on the Dell Web site for backup of Dell and restoring c. 1.9.0.22 without success.  Would appreciate any you can provide help and thank you.

  You need to follow these steps to make DBaR works when upgrading to win 10 (provided by Dell-David F):

  • You must have 1 DBaR. 8. x.x running before winning 10 update.
    Update DBaR until you get to 1.8.x.x.
  • You must then refresh DBaR 1.8.x.x before upgrading to win 10. This update will update only the components 'updater' to raise awareness of the State of the OS app.  That is why it is a very quick update.  It closes right when it's done it's why there may be some confusion.  You may think that you update all DBaR to 1.9 when in reality it is only a preliminary update of a small portion of code.
  • Once this operation is complete, you can move on to Win 10.
  • Once upgraded to Win 10, you will receive another notification of updated for 1.9 DBaR.  This comprehensive update will be fully compatible with Win 10 DBaR.
  • You cannot update DBaR 1.9 before Win 10 upgrade.

  If DBaR 1.9.xx stops working after the installation of Win 10, you can download and install it directly from this link.

  Thanks for reporting your problem. We had the chance to look into your question.

  The voice that you mentioned is the default voice Windows 8.1. With the target operating system (win 8), you can select a voice as the system default and even TTS voice translated into Captivate9.  To change the voice by default, you can follow these steps-

  1) go to control panel.

  (2) open the speech recognition dialog box.

  3) click the text-to-speech option and the speech properties dialog box should open.

  (4) to select the default voice change and the same is for TTS in Captivate9.

  For more flexibility and dynamic use of the voice in your project, you can always go ahead and download the voices of Captivate_9 by clicking on the download link available in the management of the speech in captivate9 dialog box.

• Install the Extension with Davide Barranca Installation Script

  Davide Barranca has created a javascript that circumvents Adobe Extension Manager and allows you to create a script that installs extensions, scripts, ect. GO HERE for her.

  My question is, I have two panels I want to install with a script. Davide script lets only a Panel must be installed with the script. Is there a way to have an another javascript executed the first extension of js script and then run the second script extension, so two install scripts are installed with a js script.

  to work around the problem, you can duplicate the installer.jsx/ASSETS folder and let the first installer.jsx call the second installer after he is done with the first round table, something like:

  $.evalFile(File($.fileName).path + "/installer2.jsx");
  

  This would basically follow the two installation programs (not very elegant I know!)

  In addition, you can take a look at the beautiful project of Max Penson here: Zxp Installer which is basically its own version native and open source Adobe Extension Manager (incorporation of the Adobe ExManCmd command line utility that has not been abandoned as the GUI version).

  For those living in a cave in the last week, Adobe Extension Manager no longer stand, CC2015, etc. etc. (see: HTML Panel advice #17: CC2015 Survival Guide |) Photoshop, etc.)

  ZXP installer works perfectly, unless you screwed up the ExMan database with the CC one app (I get screwed two and it was a majestic PITA for three days).

  Soon, Adobe killed the extensions Manager, transplanting its nucleus in the CC app + the ExManCmd utility, both based on the same data - Max uses the ExManCmd under the hood of its native application.

  Myself, I spent so many hours did the customer for the extensions Manager, which I personally prefer to use something different now - at least I can blame myself in case something is not :-), but it's just a matter of personal preference.

  In order to track the problem, I created a new site on my MacBook Air running Mountain Lion and followed the steps in the tutorial, using a new download of the files. Everything worked exactly as planned.

  After finishing, I checked the version of Dreamweaver CS6. It turned out to be the original 12.0. I tried to apply the update 12.03, but could not. So, I uninstalled and downloaded again CS6. However, because I have a subscription to creative cloud, when I have updated the program, he maintained at 12.2.

  In I think JDev 11.1.3 a new af:popup property has been introduced: chiildCreation which can be set to 'deferred '. This property with the property deferred workflow link prevents loading of taskflows displayed in a box inside a pop-up window on the initial page load.

  It is an alternative to the technique of David so that's why the bosses is discouraged.

  The difference however is that, once the popup is open the taskflow is responsible and will remain loaded, consumes resources.
  If you want to release these resources again when you close the pop-up window, you can use the activation on the taskflow binding property. Bind this property to a Boolean property in a managed bean and the value of this property to true when the pop-up window is opened and set it to false when the popup window is closed.
