default email in the original ePrint

Hi - I tried a coujple of time to set up an email for my 7600 but it won't save no and default return values to the original which is embedeed in the printer. It appeared to work for a year back when I first set up the printer, but the data seem to have disappeared. Also get the 551 error trying to add shippers as authorized additional e-mail addresses.

Thanks for the help. Gary

  • Old profile will be migrated but I forgot to backup existing profile before you rename it. Best way to retrieve emails to the original profile that still exists as * .old?

Of course, I left on stage backup or export, do not know that. In any case, won't make things worse so thought better to ask before proceeding. I've renamed existing "new but used" profile *.old and copied old profile in the same folder, giving the name of the profile 'new but used '. There are emails in the profile "new but used" I need to recover. What is the best way to proceed?

    Thank you

OK, either copy all the files from the old to the new mbox and place them in local folders. do not copy * .msf files (they are just indexfiles and will be recreated)

    delete panacea.dat
It will be re-created. (it contains a list of directories and files)

or get an Add on ExportImportTools that can help you import an mbox.

When they are in local folders you can move.

  • Prepare emails to the original copies

What is the best way to save original copies of email?

You can archive, which also maintains the server. Or you can create the mailboxes in the section on my Mac, which will keep the locally, but also make some of your mail research.

Thereafter, you should just have a backup of the disc any update using Time Machine or another backup or cloning software.

  • How can I return an email to the original sender?

My question: how bounce back you to the sender an email.

    Thank you.

    original title: Bouncing email

Mail clients may not produce 'bounces '.  Bounces are non-delivery reports generated by e-mail servers and to have a specific format that dictate the messaging standards.  False customer area rebounds easily detected and simply the server to prove that your address is valid.

If it is your intention to discourage spam using fake bounces, you will find the ineffective for many reasons.  First of all, because you can not generate a nondelivery report validates that looks like your mailbox is not available, second unwanted spammers either do not use replyable addresses, so that even if you can generate a non-delivery report, the sender will never see, or they use the address diverted to an innocent person who will receive your bounce and scratch their head wondering why you sent.  There are other reasons as well why they are not server the purpose of reducing spam, if that is your intention.

If you want a person and especially you know to stop that send you junk mail, give them a call and ask them to stop.  A bad bounce is little likely that descourage them.  Indeed, so is a phone call, most likely.  The best course of action must in this case just delete unwanted messages or create a rule that will do it for you.

  • SkyDrive links added to all default email on the last document

Attaching a series of 4 documents to an email in Hotmail via skydrive translates into hyperlinks for each document appearing as a list in the email as well as hyperlinks allowing you to ' go to ' 4 documents or download as a zip file.

Using the two links this last fine, but all four of the hyperlinks in the list title will take you to the same document, which is always the last document added.

It's weird and annoying.  Any body know why this happens and how to fix?

  • What is POP, POP3 and IMAP, when I set up my email account in the HP ePrint App?

I did as much research as I can do regarding the implementation of the HP ePrint App e-mail accounts.  If you do not see your e-mail information listed here, feel free to post below or contact your internet service company provider, by phone or e-mail, or to anyone else who might know this. I am sure there are many others that could be added, but this is a pretty comprehensive list.  I hope you find what you need to complete the setup of your e-mail applications.

I noticed information differs from site to site, but as I've learned over time, masking the area and companies buying other companies, I just studied all the information that I could find and also if one of the names of hosts or ports does not work, then you can continue see below on this page to see if this information is the same. At that point, if you do not find what you need here, I would say that you have done all you can do before contacting appropriate for your information by email support team.

Most of the links is active and those listed below should send you directly the pages I pulled this information since then, but only a few of them came from the real support of the sites themselves (Apple support was vague, as well as Microsoft, Macintosh and commonly used Internet services providers). Save you time by searching here first.  I hope that you will find what you need in this one-stop-shop and if you get an email that is not listed here, please report it below and I'll add it to this original document.

Finally, as this information comes to the forum and other non-official sites, I want to add that it is a document of copy/paste/edit-for-easy-read I created in my spare time. It is a very long document, so I do is recommended to use the search and find keys to find the email that you need, but the upper part of this definition has as to what the servers, ports and are host names and the basic setup in case you need to know what are these options and their meanings.

Here are the most common settings needed to implement most of the Clients POP3/IMAP e-mail or devices:

The following information below can be found at http://www.swestcom.com/Support/q4.htm

    "What is POP3?

Post Office Protocol version 3 (POP3) is a standard messaging protocol used to receive e-mail from a remote server to a local e-mail client. POP3 allows you to download e-mail messages to your local computer and read them even when you're offline. »

    "What does IMAP mean?

The Message IMAP (Internet Access) protocol is a messaging protocol that is used to access e-mail on a remote web server from a local client. IMAP and POP3 are the two most common of messaging Internet protocols to retrieve emails. The two protocols are supported by all e-mail clients modern and web servers.

