But, I tried to install the Virtual Appliance of deep security, but when I try to prepare the ESXi in deep Security Manager (Deep Security Manager is a VM virtualized in my computer) I get the following error: "unable to download .zip bundle in offline mode. Ensure that the ESX Server can connect to XXXXXXXXX on port 4119. "I turned off the Windows Firewall on the virtual machine and the physical machine that hosts it.   You should also ensure that the ESX Server can communicate with the deep Security Manager. During the process of preparation, the DSM gives the vCenter a temporary URL for the filter driver. vCenter then passes this information to the ESX Server that is responsible for downloading the driver himself.

  Ping the DSM of the ESX command line and see if you can get there by train.

The virtual computer is configured in the "All-in-One" configuration, and our user Zimbra's email accounts are in a subdomain. How do we get the Sonicwall appliance to map the address enter the real address in the LDAP protocol?

  Email Security is only configured in the actual LDAP query LDAP information.

  If this is not correct, so I used a LDAP browser to get a LDIF from the LDAP server to see what attribute is assigned to the correct email address then set the LDAP request in e-mail security to use this attribute.

  I started the process of Trend Micro Deep Security 9 update to Service Pack 1, but ran into a problem during this process.

  Just like the information, I run VMware View VMs (virtual desktops) on these hosts.

  After the upgrade of the DSM, relay and ESXi filter drivers, I then upgrade one of these devices to SP1. After that, each virtual desktop on the host related to SP1-Upgraded TDS unit is unable to communicate correctly with the server administrator display Horizon, client applications of sight and portal service of VMware View Blast. When I try to Ping (ICMP) the same VM, they respond very well.

  I checked the ESXi firewall rules, they are as they should be (no specific restrictions on traffic Web or PCoIP ports etc.), and double-checked that deep in Trend Micro Security firewall policy is turned off.

  Any ideas? I'm not trend-expert, I really have no idea where to start to fix this problem.

  Update: A cold-restart of the device seems to have solved the problem. The main NETWORK card was stuck somehow and does not have a normal reboot.

  Testing of vSphere 5.0 update 1 and vShield 5.01 was carried out as part of the next version of Deep Security 8.0 SP1. Our existing product has not any problems with the latest version of vSphere and vShield.

  As indicated in the compatibility table, Deep Security SP1 will ensure one manager working with the two ESX / I 4.1 and 5.x ESXi. We are on target to release SP1 in early may, 2012.

  I have a laptop Dell Precision M4700 which came with Win 7 x 64 final. He also provided Trend AV software. When I try to remove the trend, it seems to have problems, but after a reboot, it seems to be off the system. Then, I try to install MSE which seems fine and can even update and run a scan. However, the first time that I reboot after installation, the system hangs on "Starting Windows" screen I reinstalled but unfortunately the recorded windows also includes the trend s/w and it shows the same problem.

  I still have an old Latitude D830 that I have upgraded to Win 7 x 64 Ultimate. It works fine MSE. He had no preloaded trend and drivers are a little different due to different materials,

  We deploy the Nexus 1010 Virtual Appliance service in order to use the analysis network (NAM) Module.  The 1010 necessary hosted of the MSM to deploy the 1000v switch into ESX.  We would also use VN-Link in the material by which we "get around" the virtual switch and use the 6120's for switching.  What I need to know, it's possible the 1010 always to analyze network traffic using hardware VN-link?  Hardware VN-link does not seem to need a VSM, so I think that the 1010 cannot monitor traffic because there is no "attach" to 1000v.  Anyone can shed some light on this?

  The NAM module present in the 1010 is not exclusive for Nexus1000v traffic.

  Its there as part of a device which is be the VSM (1000v) and is set on its own.

  If you look at the Nexus1000v, the VSM (which is the 1010 and holds the NAM in this case) is * not * part of the VM data path.

  He's wanted for initial virtual port instantiations (veth) but after that the traffic does not go through it.

  So to send data traffic VM to the NAM module for analysis, another mechanism (such as ERSPAN) is used to route the data traffic of the VM is to her.

  The Nexus 1000v support ERSPAN.

  Same logic applies you have a NAM module-the 1000v can send traffic to it through ERSPAN.

  Looking to VN-link in hardware - there a MSM which is the INSTITUTION itself.

  When you say that access to the console after poweron, do you mean open the console automatically? If this is the case, then you can use the Open-VMConsoleWindow cmdlet. It will automatically open the console of the virtual machine in WebClient.

  If you want to automatically run commands inside the virtual machine then use Invoke-VMScript cmdlet.

  Please let me know if this is what you're looking for or something else.
