I want when pressing the button create pass enter the value for the OrgType attribute.

Bean to work, I wrote below

My problem when pressing the button create insert, create two archives, first record value to OrgType and in the second record did not value,

Bean:

package test.bean;

Import javax.faces.event.ActionEvent;

Import oracle.adf.model.BindingContext;

Import oracle.adf.model.binding.DCIteratorBinding;

Import oracle.adf.view.rich.component.rich.data.RichTree;

Import oracle.adf.view.rich.component.rich.data.RichTreeTable;

Import oracle.adf.view.rich.context.AdfFacesContext;

Import oracle.binding.BindingContainer;

Import oracle.binding.OperationBinding;

Import oracle.jbo.Row;

public String onCreateOrg() {}

BindingContainer links = getBindings();

OperationBinding operationBinding = bindings.getOperationBinding ("CreateInsert");

Object result = operationBinding.execute ();

If (! operationBinding.getErrors () .isEmpty ()) {}

Returns a null value.

}

DCIteratorBinding orgFormIter = (DCIteratorBinding) bindings.get("HrsOrgView1Iterator");

    Mr President.

    How to set the default value of the attribute with a sequence number? Is it possible to add a string to seq.no. like abc0001?

    Concerning

    For the date, you can use groovy expression adf.currentDate to set the current date. reference http://adfgouravtkiet.blogspot.in/2012/11/how-to-set-default-values-for-entity.html

    You already have ways to use the sequence.

  • Default value for the attribute transient

    Hello

    I use jdev 11.1.2.2.

    I have added a transitional attribute to the view object.

    I added a adf.context.securityContext.getUserName () default value to the attribute.

    Since I gave him in default value display only during the Insert to create operation.

    But I want that it always shows the value.

    How can I do?

    Thank you and best regards,

    The attribute can is "always"?
    Also adf.context.securityContext.userName as the default value Expression with recalculate "Always" should work fine.

  • How to use a UUID type number instead of sequence as a default value in the attribute of the view object?

    Hi all.. I want to use a type UUID number in an attribute of the object from view as default value to generate the unique field... so, how can I generate random uuid?

    Well, the UUID looks like as follows:

    Example 1: 067e6162-3b6f-4ae2-a171-2470b63dff00

    Example 2: 54947df8-0e9e-4471-a2f9-9af509fb5889

    You can play withgetMostSignificantBits() and getLeastSignificantBits() , this is the long values and you can combine them in order to generate BigInteger, as described here:

    https://gist.github.com/berezovskyi/2c4d2a07fa2f35e5e04c

    Then just use this value in the constructor number:

  • ADF: How to set default values for the attributes of each Insert online?

    Hello

    I am new to the ADF. I'm developing a simple Application from merger where a column of af: table has to be displayed with the user name (default) on each insertion.

    I tried using below EL:

    < af:inputText value = "#{null == row.bindings.SalesPeople.inputValue?" "{userBean.strUserName: row.bindings.SalesPeople.inputValue}"...

    And I am able to display the logged in user name by default on the side of the user interface, but the name of the user isn't getting recorded in the database.

    The action that I used to insert a new line is "CreateInsert".

    < af:commandButton text = 'Add new record' id = "cb1" actionListener = "#{bindings." CreateInsert.execute}"partialSubmit ="true"/ >

        RowSetIterator quoteRSIter = quoteIter.getRowSetIterator ();
        RowKeySet rowKeySet = m_SalesQuoteTbl.getSelectedRowKeys ();
        If (rowKeySet! = null & rowKeySet.size () > 0) {}
            Iterator rksIterator = rowKeySet.iterator ();
            The list rowKey = (List) rksIterator.next ();
            Key = (Key) rowKey.get (0);
            Line currentRow = quoteRSIter.getRow (key);

  • What is the best way to set a default value on an attribute that is dependent on a query?

