Debugging a viewer customized with Safari

I try to use Safari-tools to debug the custom viewer/showcase, I currently build, but it does not work. I read that it should be possible to do?

I activated the "Web Inspector" - option in IOS but Safari gives me that "no inspectable requests '." I'm running an iPad with ios 7.1.1 OSX with Safari 7.0.3 10.9.2. What Miss me?

Finally, after the upgrade to the Mavericks, I was able to run it again. I could never work with v6.1.x to 10.8.

Impossible to debug UIWebview with Safari 9.1

Recently updated to El Capitan 10.11.4, it comes with Safari 9.1. Now, I'm unable to debug UIWebview on iOS Simulator (tested on 9.2 iOS and iOS 8.4. both don't work). In the setting of safari Simulator are as follows. Inspector Web is running, JavaScript is activated. Website fraud warning is DISABLED. In Safari for Mac menu develop appear, the entrance of Simulator appear when the Simulator was launched but only show JSContext. The UIWebview embedded in our application does not appear in the submenu of the Simulator. All the web pages in safari iOS does not appear as well. Is there a setting that I missed? It worked before the upgrade to 10.11.4

If you are a developer, you cannot act as a user.

This means that you need to test the Apple software throughout each cycle of beta. You need to do this test on a complete ecosystem "burner" - iOS devices, Mac, Apple ID dedicated to the beta test. Along the way, so something that you develop breaks in all of this, you will be able to report a bug to Apple and to develop an alternative solution in case Apple releases with the bug.

Event Viewer displays customized with source Wininit

After trying to create a view custom in the event viewer, one with the 'Wininit' source, in order to capture all the events, I noticed that even though the view is created successfully, it brings no results (i.e. empty) (Windows 7 64 bit with SP1 operating system). Think that the application log is not registration events Wininit, I tried to add a custom filter in the category 'Application' of events with the source "Wininit. The latter brings multiple results (mainly information and one caveat, I think)). If the events with the "Wininit" source are recorded in the category 'Application '.

How do you think should I proceed in the future, in order to troubleshoot further? I checked the filesystem with sfc/scannow nothing helps. Also I discovered that when I change the view custom to another source, for example 'Winlogon', the results appear under the view, with the selected source - 'Winlogon' now, to make it work as it should.

Finally and most importantly, I navigated to my registry key (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\eventlog\Application\Wininit) and saw the differences between the two (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\eventlog\Application\Wininit, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\eventlog\Application\Winlogon) without any ideas on how to proceed.

I assumed that it could be a matter of rights. So, I checked the security under the branches of two registry settings, and they are the same.

Now I'm out of ideas, and internet research helps not at all.

Please indicate something, because reinstalling Windows is not an option. Also, I checked this custom view (with source Wininit) in Windows 7 PCs of others (friends), and it works perfectly. What is the possible problem in my case?

View 6 with older software View customer?

I am running view 5.2 and I would switch to 6 reviews. However, for remote connections, we use Juniper SSL. If a computer has the latest version of the Client view, or the 2.x customer, they can not connect to their desktop computer. They receive the message
View Client is not installed on your computer. You will now be redirected to a location configured by the administrator to download and install the client.

On the VMware compatibility page, it shows that view 6 is compatible only with customers 2.2, 2.3 and 3.1
I know that these are "officially supported" clients, but will work the old 5.4 good customer with view 6?

It's funny, my problem is that every old version of the Client works with everything, which means there is no mechanism to direct users to newer versions or restrict which versions can be used to access our environment up-to-date. So, don't worry about it! Your users can continue to use any old version of the Client notice (for now) with any version of any OS (OS x or Windows) and will continue to work with any version of Horizon view. (5.0 +). I do not say that there is no quirks to use older versions of the client here and there, but on a weekly basis, we discover a user with one of the old installed 5.x customers and access our 6.0.1 environment.

Hoping that with 6.1 VMware will break something!

Try this:

Go to: Mac/HD/Library/Internet Plug-ins

Trash the files AdobePDFViewer.plugin and AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin

Empty the trash

Restart Safari. You can now download the PDFs intact.

DWT with Safari 4 alignment problem

Hi, it seems that since I placed a spry menu in models of the web site that I'm getting, it seems to face a problem of alignment with Safari 4, where the content of the current comic strip page is outside the div container and next to the layout of the site. This question doesn't seem to appear with other browsers, only Safari as it seem to appear in mode live view thus (I had thought originally it may have been a glitch)

The thing is I had used the model for other pages as a basis, we used this model before the spry and there is no problem. After I added the spry this questions do not have other models that have been made to this site, only the comic model has this problem. Here is the code for the comic.dwt model.

Just an estimate, but in your CSS for the div #content, helps if you add:

#content {clear: both ;}}

Also, probably unrelated, but your table just inside the #content div has a size of 200px in the HTML code and the content is obviously larger.

If you have not already done this, go step by step and test.

1 empty Caches

Safari > Preferences > advanced

Tick the box "Show develop menu in menu bar."

Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.

Click on develop and select 'Empty cache' in the menu dropdown.

Note: This will remove all the favicons.

2 remove the Cookies and test them.

Safari > Preferences > privacy > Cookies and other data from the website:

Click on the button 'manage Web site data '.

Delete all cookies.

3 Disable Extensions and test them.

Safari > Preferences > Extensions

Select Disable all extensions and test them.

Enable the Extensions one by one and test.

To uninstall any extension, select it and click the "Uninstall" button

Problems with Safari

I have an iPhone of Apple 6s. 9.3.5 iOS operating system. I looked into Safari and clicked on a Web site. Immediately a page came saying "alert Apple, Safari crashed" and then immediately taking me to an email as I would send saying I had to call a number, that I've not found on any of the websites Apple officials. The message also says my credit card and bank information was at risk. I had on my laptop that I am unable to do anything with safari on my iPhone now. I tried to call Apple's Support on the legitimate Web site but didn't know that they don't open until 07:00 in the morning. I have tried to go through Apple's online chat, but keep just have been brought back to a message saying that I need to call or put to have someone call me. If someone has had this problem and how it was resolved? I shut my phone down and back several times, but nothing has changed. For any info or suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!

Try to reset the settings of Safari:

1. open Safari

2. click on the Safari menu at the top (to the right of the Apple logo)

3. Select the Preferences/Privacy tab

4. click on remove all data from the Web site

5. close Safari.

Remove cache Safari files:

1. click on finder

2. look for the menu GO to top

3. click on GO and hold down the option key. This will show a user library folder.

4. click library and find the Caches folder

5. in the folder caches com.apple.Safari Ouvrezledossier

6. move the Cache.db file Trash.

This should solve the problem. If it does not help, try to disable the Safari extensions

1. open Safari

2. click on the Safari menu at the top (to the right of the Apple logo)

3. Select Preferences

4. find the Extensions tab

5 disable all extensions of

6. relaunch Safari

Problem with Safari

Whenever I use Safari (including YouTube) and opening pages, or even just scrolling of text or pages, Safari stops working. I can't click anywhere, I can't close the window, I can not CLICK at ALL! Do I have to do, therefore, is to right click on the safari icon, press "Quit". Then relaunch the application (losing all my windows) to make it work again. It happened more then 10 times in the last hour! While Safari is blocked, all other applications work without any problem. I type with Safari now, I'd be happy if I can get at the end of this post!

Force Quit Safari (command + option + ESC keys). Then restart Safari by holding down the SHIFT key.
