  I do a few experiments with Flex, but I already have some experience with Flash and AS3.

  What I try to do, is to make a small application that uses the Web services of the Weather Channel. The first part of the request is to ask the user for his location. Then the location is sent to the Web service and the system returns a XML document with possible matches. The user chooses one, and weather information are displayed.

  I have no problem with navigation, or passing results from one stage to the other, but I'm having a problem, I think it's an easy fix, but I can't get a light or an answer from what I've seen of these forums or webasites... I suspect it's because the format of the XML that is returned.

  For example, my request is this: http://XOAP.weather.com/search/search?where=Aveiro

  wich return two possible locations, in this way:

  There is no such feature as far as I know. If possible I would be happy to know, but I just checked the documentation by curiosity and could not find a reference to it. Unfortunately, it is not a very capable tool.
  An idea could be to aid implementation conditional form (or traffic lights) with a caption under the grid that indicates the meaning of each color. I hope that you don't have many entries in the active list.

• Dynamic action - defining the value of affected parts

  I'm a little trouble trying to set the value of several items affected in dynamic Action (refresh the number of the part to Page 2). Page 2 I want the user to select the order number and fill in the items combines automatically, for example part number Descr. I can make it work for Part_Number, but the same value appears when I add P2_DESCR to items assigned to set the value. I'm probably doing something really stupid!

  Hi Mickey,

  It is not as easy as it should be, even. You certainly do not make something stupid at all!

  Currently the action 'Set value' support only 1 distinct value. You might have other 'Action' within the same dynamic action that returns the other element you want, but it's inefficient, you need to make 2 round trips to the server to retrieve each value. We are looking for the opportunity to put multiple values without needing more trips to go back out of the box in a future release, but for now I think the best approach is to use a custom mix of dynamic measurements, JavaScript and a level of page AJAX callback.

  For this example, I use the EMP table, where the user selects the number and the name of the employee and employment are returned, but the technique can be used for your situation.
  

  
  
  1. Add a page 'AJAX Callback' called 'GET_EMP_INFO', make the type "PL/SQL" with a "Point of process" of "On Demand - run this process when requested by AJAX ' and add the following code:

  I have a rules database that allows members of a household to apply for certain services. Also, some documents must be submitted in order to complete the application process.
  
  Documents may or may not be required for all members of the household. For example, lets assume that the application requests a certificate of disability. This must be made by only those who are disabled.
  
  I want to display the list of members (on the summary screen) for which a particular document is required.
  
  How can I get this list? I tried to store member names in a global variable, but failed.
  The basis of rules is a separate entity to capture members of the household.

  Out-of-the-box in version 10, you cannot attach level entity attributes to the summary screen.

  Paul,
  It is early for me and Bank and branch that both begin with a b ;)

  I assume you have an association between the two EOs. Open this in JDev and select 'Relationship', open accessors (or use the pencil to change).
  In the dialog box, you can put an accessor in the EO of accounts that give you the parent EO (in your case, the Bank). Once you have the Bank you can access each attribute.

At the end of the insert operation, the special binding attributes of departmentId is seems to be Null. Am I on the right track or a little off?

  Your original question was about an XML attribute , but him more later for example does not use an attribute and a child element (). Attributes of the element XML and XML elements are two different things. If the XML schema for the underlying document defines the attributes, you cannot specify the required values as child elements.

  You can assign a new value to the property of JCA by using either the Ombudsman as BPEL.

  Pick click entitled value option and add the right attribute to the property JCA jca.db.DataSourceName.

  I have 1 text field and 1 submit to homepage.jspx. When I click the button submit, it will call the custom method defined in the 'Module of the Application' java class (ApplicationModuleImpl.java). Can I know how to get the value of this text field in this custom method.
  
  I used the getter and setter method, however it didn't work as it is defining the value correctly, but get method returns null. Its not allowing to use FacesContext. Could someone please tell me how to get the value of the text field to this custom method (that is, using ADFContext,... something like that)

  you have mixed up something here. Bean (as you did) cannot use the module of the application. They belong to different layers.

  The problem is with your defination of lookup you gave. Let me understand you