    Hello master,

    I use Jdev 12.1.2. I have a project requirement where I have to set a default value for an attribute. The default value is derived from an SQL query.  I was intending to set the value of the Create method of the entity using VO class. But I preferred to have an opinion on if I do best.  Please advise

    Thank you and best regards,

    It is a logical place, so just go ahead with this...

  • How to give the default value for an attribute in the OPA

    Hello

    I need a default attribute boolean to true at the beginning of the session of the OPA. I need to use it to control the visibility on some pages.

    Can someone please throw light on how to best implement this?

    Thank you.

    You have a few options (as always with the OPA!)

    If you use determinations of Web and that you have defined your own screens, then the easiest way is to define a default in the screen - you can either do a default static or dynamic based on an attribute is proved by a default rule.

    If you want a value by default when you debug without using screens, so you're better off just writing a rule to set the default value. It's kinda interesting with a Boolean value as you do not need to tell the value of the attribute OPA - it is inherent in the name of the attribute. For example, if you had a conclusion "control is visible" (with no = "true" or whatever it is) it would be set to 'control is visible' to 'true '. Set it to false, you simply need to type "control is not visible" - which actually (thanks to OPA assuming a 'subsidiary conclusion') defines "control is visible" to "false".

    You can then replace it in the debugger of via a screen issue (if you force the question).

    I don't know how it would work with server of determinations if you had a default value proved by a rule, but has also provided a value in the data - maybe someone else can clarify if the rule takes precedence over the input data? My usual approach is to try locally in OPM and see (using something like SOAPUI to integrate with the determinations OPA server web service). If that's the best way to implement this course (or indeed if using a default value of visibility control screen is best practice) is difficult for me to say - I am a relative beginner!

    Hope that helps a little...

    Thanks in advance for the help!

    You have the part of the question of the namespace which tends to travellers to the top, but you missed the fact that AddressDetails is in a different namespace (default).

    Here is an SQL statement, with all hard-coded, which returns the value of the attribute you need. I had to add the namespace prefix so that the parser know which namespace of each element was.

    SELECT extractValue(VALUE(r), '/Response/Placemark[1]/Point/coordinates', 'xmlns="http://earth.google.com/kml/2.0"'),
    extractValue(VALUE(r), '/ge:Response/ge:Placemark[1]/oa:AddressDetails/@Accuracy', 'xmlns:ge="http://earth.google.com/kml/2.0" xmlns:oa="urn:oasis:names:tc:ciq:xsdschema:xAL:2.0"')
    FROM TABLE(xmlsequence(extract(XMLTYPE('

    333 THIRD AVE, ANYTOWN, ST 99999

    200
    geocode

    3rd St, Anytown, St 99999, USA
    US USA St Some County Any Town 3rd St 99999 -112.0281180,46.5815400,0
    '), '/kml/Response', 'xmlns="http://earth.google.com/kml/2.0"'))) r;

    Note: If you are on a version that supports XMLTable, I suggest to use. Easy to use, especially if you are using the COLUMNS option to pull data as fields then you need not to use extractValue in the SELECT part. I just made an example on {message identifier: = 3646323}

  • Initialization of the default values of the elements VI

    Hi all

    I know how to set the default values on the front panel.  However, when I run a VI several times without closing, I need to re - initialize some values of the façade of their value at the end of the last execution in the default values used in the next series.  In general, I do that using the "Init" State in a state machine or a first image of a stacked sequence.  In both cases, I just created a bunch of local variables and sets the values to zero, or any other initial value they need.

    When I was in training 1 Core and Core 2 recently, the Professor showed us a way to reset these values without using local variables, as described above.  But, for the life of me, I don't remember what he says to do.

    Any help my rapidly aging memory jogging would be much appreciated.

    Thank you!

  • How can you specify the default value for the undefined array elements

    According to aid LV, the tables have two default values, the normal default value and the default value for the undefined array elements.

    I assume that there must be a way to specify the default value for later, but I can't find it anywhere.  Any ideas?

    I know that you can drag the item out of the table container.  Change the default value on this scalar element.  Then drag the item in table tank.
