Dead in my laptop screen bugs.

It has been a month since I bought my HP Laptop 15 r-022tx. Now, there's a bug inside my screen lying there dead since the night of the yesterdat (25/08/2014) and it worries me now.

I tried to contact support, but they say that it is not covered by the warranty. First, he just cut the call abruptly. The second time, I had a denial of service under warranty, because it wasn't a "hardware failure".

I'm really angry at the response I got from them.

I had confidence on HP products and after a lot of research purchased this product and now I'm starting to feel there is much to be done in a service of quality from the company.

I seriously doubt if there are surprises more against insects inside the screen.

I hope will help to a replacement of the product, because I'm starting to feel that this laptop could have a manufacturing problem. Please guide me through if I can really get this removed insect and hope that some no longer are back or should I go for the replacement of the product and how do I do?.

    I tried to return my video output to the screen of the laptop LCD without result. Here is what happened:

    I wanted to view some AVI files that I have on my HARD drive on my TV screen, so I thought I could extend my Windows desktop on the screen of the TV. However, after you check the box «Extend my Windows...» "and by clicking on apply, the tick would disappear and there is no output to the TV. So I assumed that it wouldn't work. I then later tonight then turned off the laptop. Don't start the next morning, there was no video output on the LCD screen of the laptop! Remembering the day before sentencing, I thought that the release would now my TV screen. So I plugged the S-video cable and video in fact all was now going to my TV. So I imagined that do the opposite, extend my desktop to the laptop screen, could solve the problem. Yet once the tick would disappear when I clicked on apply. Since this is what happened the night before, I thought that a restart would fix it. After the reboot, the video was still running the S-video port. Now, I'm stumped! So I decided to connect an external VGA port monitor and enough curiously, video was present there as well. But I still could not extend my desktop to the internal lcd screen. By pressing FN + F8 to switch between CRT and LCD did not help either!

    Can you get it someone please let me know what I should do to fix the problem? I don't think that the LCD is dead because the reboot there is a small Flash of light on the screen lcd laptop but nothing else after that!

    Yes and no.

    Not as long as the computer and the components are designed to best suite with eachother. So manufacturers will not support using incompatible parts if custamization is accepted.

    Yes because there are technicians who can mix and match components but the combination must look and regular maintenance. I would not advise this as it can be found in failutes and questions.

    Workaround would be to buy a monitor (ecternal) HD and plug it in. There are n number of options in the HD monitor of your choice.

    The port monitor - where you can connect with the composite cable can be used to display video from your digital camcorder, video game or VCR on the internal LCD screen. It can be used as a line-in port to allow the connection of a stereo device for audio input.

    In my opinion, you also need this cable to connect the Xbox to the Qosmio with composite cable plug-in software component.

    I am looking to replace a laptop screen, after have successfully replaced a keyboard HP 15.

    I have a problem with the main connector, it does not lock in place, and I don't see any tabs or any type of output. I replaced the screen with the latest issue of replacement suggested screens.

    Y at - there a trick to this? I'm a major cyber security, but no connection...

  • Laptop screen turns off during a rotation to 90 degrees. OK, less than 90.

    The laptop screen will be empty to a blank screen when the screen is rotated about 90 degrres or more. (a ususal viewing angle)  If the sc reen turned 30 degrees, the laptop works very well and the screen is fine. Unfortuantely I can't work with the screen almost completely closed.  Microcenter computer says it is the logic board but the problem seems so mechanical in nature.  MAchine works fine otherwise. Logic board of expensive repair for a 4 year old laptop. Any suggestions or ideas.

    Who knows what have you that your screen is white?
    My screen is not white it shows everything correctly.

    The same white screen will appear on the external monitor?
    If so, then this problem may be related to faulty graphics card, if no, your laptop computer s display can be defective

    I've been a loyal user of HP consumer level laptop for 2 years.

    It seems that there is a problem with my laptop screen display.

    For my part, this is the first time this kind of problem has occurred.

    For some reason, in my current (well, now its my last) session, my screen became totally blank on me and turned black, as if the laptop was in a sort out of power status, however, the power of the laptop was always and until the issue has suddenly decided to occur before my eyes , I had been using the laptop and was even working on a coding operating... some of you may know me as the creator of the heavenly System.ini Crown Configuration file.

    Apparently, it is a known issue with HP Laptop, and I don't know if HP is actively focusing on the question of setting so that it does not become an inconvenience to other users of HP laptops or buyers.

    Is there a known solution as to how to fix this kind of problem? This is very critical and I was in the middle of the tent to save the rest of my code in Notepad on my desk, but I would speculate that asides from the 2 files I could save, the rest would have gone unless I would be able to resume my last session which I highly doubt at this stage.

    If someone could please let me know as soon as possible, I would appreciate it a lot.

    The interal screen replacement is a little tricky because you have to remove a lot of. You should remove a lot of parts and screws, and for that, you should have a little experience with it.
    An ASP can help you to do this and be able to order this part and exchange it or take you a look on ebay.

    Normally, you can switch between monitors with FN + F5.

    It's not easy to say what can be the problem.
    Well, first of all, I would recommend to recover the OS with the recovery CD. If after this procedure, the problem persists then you should try to update the display driver. If this doesn't help, so I guess that it s something wrong with the hardware. In this case, you should ask for help ASP.
