  No, if you do not use FormsCentral its disappearance will not affect you.

  I can't with that make up a form in InDesign for export in an interactive form in Acrobat. A couple of fields, the text is formatted as myriad as I want. On the rest, it is formatted to Minion and I can't seem to find anywhere to change this. I tried to do a "paragraph style" a character style, formatting a text box and nothing seems to work. Even tried to copy both entitled and their use for the other boxes, but it does not work. They returned to Minion.

  Any ideas?

  Don't know how you ended up with a different formatting, but in all cases, you can only control the choice/the font size in Acrobat, once your form exported in InDesign.

  Hi guys,.

  I worked with an Acrobat X Pro and Livecycle ES II, test to determine if we can use it effectively as a replacement for paper forms in our workplace. We have also recently deployed Alfresco, an open source CMS, that is very tightly integrated with what we would see with Adobe forms. However, I am a little confused trying to understand what controls the format of the response.

  The forms I create in liveCycle, when they are distributed, the answer seems to be a pdf or an xml file. The first few shapes that I designed happened on the server as a pdf when I've tested (which is exactly what I wanted). The last two, I created (using liveCycle), however, seem to always arrive as xml. I went through every page of the distribute... Assistant with what I feel, it's rather a fine toothed comb but cannot find anywhere to control this.

  Today, I discovered that Alfresco is impossible to analyze the form fields in liveCycle PDF (it's to do with Tika and PDFBox Analyzer, but it is not really related to this disccussion directly), so I spent in Acrobat that in my tests so far, creates analyzable form by Tika. When I distribute the form in Acrobat, however, the answers always seem to be in the format xfdf (which seems to boil down to xml in any case).

  I don't know that real PDF have been created at some point. I still have full testing of responses pdf files. Does anyone know what I'm missing which regulates the answer?

  OK, fwiw, this ad here in the case where it helps someone else.

  This became apparent once I tried to work around the problem. I concluded that I could not get Adobe back stably pdf formats and started looking in how I could use the fdf or http responses to adapt the same result. I consider using Toolbox pdf to generate the PDF file once it arrives and realized that as signature details (such as the certificate) are not included in this format, it could never work to return the signed forms that way. I tried implementing a form with a signature field so that I could see and test the data posted and found - surprise, surprise - who once signed returns to form in PDF format. Of course, it's because this is the format that will preserve all data (read: signatures) in shape, but the fact that he makes this decision with no reflection anywhere in the user interface is incredibly frustrating. We set up such that all forms have a signature field so that we can expect a response from pdf.

  As far as I know, Actionscript is not as formatting numbers. You will need to make your own. Something like this:

• Export bars change (and other formats) in Framemaker structured in XML

  Anyone know if there is a way to export the change Bars and other styling non structured in XML format via the treatment instructions? I put OutputAllTextWithPIs in my application, and I see track annotated Exchange, but no change bar PI. Looks like it would be essential to back and forth, but I have not found a way to do it. Any help is greatly appreciated!

  It depends on how the format bar change has been applied. If through character tags, it will not be exported as a PI. If you use the conditional of marking and set the style as a change bar, it will be. But... And are best avoided in XML... It will just cause of bloating. Also conditional IP tagging to the FM can cause problems on the road so it is best to avoid (IMHO).

  A better approach is to use attributes on elements, then have the change bars applied as formatting via ESD context rules. In DITA, there is the status attribute, which can be used for this purpose.

  Do not forget that in XML, you want to eliminate the "formatting", but rather store information in the form of metadata (attributes) that can be applied in different ways through a publication process (structure applications, etc.)

  If you only run XP and don't have no plan to upgrade to Windows Vista or Windows 7 and just VGA (not DVI) output, this PCI video card should work for you, and your machine has only PCI slots.

  You will need to read the installation manual on the support page and the driver of your PC because I believe that you need to change a setting in the BIOS to the PCI card to the video card main.

  Or you can search for a similar PCI card with a DMS-59 output with video split cable that goes to two monitors.

  I tried using "neosmart vista recovery disc" and execute "Startup Repair" and it detected problems and that fixed it. Then restarted and even a black screen with "missing operating system".

  Then I got my "acer e-recovery of a disk" and reinstall to factory settings. I noticed that it is installed in 2 disc/directory partition.  Once this was done, I rebooted and got the same black screen "missing operating system".

  Then you can someone pls let me know how I format my computer acer laptop (detailed instructions please) as I am not very irritable of mind.  All I have is the "acer erecovery discs.   LiveCycle Designer uses the same JavaScript engine that Acrobat and Reader when the LiveCycle form is in PDF format.   I hope someone can help! I create many forms in Indesign. I have a problem with the field borders when it is exported to PDF format.

  I set up the form fields in the Indesign Document as a graphic frames with a keyline in black 0.5pt, these are integrated in the main text of the page. These are then converted to text fields through the palette of "buttons and forms. Export pdf as an interactive pdf file.

  When first I look at the pdf file in Acrobat (or drive), it's fine.

  

  However, after typing in some examples of data some of the border disappears. I tried the form of compensation, but they are not always visible.

  

  Zoom in and out does not work. I tried to align the rule with the inside/outside/Center of the frame, it makes no difference. I tried setting the fields as floating on the page, does not work. The only solution I found is to set the border to 1pt - but it makes the very heavy form. Is there a way around this, or is 1 pt line width minimum that will work in this type of document?

  Unfortunately, there's really nothing you can do to control the display of the border of the form fields with borders .5pt, I see the same results as you.

  I'm trying to find a list of command/syntax that can be used in number formatting (bullets and numbering - style - dial number field).  I found a few examples, but I keep a list of available commands.  I searched, but was unable to find it.  Presumably, I'm using the wrong search terms.

  I don't think, because these are only a few. In the automatic numbering of the paragraph style settings dialog box, you have a drop down menu where you can select the formats that are then entered in the form of these shortcuts.
