I have a windows vista product id and I want to install xindows xp
I have a PC, Lenovo ThinkCentre with product ID for Windows Vista (Windows Vista Business OEMAct Lenovo Singapure). I formatted the hard drive and Windows XP intstalled. When I'm in the product ID of the label which is glued on the computer I got the error message "the product Id you entered in not valid. What I can do, I license for downgrade?
Thank you
No, you do not have a decommissioning licence, you need to buy Windows XP and the product key, and given that XP is no longer supported, it now costs more buy from XP to Windows 7.
Your probably better upgrading from Vista business to Windows 7 Professional that supports Windows XP mode.

Hello
We are using the Siemens software that are compatible with Windows Xp professional, Microsoft Official Web site we found that microsoft ended its support, only Extended support up to 2014.Upgrading system to Windows 7 is not possible that the Siemens software are not compatible with windows 7.
Well I mean it possible that we can buy licensed Windows Xp Sp3.Is it possible to buy a decommissioning licence and use it for windows Xp.
Have you tried XP de Windows 7 mode?
Regarding the XP software, it's out of most of the stocks suppliers on October 22, 2010. You can always find some for sale, but I would be very careful because there are a lot of pirated software, key of bad products, etc.
Downgrades may also be a thing of the past for publishers of PC, but it can't hurt to call.
Never be afraid to ask. This forum has some of the best people in the world to help.

Windows Pro 10. Update Firefox to v40.0. At the top, buttons full screen and the exit on the right, minimize it, didn't work and hovering on any of them could not highlight the button. I have re-downloaded the update and re-installed, but the problem still exists. As a test, I tried downgraded to v39.0.3, which fixed the problem. I realize that the downgrade may pose a security risk, but it works, and not v40.0! Prior to decommissioning, I tried the customization option, out, re - click on the menu bar, but neither helped. What to do next?

In addition to troubleshooting: I opened v40.0 Firefox in safe mode, and the problem occurred is no longer. Then restarted, open Firefox v40.0, using the option "Refresh", and the problem occurred is no longer. After add desired Plug-Ins and Extensions (eliminating some older or infrequently used items), I restarted Firefox, and the problem no longer occurs. Obviously, the problem was caused by one of the extensions eliminated or plug-ins. No other assistance needed.

I downloaded a video of my own using the Firefox Addon to unplug myspace page. It saved in my files, but when I try to open it, I get a message that says: 'a licence was not issued for this computer. When I click 'ok', it brings me to the block Presonus Studio One asking me to purchase a license now. In fact, a licence was issued to this computer, and I understand that there is a problem with customers not getting Presonus does not properly established with the approval of their product. But it shouldn't stop me from playing my own videos on my own computer.
Sorry, never heard of this software before. How are Firefox users able to listen to the music that is created b this software.
A specific package of DRM?
A specific plugin? As may of Adobe Flash?
It seems that you have two plugins Flash for Firefox. Not a good idea because it may confuse Firefox. Try to get rid of the old version.

Decommissioning of Pavilion 15-n287cl for Win7
Wife got a new Pavilion TouchSmart 15-n287cl and she hated Windows 8. I told him that I him downgrade to 7 after she has spent some time with her and hated 8... disabled Smart Boot, got Win7 installed just fine. Starts in 7 for the first time and I tried to install the drivers from the disk and a bootable USB key and got said that none of the drivers would work. Curious, because I've never had problems in the past. I went to the HP site and saw the drivers for my product:
Nothing of value is listed in the Windows 7 options. Did someone had a similar experience in decommissioning/when trying to find the Win7 drivers on a computer that is preinstalled with Win8?
Hello:
Give these a try...
First, you must install the AMD chipset driver and restart.
You want the first file on the Web page.
http://support.AMD.com/en-us/download/chipset?OS=Windows 7-64
Graphic design is the fun part. You can first try running AMD beta driver to the latest version from the link below and maybe it will install the drivers if no, then let me know and I'll give you another method to install it using this driver.

Ethernet: Install the second on the list.

HP Pavilion p245sa: HP Pavilion decommissioning win 8.1 for Win 7 32 bit 64 bit
Sorry for the long post essentially brought a HP PAVILION p245sa laptop to replace the desk at work but none of any of my medical equipment works with the laptop. The laptop is 64-bit but the software and hardware only works with 32-bit windows. I got intouch with the manufacturers and they have confirmed that they do ABOUT 64-bit support. Among the material I'm using is a canon camera, however they can't all the 32-bit drivers for it.
While the laptop came with 64-bit WINDOWS 8.1, I thought once win 10 lot, I may be able to change the fuse, but no. Win 10 did nothing.
I installed Windows Vista AND Windows 7 32 bits, but the USB port, ethernet, WiFi drivers do not work. I tried to install the 64-bit original to win 8.1 drivers but they do not install it. Later, I tried to find the equivalent drivers for 32 bit by just googling. IE, I downloaded a 32-bit driver for Broadcom ethernet Web Lenova site, but it does not work either. So basically when I installed win 7 32 bit, what worked was cd player that's all.
I have restored the laptop completely, return to the factory restore now so there win 8.1 again, but I read someone else without decommissioning. If anyone can direct me, that will be great. !!!
Just FYI, I got in touch with microsoft, who can help, cat of hp who say they can't stand not anything outside of victory 8.1 or higher and got in the currys touch which are just a pain!
Hello:
You should be able to use all the W7 32-bit drivers and software from the HP Probook 450 G2 on your model.
Do not use the BIOS and firmware files well.

If for any reason any the Intel HD graphics driver does not work, use the one directly from Intel... the first file listed is the automatic installation file.

