Dbms_scheduler OEM question

I use 11.2.0.2 on AIX 7.1 and I have a question regarding the retention period of the newspapers for newspapers in dbms_scheduler within OEM.

We use OEM 10.2.0.5.
Go to your database and then click on 'server', then click on "global attributes".
This will bring up the page Scheduler global attributes.
By default, the history of newspaper has 30 days (retention period in days for jobs and Windows logs).

Now, if back us to our "Server" tab and click on "Jobs", then click on history, we see that we have job logs that are much older than 30 days.

Why is there a base of more than 30 days?

THX...

It is by default but the automatic use of certain jobs a category of different jobs for which number of days is great:

SQL> select job_class_name, log_history, comments
  2 from dba_scheduler_job_classes c
  3  where log_history is not null;

JOB_CLASS_NAME LOG_HISTORY COMMENTS

ORA$AT_JCMED_SQ 1000000 sql tuning advisor

9 rows selected.

You can view the logs of related job more than 30 days with:

select log_date, job_name, job_class
from dba_scheduler_job_log
where job_class in (select job_class_name from dba_scheduler_job_classes where log_history is not null)
and log_date < sysdate - 30
order by log_date;

  • dbms_scheduler: next_run_date questions...

    Hello guys,.

I created a JOB at 23:56:18.0 2011-02-15, using the script below.
    Start
    () dbms_scheduler.create_job
    job_name = > 'TestJoB.
    , job_type = > 'PLSQL_BLOCK '.
    , job_action = > ' start / * / end; »
    , start_date = > SYSDATE
    , repeat_interval = > ' FREQ = DAILY; BYHOUR = 06; BYMINUTE = 15; BYSECOND = 0'
    enabled = > TRUE);
    end;

According to above script, use must turn Feb 16, 06:15.

    When I checked the table dba_scheduler_jobs, next_run_date column shows 2011-2-17 6.15.0.700000000 GMT.

can someone tell me what the problem is... and how to fix it.
    Thank you

  • Conditions of the retail of Windows XP Professional and license and decal OEM COA / label question:

Hello everyone and especially lawyers license!

It's pretty obvious (applying common sense) that a single license is a single Installation, no matter if Windows XP, Vista or 7, or OEM or retail.

    However...

    Question 1:
Is that the only true, firmer and more correct to do statement?
""Windows XP Professional OEM license dies with your computer / caisse".

    Question 2:
I have two DELL computers. One is with Windows XP Professional OEM (Dell) and the other with Windows Vista Business OEM (Dell). I would like to swap/Exchange two licenses COA stickers (if it's physically possible) and simply change the Microsoft Windows operating system on these two computers. From what I understand at this time - and please correct me if I'm wrong - Microsoft Licensing policy said it is legally impossible. True? Fake?

    Question 3:
This question is about the "decommissioning" of Windows Vista business to Windows XP Professional. I'm OK with my understanding that there are some licenses of Windows Vista Business out there that can be legally retired, and some who cannot?
How do I determine by looking at just the Windows Vista Business OEM COA sticker, if it is a license that can legally be downgraded or not?
If it can be downgraded, can I license Windows Vista Business COST just the installation of Windows XP Professional key, when asked to enter?

Thank YOU ALL for your expertise and your help!

    Hello

Question 1: "Windows XP Professional OEM license dies with your computer / caisse"-c' is licensed OEM is NOT transferable to another machine and once your dies of PC/LAptop, then the license dies with him.

Question 2: You cannot exchange an OEM license of any computer to another. This includes exchanging the COA from one device to another, making of this ould invalidate your license, as the certificate of authenticity shall be kept with the license provided with the original machine.

Question 3: Downgrade rights allow you to get off at analogues for the same edition of vista, IE company from Vista to XP Pro, you cannot downgrade from Vista to XP Pro home.

hope that answers all your questions.

Second question: the second computer to my home has Asus 845 chipset motherboard, processor 2.26 GHz celeron. I fixed my motherboard twice for swollen capacitors. • Question about the installation of XP with an OEM disc and using the number of CoA HP

    Hello

I have a DC5100SFF that I bought refurbished last year, and it came not with all drives. It comes with windows XP pro and has the CoA sticker with the activation code.  It also has "HP" written on it.

I thought to wipe the hard drive and reinstall XP Pro in the near future.  I have an an OEM Windows XP Pro disc, but it is not specific to HP. The CoA sticker has been removed from the new drive (and the package is not open), but there is nothing on the packaging to indicate what OEM brand (its likely it was another popular provider).

My question is, if I install XP from this disc, he on my machine can use the number on the certificate of authenticity to activate it, or do I need to use a specific disc HP XP Pro?

    Thank you

    Hello:

David is correct. You don't have the product key if you use recovery discs.

However, I believe that you can still get the recovery disc for your Business from HP desktop PC.

Just dial 1-800-334-5144 and inform the representative of customer services that you need a set of quick restore CD.

You will need to provide the model number and serial number.

    A game costs $10.00.

As for your other question... If someone has already used the product key XP pro on the sticker on your PC, you can use any disk XP Pro OEM installation and enter the product key.

I do it all the time. I used OEM Dell on HP PC disks. Never had a problem.

  • Windows 7 OEM license Question

My brothers and I built a gaming PC, and I have a question of a Windows 7 operating system license, we bought. In 2014, we bought an OEM Windows 7 on Ebay that came as a Dell reinstallation DVD and an OEM unused license key (which worked correctly). We have installed on our PC, but we did not activate the BONE to what we decided to upgrade to windows 10 via free update of Microsoft.

