• Do not not opening EN SmartView report list

  I try to open the EN report from a task from the task list in SmartView (using the provider of planning). If I am already connected to my planning application in the browser, the report opens.   I created a few webforms on planning App 11.1.2.3 EPMA. When I try to open these forms using Smartview, I get this error "there are no valid column of data for this form. But I can open these forms in the Console of planning.

  Don't you have delete columns is enabled in SmartView? Try to remove suppress on columns and see if that helps.

• Excel copy / paste does not work with Smartview

  We have recently upgraded to the latest version and it's the first tiime we use Smartview. None of our users can use Excel copy / paste function between worksheets in a file or files. The function only works in an active worksheet. What is the fix here?

  Try this

  Turn off Transition formula evaluation and transition formula options.

  In Office 2003:
  1. tap on tools of-> Options...
  2. Select the Transition tab
  3 deselect the following entries:
  -The transition formula evaluation
  -Seizure of the formulas of transition
  4. click on OK
  5. repeat the above steps for each worksheet in the workbook, selecting each in turn and repeating steps 1 through 4.

  In Office 2007:
  1. tap on the Office button
  2. click on Excel Options
  3. Select Advanced (left) Options
  4. in the right pane, scroll down to the bottom
  5. under Lotus dethrone the compatibility settings, disable the option:
  -The transition formula evaluation
  -Seizure of the formulas of transition
  6. Select the following worksheet in the menu drop-down
  7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 until all the worksheets have been processed
  8. click on OK.

• Remove the hierarchy without affecting only not in Smart View

  I was wondering if someone was faced with the same question.

  We have an online form with all P & L SG & A accounts used for the planning session and we don't want any kind of indentation, and I'd rather flat. So, we used "delete the hierarchy", and it works perfectly in the workspace. But when we opened that in Smart View, it always shows the indentation in the rows.

  Is this a bug / it's just normal behavior / is because of the difference in the version for planning and smart view

• SV: Globalvariable not picked up size of the Page in the form of Composite data

  I have a form of composite data with simple data forms 2 tabs. Two data forms have 2 dimensions on their page.

  There is a calculation of the Manager rule is attached. It has two variables for the dimensions of the page.   Please try to fix the individual rule with simple shapes, which allows required options (performed on record etc), then in endearing '' to check and composite shape if that makes a difference.

  So for more than 11.1.2.3, the classic excel addin is missing.

  We create an Application Essbase in 11.1.1.3 and tries to use with the smartview 11.1.1.3, the drill up to formula functionality in a dynamic member with a formula. However, the option with smartview (even if it is there) is not selectable. We are trying to search through the documentation and forums and it say anywhere is not possible.   It is one of the elements that they work on parity. It is currently not available in Smartview. I think it will be in the next version. I find it interesting, I think that it is the method of drilling less I've ever used. If you really need to see the members who make up the formula, you can put the members as children of the Member and use unary operators (this can actually be faster than formulas)

• SmartView 11.1.1.3 - unable to connect the entire workbook

  With Smartview version 9, we had only connect once and the whole workbook would be connected. SmartView version 11, it seems that each individual worksheet must be connected separately.   I write a macro to browse the leaves, connect (or validate that it has a connection) and then submit.

  One thing I've found with the refresh everything is if you have a sheet which is not really a smartview discounting all the stops when it hits this sheet.

• Calculated hidden field when the field is empty

  It is actually similar to a discussion a few months ago. Our forms are designed to be completed online, printed and sent by electronic mail, by fax or snail - mail. Many times the customer will simply print the form and complete it by hand. When I create forms with calculations, the ' $' or '0.00' appear; This makes it difficult for a person filling out the form by hand to work around these symbols/numbers.   Make sure you use the correct quotation marks. Use quotation marks or single quotation marks, and not 4 single quotes.

  I installed a few cases of Smart View for my users, but that a user is faced with this problem.

  Symptoms

  In Excel 2003 Menu Hyperion is not available, even if the add-in is listed in the list of addins.
  Changes

  This can be triggered by an accident while working with the addin in Excel.
  Cause

  Due to a previous incident or problem, Excel has disabled the addin Smart View.

  There is an error 53 relating to HSaddin.dll enforcement.  If you try to use the toolbar directly from the addin dialog error indicates there is a problem of localization or open the HSaddin.dll.

  If SmartView is available on MS Word and works as expected, while the dll exists and works correctly.

  The problem with Excel locate or using the dll.  .

• atan2 in FPGA of point sets

  I use the function atan2(x,y) implemented on a FPGA (OR-7851R) and have a simple question that frustrates me.

  See the attached vi, my two inputs (x, y) are fixed numbers in decimal, length of 16-bit words, 1 whole bit (this is to say, - 1.000000, 0.9999695 with 3.051758e - 5 precision).

  Since atan2 must be a value between - pi and pi and labview outings pi radians (and not simple radians), I would expect the output to be the same format as the input, a 16-bit number between - 1 and 0.9999695 (3.051758e - precision 5) with 1 single bit used to the whole.

  Instead, the VI requires to be a word of 16 bits, but with the whole part of 2 bits (that is to say, - 2.0000, 1.999939 with 6.1036e - 5 precision, see attached photo atan2_output_type.png). This earns me nothing and I have only half the accuracy I should have! I tried several entries and I confirmed it returns only numbers between-1 and 0.9999389 (6.1036e - 5 precision).

  I can't seem to be able to change it because all the options in the dialog box are grayed out (see attached photo atan2_dialogue.png), as he decided that's what he must return in light of my entries. Can someone explain why it does this? Is there something simple that I'm missing? I need that little extra to go on decimals, not the whole of my fixed point number side.

  Hi Dan,.

  Normally, a little like that growth is due to a case of corner, I guess in this case it takes cover 1.0 pi radians as an output as possible. If you need more precise output, just to increase the word length; with a fixed whole word length, all the bits that you add will be fractions. If you don't want the whole extra bit, just throw it away using fixed point to set the length of whole word to 1 and the overflow mode to Wrap.

  It seems that you have an XMLType column based on a pattern of failure revalidation.

  It's strange, but fortunately, the error has nothing to do with the database character set.

  Just change your NLS session parameters:

  ALTER session set nls_numeric_characters = ".";

  and try again.

  I think I may have a solution for you. I reduced the problem in my composite form down to a simple form. I renamed that are formed and removed all special characters (for me I had to remove the character &). After this change the composite form which previously would not planning open now works correctly.

  I would like to know if it works.

• Formatting 11.1.2.1 on instruction form

  We are on version 11.1.2.1 EMP and html formatting seems to work when instructions are displayed in Excel but not seen on the web. The problem is when there is no html formatting not applied, in SmartView instructions are a large box of words, but it will be very good on the web is one or the other.   I didn't 11.1.2.1 so can't test it.

  I don't see a problem in 11.1.2.2 (web and smart display)

  I have a bold and some text superscript (both display correctly).

  I recommend you to connect a SR (there is a patch that solves the problem.)
