  • Default configuration of the windows features. Restoration of the changes. Do not turn off your computer... HEEELLLPP!

After restart my Asus X55oE due to necessary updates, I got «default configure features windows.» Restoration of the changes. Do not turn off your computer. After reading several messages through other forums, I turned it and then turn again only to receive the same screen. Some of these forums say that it can take 2 hours or more because of so many updates made at the same time. I think I was trying to upgrade windows 8 for windows 8.1.

I'm really worried about it just because I just got back this PC from ASUS and am needing to work. Can someone tell me if there are other options or make sure that it just take a while? I also read that you can actually go to the control panel > windows update > help to erase mistakes. Also, someone said that you can customize the number of updates at a time can be both. I certainly do not happen again. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Note : Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. • Default configuration of the PFS on the Cisco ISR

    Hello

I want to learn more about the default configuration of PFS on the Cisco ISR router.

-Introduction to IP Security (IPSec) encryption - create a Crypto map
    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/Tech/tk583/TK372/technologies_tech_note09186a0080094203.shtml#cryptomap

You can also change the configuration of your PFS here. PFS Group1 is the default value in this example. You can change the PFS to group2, or turn off all together, you should not do.

    DT3-45 a (config) #crypto card armadillo 10 ipsec-isakmp
    DT3 - 45's (config-crypto-map) #set counterpart 192.168.10.38
    DT3 - 45 session key has seconds (config-crypto-map) #set 4000
    DT3 - 45's (config-crypto-map) #set transform-set HAAT PapaBear BabyBear
    DT3 - 45's (config-crypto-map) #match address 101
    --------

This example has no configuration PFS PFS is set to group1.
However, the following command reference indicates that PFS is not requested.
Which is the correct description for the PFS setting?

    -the pfs value
    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/iOS/Security/command/reference/sec_s2.html#wp1063163

    Default values
By default, it is not required of PFS. If no group is specified with this command, the Group1 keyword is used by default.
    -------

Thank you for your cooperation in advance.

    Order is correct.

If pfs set is not configured in the crypto map configuration, pfs will be negotiated not.

If set pfs is configured without any group, then it uses default group1

And if you do not want to use the other group, you set the group # in the command set pfs.

I hope it is clear now.

I recently bought a new hard drive (seagate momentus xt) for my older PC toshiba M70 laptop. I tried to re - install Win XP on the recovery disk (which came with the laptop) but I got a black screen with cursor. I repeated the collection, same thing. To check that all was well with the disc, I scanned and then installed ubuntu 9.04 it work perfect! What is interesting is that in the prior installation, he showed that win xp has been installed on the disk. Then I tried to re - install win xp - then I got this error Grub 17... I went back with the facilities and now I'm at a point where I get a message "error: unknown filesystem grub rescue >" (after the installation of ubuntu 11.04, then windows again). I don't know what to do. What I want is my xp back, I can't get ubuntu. Help, please.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi ARolle,

    ·         It is reinstall drive?

Method 1: Load default BIOS (Basic Input\Output System) settings, and then restart the computer. Make sure that you have the CD drive set as first boot device. Check the settings by consulting the manual or call the manufacturer to do so.

Note: Be careful when you change the BIOS settings. The BIOS interface is designed for advanced users, and it is possible to change a setting that can prevent your computer from starting properly.

Method 2: Try to boot from the CD and see if you can start the installation.

  • Download Manager "Server returned an Error" when you try to reinstall SQL Server 2008 R2 180-day free trial

I'm trying to install the trial version of SQL Server 2008 R2 on my computer for the second time within the period of 180 days, because last time it has installed without Analysis Services, I needed. The first time it installed fine.

I do not get a specific error message - once the Download Manager comes to extract the SQLFULL_x86_ENU.exe file, a box opens and says "the server returned an error. Would you like to try again? "and continues to appear if I try again and block the Download Manager.

I have Windows 7 and a 32-bit computer. Is the question the fact that it is the second time that I install, or something else? I would have thought that the error would have been more accurate, if that were the case. If so, what can I do to get the software installed on my machine for the rest of the trial period?

    Thanks please help!

    Hello RobPeterscheck,

If this is your 2nd time to install, did you uninstall the original SQL version until you tried to reinstall?

You can temporarily disable the download manager in Internet Explorer and then activate once you have installed the download you want. This will help to highlight if Download Manager is the problem.
Log on with an account that has privileges Administrativer.
    Open Internet Explorer.

Click on 'Tools' on 'Internet Options'.
    Go to the Security tab.
    Go to custom level.
    Go to the downloads Section.
Find the file downloads tab and disable the option button.
    Click OK.

    Restart to save the changes.

Please reply back and let us know if this can help.

    Sincerely,

    Marilyn

    Hi Rick,

    1. you are trying to boot from the disc or start on the desktop to start the installation?

If you don't have any concerns of data, you can continue the installation without removing the program.

If you have any concerns of data, then try to remove the PowerShell and run the install. Also perform a backup of important data before reinstalling Windows Vista.

Refer to Microsoft KB article for more information:

    OT: Windows Update failure 8.

I recently re-installed Windows 8 using an old product key once I updated my PC using Windows 7 due to failure to boot Windows Technical Preview. The installation went smoothly, but when installation is finished, he told me that I had installed updates, for the most updated security. I installed them and restarting my PC, he has said configuration Windows Updates... Do not turn off your computer. It is immediately followed by updates default Windows configuration . Restoration of the changes. Do not turn off your computer. It accomplishes this task for like 10-15 minutes and then finally starts. Once my PC starts, this cycle starts again. • Default configuration of the Windows updates. Restoration of the changes. Do not turn off your computer

Hi, I just refreshed my laptop that I got a few drops FPS at random. Initially, it worked fine, but after a while before instaled Norton started to cause me problems. At this time I uninstalled it and when he asked me to computer restatr now, I did. Now I'm stuck with this message window loading. Restart the computer from time to time, but the message is always the same: failure of configuration of Windows updates. Restoration of the changes. Do not turn off your computer.
    Computer: hp pavilion n006sm
    Operating system: win 8 pre-installed
At the moment I'm stuck on this window for over an hour and nothing has changed

Seems that problem solved by itself. As I correctly uninstalled Norton, I just put my automatic updates and restarted my laptop again. He installed the updates with no problem and its working fine. Seems that Norton was really the problem, will keep you informed.

Step 1 of the 'solution' to this error reads:

It is impossible to do this step 1 because my computer never stops display failure message to offer a mouse or interactivity, whether... it is in an infinite loop of failure with no way to stop.  Same way as fail-safe after power reset does not work.  There is nothing I can do at all.