After decommissioning 10.0.1->; 10.0.0 activation problem
Hello
recently I had updated my computer at home from CVI10.0.1 to enjoy many bug fixes; everything went well, but I had to learn that my shared services provider had expired, leaving me without a valid licence for SP1. So I uninstalled 10.0.1 and re-installed CVI 10.0.0. No apparent problems appeared, but since then, I have to activate my license whenever I start my computer.
Activation works OK, but after a (re-) from the PC to the State of the License Manager always tells me: 'enabled for another computer' - so I enable AIC whenever I start the computer...
Any suggestions on how to solve the problem? (Win 7 64 bit, CVI FDS 10.0)
Thank you
Wolfgang
Hi Wolfgang,.
You can disable a network adapter and use only the other or you can force your License Manager to generate the computerID out of the ID of the hard disk.
This is possible, but that's why you need non-public information of National Instruments. Please send me a message with your email address personal, then we can handle outside this forum.

decommissioning of the hp pavilion 2215dx windows 8 for windows 7 prof
f
Decommissioning experience so far. The only problem I had seemed to come of my allowing the Windows 7 pro, install more than 150 updates, which took all day, and then the computer died on me! lol I took a breath, turned on the computer, press ESC and went straight to the IEF, where, after clicking on the 'Start' and 'EFI' (Nothing), I then clicked on "Microsoft", which took me to the beginning of the Windows 7Pro install again. I just did a newinstall, and everything was fine. USB, CD/DVD, Audio... everything works.
Here are the questions:
Cursor and browser guard move and jump now. What should do? the
I loaded the drivers to get me back online. But there are still some drivers that need to be loaded, but where and whence? If the 2215dx has been implemented for win8 and I am usin win7pro, how can I do for updates to date and such? This means that all Win7 auto updates are no longer relevant?
So far, these "appear to" the drivers I need? :
PCI, PCI SIMPLE COMMUNICATOR, UNIVERSAL SERIAL BUS, SM BUS CONTROLLER.
Again, all in all transfer to Win7 Pro has been great!
KCPippin
How is this ethernet driver does not work?
This kind of weird things happening?... I have no idea.

Decommissioning of my ENVY 15-j022el for Windows 7
Hello
I just bought the laptop above and I am going through the decommissioning process of the built-in Windows 8 to a whole new Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.
The computer is just turned a couple of times, no hardware of software change either.
Shame on me, I have never imagined that the decommissioning process would have been so stressful when I bought the NB.
I searched a bit through the forums and it seems I'm not the only one, so here I am begging for gurus please, please provide me with a short tutorial or something.
NOTE: this phone does not come with a CD/DVD unit so I bought an external USB one - it is how I intended to install the new OS.
Apart from that, here's another detail: I had intended to have Ubuntu and Win7 on this machine working in separate disk partitions.
What should I do first? Downgrade to Win7 and then install Ubuntu or vice versa?
I apologize if these questions been asked a million times already, but I have not found an answer to my specific model of laptop and do not know if the ENVY 15-j033tx offers the same exact material that the 15-j022el, in order to better be safe than sorry in case where you answered the same question elsewhere give me please the link and that's all.
Thank you very much for your help,
Kind regards.
Stef
Hi, Stef:
First, you will need to change a setting in the BIOS to be able to install and run W7 on your model. See the information below.
http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03736054
You can use all the W7 x 64 drivers and software for this model on the link below.
Install the Intel chipset first installation utility and restart.
Then, you need to install the Intel HD graphics driver before installing the graphics driver nVidia.
DO NOT USE ALL DOWNLOADS OF BIOS OR FIRMWARE FROM THIS LINK
Unfortunately, I do not know the answer to your other questions.
I never installed but operating systems simultaneously on one PC and of those, only Windows.
Best regards
Paul

Can't read music files on Windows 7 I need a music licence?
I can't play a lot of my files of music since the transition from xp to w7, I thought I need a music licence? I didn't need a XP what I do to play?
I see so far, nobody has tried to help with that... not sure I can that we're going to have a go anyway!
Select one of your songs who will play is more in your library folder of music (rather than in wmp) right click and select 'Properties'-the 'Détails' tab and scroll down to the "content" section where you will see "Protected" - if it says 'yes' then part of your music ripped or downloaded with conditions and which is why you can not access it. (See highlight in the screenshot below)
You still implemented your updated xp or W7 has been installed to replace?

questions about the decommissioning of win 8 for Win 7
I plan to install Win 7 Pro on my Win 8.1 on my desktop computer. My computer came preloaded with Win 8 and then I upgraded to win 8.1 by using Windows Update in Control Panel. So I have the computer manufacturers 64 bit Win 8 Support disc that came with the computer, but no Win 8.1 disk. I also have my old drive for Win 7 64-bit. My main concerns regard the problems potential decommissioning and also possible future problems if I decide to come back to Win 8 (regardless of the version then in force).
I have two questions:
(a) there will be problems if I decide in the future to upgrade Windows 7 Pro to whatever the current version to win 8 given that I only have my Win 8 of the manufacturer of the computer drive?
(b) in addition to needing all the drivers for Win 7, are there other problems by going win 8 for Win 7?
If you want to downgrade to Windows 7.
You will first need to go to the website of manufacturers for your model computer and first find out if there are native drivers in Windows 7. A large number of computers that are preloaded with Windows 8 have no native driver support for Windows 7 by the manufacturer.
If there are native drivers for Windows 7, there should be a problem.
Prior to decommissioning, I highly recommend facility backup the Windows 8.1 currently on the disk, so if you decide to go back to Windows 8, you can simply save your data in Windows 7 and restore the image of Windows 8.1. Learn how to:
