Deactivation of ThinPrint

Hi all

I have a recurring problem with printers mounted by ThinPrint. Basically, the main issue I have is that whenever the local printer is mounted it restores the color gray scale settings even if printers are put coloring on the local computer. I also have a problem with ThinPrint constantly affecting the printer it's going up by default rather than leaving the default value set manually.

I tried to find a way to work around these problems, but I have yet to find a solution successfully. I thought to do was disable ThinPrint for users who are majorly involved in the questions above. I checked online and the following keys of regs are thrown around ThinPrint deactivation:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VMware, Inc. \VMware VDM\Client\RDP Settings\ RedirectPrinters = false

HKLM\SOFTWARE\thinPrint\TPAutoConnect\ConnectToClient = DISABLED

I' worm tried these keys and they do not seem to work. Does anyone know what that keys to change in 4.6 to disable ThinPrint and if you have any ideas on the above two problems then please let me know.

What if the manual ThinPrint services.   If some users want to use ThinPrint you can create a type of bat file that will launch services for them.   Just to have this file available bat for them and tell them to run every time that thinprint is necessary.

ThinPrint printers get created every time you start a virtual machine using this feature?  Is it possible to determine why they occasionally will be created?

I ask because one of the virtual machines that I use almost every day starts without printers ThinPrint being present.  I toggle the checkbox enabled in the virtual and restarted the VM machine settings pane, date at which the ThinPrint printers were present and functioning.  These happened a few times well over 150 or so starts the machine virtual is not a big deal, but just curious as to why they are not sometimes.

My environment is; MacBook Pro (Late 2007, 2.6 GHz, 4 GB RAM, Leopard 10.5.7 last patches), Fusion invited 2.0.4 is Windows XP SP3, the latest patches.

Overall, the feature works fine for me, just these very intermittent issues in an environment that is generally very stable.

I've stopped and started the AutoConnect Service TP WoodyZ suggested and all printers TP refreshed on the client, including those that missed me.

The thing I told the other day was also when this happens there is no Viewer indicator to indicate there had been or if there was a problem and I'm not only just after the start or restart, but giving sufficient time for all startup items have been processed and things moved while the system should be fully operational and ready to go but the activation/deactivation of the AutoConnect Service TP was what I found to be the thing the easier and faster to work whenever the printers were not listed properly.

This episode also answered a question, I had some time ago, why my TP printers seemed always loose there by default when the virtual machine has been stopped and restarted.  Since they are being recreated each time you start the virtual machine, the previous settings are get wiped out.

This certainly makes the scene and it has been for a long time since I did the tests I did, but it lead me to believe the they get listed as other printers installed manually in order to validate the status online/offline however he was included in the tests they were to be replaced at each start/restart and I do not oppose them listed , but I object to their crash.  (Though as I mentioned previously I do not regularly use this function even if I know why make you)

  • Activation deactivation iCloud, photo sharing

On my iPhone I have iCloud library & My Photo off steam but iCloud Photo Sharing turned on.  To be honest, I don't know how iCloud Photo Sharing turned on - I do not use it.  I would like to disable now iCloud, photo sharing and return to the way it was with my own storage original iPhone.  When I go to disable the button from iCloud on my iPhone photo sharing it says that it will remove pictures of Commons of my camera (which is now all the photos I have on my iPhone).  My question is, is this really the case? Can't I just go back to the way (I think) is on the device before icloud, photo sharing has been enabled?

It must just be better worded. It references only the shared albums as separate from your actual film association. It removes nothing of your camera by activating / deactivating it turned off.

  • NoScript installed accidentally, cannot get rid of it and JavaScript has been deactivated, even though it says that it is enabled - help!

I accidentally installed NoScript when you try to remove the ads/pop-ups. Now it is at the origin of the problems on sites that I use regularly and I can't get rid of it. It does not appear on the Tools/Add-ons so I can disable and JavaScript has been deactivated, even though it shows as "Enabled".

    Help would be appreciated.

It has never worked exactly as ghostery has never worked all that I get is not the extensions plugins

  • Is deactivation of an element in the device enough Manager to avoid performance problems?

In Device Manager, I show two entries that have an open red on them when x. One is called Intel 537EP Modem and the other multimedia Audio Controller. The element of this second icon is a yellow question mark. Both are disabled in the properties. Deactivation is enough to remove them from the list of things THAT XP tries to start or load when I boot? I have a slow start; about 4.5 minutes. I don't know what is the modem. I use a USB wireless to a router in the House that goes to a DSL connection. I didn't use a modem for dial-up days. And I don't know what this audio controller - I have a sound card Sound Blaster Audigy which works very well. I tried to look into the BIOS to see if there was an additional way for XP does not try to access these two elements x'd, but could not find either.

The 537EP is a voice / fax modem I think and the audio system may be integrated multimedia audio controller (because you use a soundblaster (which is a PCI/PCI-E card)? SoundBlaster island isn't on board / part of the motherboard?

Disable the audio system built into the BIOS. The only way to remove the entry of the modem in Device Manager, open the case and remove the modem

Double-click the modem entry, what is the error on the general tab?