However, due to the terms of the OEM Windows 7 license, I wonder if it was legal to put our BONES and our key on our PC. Therefore, I have a few questions:

1 using the OEM key on our legal machine?

    2. have you upgraded to Windows 10 change the legality of our BONES?

3 Microsoft authorizes the actions that I took to install an OEM operating system, or should I buy a retail OS to be fair to them?

You noted that you bought a Dell OEM disc reinstall Windows 7.

This OEM disk is specifically for DELL systems. If it has not been installed on a Dell computer with a sticker accompanying COA with this special edition, the license is non-compliant.

It is not eligible the system for the free update to Windows 10.

  • Question about Dell OEM: SLP Windows 7 Installation disk domestic; can it be installed and activated on other computers from Dell?

I bought a Dell installation disk and I want to use it to install a better version of Windows on my Dell PC. I have windows Vista and I want to use it to update my OS Windows7 Home Premium. However, the license type is SLP:OEM and no detail... not sure what SLP: OEM means... I thought that the OS discs are the same. Someone told me no retail editions are not suitable for a new OS, but I'm confused. The disc says, Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit, but didn't holograms who have all MS OS disks and the disk is labeled for use with a Dell system only, if the means it will work very well on my Dell PC? The label does not which brand or model this disc is for, but said only for the Dell PC which is my PC. I'm assuming, the disk won't work on all Dells, maybe someone can offer suggestions, any help is much appreciated. Thank you!

I have a few other questions about Windows 7, can I ask you about this on your Web site? Do not know how to contact you on your website. I can see other people responding to your articles, but that's all. I thought that maybe their might be a forum to post a question... Thank you for everything.

  • question of dbms_Scheduler

    11.2.0.4

I have a very simple solution to this question, but I was wondering if someone came up with a solution to the issue.

I can add a job with an expression of calendar which runs 15 and 45 minutes after to say 7 and 08:00 hours.    FREQ = all days; BYHOUR = 7, byminute 8 = 15, 45; BYSECOND = 0

What happens if I want it to run at 7:15 only and 08:45?   Is it possible to put in the same work?  Is it easy to create a second job to do the same thing?  Very easy.  I wonder if there is a clever solution to do the same job.

    Hello

I don't know if understand well your question, but please...

Read the following doco in the section which includes schedules

    https://docs.Oracle.com/CD/B28359_01/AppDev.111/b28419/d_sched.htm

Is there a way where you can create several calendars with different times, then you can combined or joined to have several stamps in time for the same job.

In create annex statement, you can use the INCLUDE parameter.

    See the example:

    BEGIN dbms_scheduler.create_schedule ('embed_sched', repeat_interval => ' FREQ = YEAR;) BYDATE = 0130, 0220, 0725'); dbms_scheduler.create_schedule ('main_sched', repeat_interval => ' FREQ = MONTHLY;) INTERVAL = 2; BYMONTHDAY = 15; BYHOUR = 9, 17; INCLUDE = embed_sched'); END; /

When you create the task you set the main parameter of Planner create_job Planner.

If I do not understand your question please tell me.

    Kind regards

  • Adobe Acrobat (OEM/bundled?) questions

We have several old Dell PC that has Adobe Acrobat 6-8, which is installed by Dell (I guess that's a style OEM license).  But in reading the EULA, I can't find any mention of OEM or whatever it is.  Is it really copies OEM?  We received the actual CD of Acrobat with computers.  As we begin to decomission these older machines, we have two questions-

1 can we install these copies of Acrobat on recent PC, or are they really OEM and stick with the machine which is now aging outdoor and unnecessary, and

    2. can we use these licenses as a basis for upgrade licenses to Acrobat X on new machines?

    Thank you.

As far as I know, there is a difference in the number of computers , you can install it, or the possibility to move from one system to the other...

Regarding the second question, you're probably fine, but only Customer Support Adobe could answer with certainty.

Worst case, you can order upgrades and then if they do not work for any reason that you might just make it under 30 days refund policyof Adobe.

  • Envy 15-j000 Quad ed: Windows 8 recovery USB and series Win8 OEM BIOS. question

Hello. IM currently living in South Korea and had to format my laptop.

Ive lost my usb backup and was about to order the recovery usb kit but its only for USA / Canada with more than $50 price tag

I remember when I did the format with my usb kit,

I have not enter windows cd - key, so im guessing if it was the BIOS on product key

Is there a way to confirm this? while I don't have to order the recovery kit.

and I only need to download the OEM of Windows 8 in line with the formatting?

    Hello:

If your laptop comes with the W8 then the OEM key is in the BIOS.

You can try the W8 file from this link and make your own regular W8 installation disc.

It is supposed to work with OEM product key in the BIOS of your PC.

  • XP question: reuse an OEM license

I was given a ten-year-old PC, which originally had an OEM of XP version on it. I was necessary to erase the disc, so I'm starting again. I have a Microsoft genuine XP disc I bought when it was new and a MSDN XP SP3 of the school record. I tried one of them (I don't remember which) to install XP using the OEM license, but the validation failed, I guess because I wasn't using an OEM disk. I'm not trying to cheat Microsoft because I am trying to reinstall an OEM on the original PC license (I didn't know that Microsoft cared more XP). Windows expects a genuine OEM disc to use?

Yes, I know that XP is old and is no longer supported. It is a laboratory machine for transferring files from IDE drives.

Do a new installation CD/media set you have a tour in an OEM one...
