  Unfortunately, this solution does not work. First of all, there is no browser.download.lastDir on Fx Android, and even if build you it, it seems that it is ignored.

  Always download it directly in your file by default when you click Save to save a download.  But if you click on "save under" pop opens a dialog box, your default download folder is not considered nor asked from the registry at all.  In fact the browser don't even remember the last folder you had open here in a dialog box, which is a service "ideally" provided by the dialog manager common shell.

  Did you check if the destination of the download for Mozilla folder?

  1. In the address bar, type Subject: config and press enter. The subject: config "this might void your warranty!" warning page may appear.

However, when I use my default browser to Firefox (again, by right clicking), it simply records the file in my downloads folder without allowing me to select the destination. Why does this happen and can I do to save a file using Firefox and choose the destination where I save it? (My OS is Windows Vista)