"Main difference between IMAP and POP3:

The POP3 protocol assumes that there is only one client connected to the mailbox. On the other hand, the IMAP protocol allows simultaneous access by multiple clients. IMAP is suitable for you if your mailbox is about to be managed by several users. »

    "What is SMTP?

SMTP simple Mail Transfer Protocol () is the standard protocol for sending emails across the Internet. SMTP uses TCP port 25 or 2525 and sometimes you may have problems to send your messages in case your ISP has closed port 25 (How to check if port 25 is open?). To determine the SMTP server for a given domain name, the MX (Mail eXchange) should have more information."

    "When you set up:

    • POP - choose that POP-UP and the port entering the default server to 110
    • IMAP - choose IMAP and the port entering the server by default to 143
    • All other parameters are the same.
    • Username = [email protected]
    • Password = the password you set up when you set up your mailbox
    • = Incoming mail server mail.yourdomain.com
    • = Mail server outgoingsmtp.yourdomain.com
      • Outgoing requires the authentication of the server (typically found in the settings or advanced options)
      • Do NOT select "Log on using Secure Password Authentication".
      • Use the same username and password as incoming or select "use same settings as incoming.
      • Outgoing server port= 2525 or 587
        • It is subject to change according to individual preferences of your ISP.

Note - Replace with your domain name for "yourdomain.com" and replace the first part of your e-mail address for "user".

    Email ports
For networks, a port means endpoint to a logical connection. The port number identifies what type of port it is. Here's the e-mail ports by default for:

    • POP3 - port 110
    • IMAP - port 143
    • SMTP - port 25
    • HTTP - port 80
    • (SSMTP) - port 465 secure SMTP Protocol
    • Secure IMAP (SSL IMAP4) - port 585
    • IMAP4 over SSL (IMAPS) - port 993
    • Secure POP3 (POP) SSL - port 995.

It is just to recap, a series of ports for people who need this information when you configure the HP ePrint app so that they could see their email from the app, I've collected over time.  I am sure that other applications also need this information.  Although long, I couldn't find a more complete place to retrieve this information.  Feel free to post additional information, faulty information or other associates subject below that it is simply a collection of data and it would be virtually impossible to test all of them. Thank you!

  • When importing from other email accounts emails remain in the original Inbox?

    1. for the importation of other e-mail accounts emails remain in the original Inbox to gmail site etc?
    2. If the remaining in the original Inbox, they will appear as 'read '?

    1. that depends on what you mean by "import."

If the account uses the IMAP protocol, Thunderbird will show you what is on the server. There is no need to "import" anything.

POP is quite different. It will default to move all messages from the server down to Thunderbird and then delete them from the server. If you don't want to do it, start Thunderbird in offline mode and configure "Leave a copy of messages on the server" in the settings of the account in Thunderbird.

    2. I don't know with certainty how the/unread status is managed, but some experiences here show that Thunderbird keeps synched with the playback on the server status. I'm waiting your messages read to appear as "read", like a message 'read' on the server is reflected as "read" also in Thunderbird.

  • Menu "BOLD" of blackBerry Smartphones changes back to default after changing the battery, but changes back when original battery in

I wanted some advice about batteries for my Blackberry "BOLD". I bought what was believed be an OEM battery so I had a back up when the original battery ran low on the ground outside, etc. But when I turned off the phone and remove the original OEM battery and place my purchase new battery in the phone, the menu has changed the appearance of the default menu and with no icons email I normally 5. The phone works fine, but the email icons disappeared now. If I replace the 2nd battery with the original OEM battery, he then returned to my menu customized with all the messaging icons in the menu.  Can someone please help with this problem. Is this happening because the 2nd battery purchased well stated as an OEM does not have the secure chip and alleged encryption that is used by the "BOLD" BB Phone to ensure that you are using an authentic product OEM Blackberry? Should I just buy the battery via Blackberry at full price or can I get the other distributors who claim to sell the correct OEM battery with the chip but at 1/2 to 2/3 of the price.  Or all the compatible batteries should operate independently without changing my settings and I may encounter an error with my phone, or is there an option that can be turned off in the phone to stop the resets.

    Thank you

    Hello

I can't guarantee that the use of the OEM battery will fix the problem.

I have no experience with Mugen batteries, so I can't help with that.

I don't think that a battery of expensive means better. Specifications only.

I buy my OEM batteries with the carrier that sold me the unit.

It might cost a little more, but peace of mind and no warranty problem

    are worth it.

I think there is a very good reason that RIM makes batteries,.

  • Editing the Messages in the project file changes the original date of the email to the current-how date can I change this back?

I often need to change the subject line in the emails received or sent previously. I do this by editing the drafts folder and then moving them to the storage in another folder. When I edit the original message the original message is replaced by the current date in e-mail header. This means that the message is now 'Out of Place' when I search on the Date. Screenshot attached.
