So sorry to bother you, but I was not able to reach my people in service at Dell. As indicated, I own an Inspiron 537 desktop computer. It came with an Intel processor, which, I understand that Intel, was published by Dell before my purchase. It is for this reason that they honour not any guarantees, etc..  Anyway, I need a new graphics card, a strong enough for me to run Cinema 4 d (currently Cup when I go on several screens), and not too much that it would burn my disc.

  • replace the graphics card for HP omni 27

I bought the HP omni 27 AIO a few months before and wonder if I could replace my mxm3.0 with the more powerful discrete graphics, one because of the game card. For everything else, this PC is good enough.

Here are the specs of my HP omni 27 PC AIO: 27 "screen, CPU intel i5 3570 3.4 GHZ (Ivy Bridge), nvidia geforce GT 630 MXM3.0a 2 GB DDR3 graphics card discrete, 8 GB of DDR3 RAM,! TB 7200 HDD, lavaca pegatron motherboard.

What are discrete graphics cards you would sugest to me and where is possible to buy?  I recently found a descrete MXM type b graphics card to the e - bay store, but I'm not sure if it fits into my PC regarding the specifications of dimensions and the heat/watts. It's the card nvidia geforce gtx 670 m type mxm3.0 b that has max 75 wats in comparison to nvidia geforce gt 630 m who has 37wats max. This card would be compatible with my system, and if so, my system would be able to handle more heat from him? If this isn't the case, could you recommend me other compatible cards for my above (HP Omni 27) system. I appreciate your help.

According to the specifications, the system has an MXM Type A slot and the card must be less than 35W (I suspect that even a 35W would work as less that is not very common).  It also lists the GT630M as an option on actions for the system.  Other maps of Type A that meet the requirements of power should work as well.

The Type of HP GT630 a card is listed here.  It seems to no longer be available at HP.  It seems that it is available on Amazon.  It is a direct seller's Amazon page.  Based on part number, it can be found on eBay as well.  One thing I noticed in my search for this particular card, is that nobody seems to have an image.  I recommend you contact the vendor to verify that this is a card of Type MXM need 35W of power.

  • MacBook Pro 2014 - failure of the graphics card for the 2nd time in 2 years - no guarantee

    Hi all

end of 2014, I bought a new 13 inch Retina Display MacBook Pro mid 2014 model (A1502, EMC2875). A few months later, the graphics card has failed - no obvious reason. Apple replaced. Now, the graphics card has not yet. Still, the mac worked perfectly well (no overheating of the noise, nothing) and all of a sudden - no understandable reason or external actions, the graphics card has failed. Unfortunately, I do not have a guarantee of more. At least, I can access my documents by connecting two Macs, so I hope that the material is not affected.

My model (1502) apparently only has a single integrated graphics processor.

    My questions:

    • After some research, I discovered that Apple used to have these problems with the 2011 edition. They have implemented a replacement program. Does anyone know sth on this subject?
    • What graphics card would you recommend? How much such a graphics card? Where could I buy a cheap?

Of course, I don't want to reuse the same type - guess I don't have to explain how @* #&! I'm after two times the same problem within two years after the purchase of a brand new MacBook Pro...

I would appreciate any recommendations and links!

    Best regards

    Rahel

-As you say, your Mac model uses the graphics processor integrated in the CPU chip. So, there are ios no replacement possible. The CPU is soldered to the logic board

-The problem with the 2011 MacBook Pro was with the discreet Nvidia, not the graphics unit integrated in the CPU graphics unit.

-When you went to an Apple store just says the genius of APple?

This is the Office Mac Pro forum. I asked that your post be moved to the MacBook Pro laptop.

  • Satellite A100-207: is it possible to update the graphics card for games

    Hello

I am looking to buy the laptop Toshiba A100-207 and it comes with 128 MB shared graphics.

I would like to play games and I was wondering if I could update the graphics (for example, a nvidia card I could buy and put in) or the fixed graphics?

I just want to know if I am able to upgrade?

    Thank you

    Hello

In my opinion the graphics card or processor is not welded on the new generation of mobile phones. The parts must be simply plugged into the card.
But this does not change the status of the upgrade.
Eventually, you will be able to remove the graphics card but I m sure that you will have problems of compatibility with other hardware.

Fastest graphics card produces more heat and the temperature will automatically increase to a higher level. This would lead to overheating in the question and the laptop would be either closed or not starts.
PC desktop technology is simply different as on laptops. You can also compare different graphics cards. Laptop factory uses only graphics card chips what don t supports a clean cooling module.

It simply says s not possible to update the graphics card.

    Hi mate

I doubt that you can replace only the graphics chip
In most cases, the graphics card is part of the motherboard.
Of course some chips are not soldered and could be removed, but these are special chips and match only with these special commissions.

As far as I know you can order all the compatible parts of an ASP in local, but I think it will be not possible to order only a standalone graphics chip but the whole motherboard for P100.
Nevertheless, it is worth to ask guys in your country

    Thank you

Ladungan, Yes, you can switch to a dedicated PCI Express x 16 video card.  However, there are three considerations.  First is the power of the power supply (PSU) and the second is the size of the map.  You can determine the power of the PSU in opening the case and by reading the label on.  You can determine the size of the required map by taking measures in the space provided.  Open the case.  Measure from the edge of the case to the opposite side of the motherboard where the PCI Express slot.  It's the approximate card that fits.  In addition, many new cards are double profile (two locations).  These can present problems of space.  Thirdly, it must ensure that the power supply has the connectors appropriate for the video card.  Some require more power.  In this case, you probably need the power supply.  It costs somewhere around $100.

If you like help to choose which card you would work, let us know.  With the power of the PSU, we can make that determination.

  • HP pavilion e073ed 17: you can replace the graphics card for hp pavilion 17e073ed

I have a HP pavilion 17e073 ed and I want to replace with a better graphics card. The problem is that I can't find anywhere if I can replace the graphics card. I want to replace it for the best benefits of games. I already bought an SSD and some more RAM.

    Hello:

There is no graphics removable, replaceable and upgradable 'cards' in your laptop.

The graphics quite part of the motherboard, and to improve the graphics, you would have to see if there is a motherboard listed in the guide service and maintenance for your laptop that has better graphics.

Replace the motherboard would be a labor intensive and expensive project.

    Hello:

Graphics cards cannot be updated simply.

You will need to replace the motherboard with another which would have better graphics (if available for your model).

This would cost as much buying a new laptop, so it is probably not a good idea to undertake such a venture.

  • Can I reactivate my Windows 7 if I change the graphics card for the second time?

    Hello

I have Windows 7 Home Premium (OEM) on my computer.

    (1) I've changed my memory (RAM) from 3 GB to 4 GB in 2011.

    (2) I installed a graphics Geforce GT 610 in 2013 to replace the integrated graphics card Intel G41 chipset.

And now, 2015, I want to replace the graphics card to a Geforce GT 730.

Will I need to reactivate Windows after that?

Also, I would like to know if this is considered as 2 (RAM and graphics card) or 3 changes (RAM and graphics 2 times).

No, this is not a radical change to justify the reactivation.

    Gomaster,

ATI recommends a minimum of a power of 400 watts for video cards Radeon HD 4xxx series.

I have recommended video cards which take about the same with a power of 300 watts peak power, but then the recommended video card manufacturer only a minimum of a 300 Watt power supply.

Look at the NVIDIA GT 430.  It's a faster card compared to the Radeon 4650.  The NVIDIA GT 430 is rated for a 300 Watt power supply.

It is interesting that the 4650 Radeon and NVIDIA 430 take about the same peak power still ATI recommends a 400 watt verses of power supply a power of 300 watts for the NVIDIA card.
