Delay on a link Rollover

I am very new to Dreamweaver CS5. I'm currently doing a site and I work on the properties of a link.

I have the word 'Enter' link to the homepage of the site. I have the color change to a lighter color when the mouse over the word. However, this happens instantly. I wonder if there is a way for the lightest color to fade in the what you overview with the mouse instead of simply changing immedietely?

Thank you very much!

You can use a css transition...

http://www.w3schools.com/CSS3/css3_transitions.asp

It only works in CSS3 compatible browsers (all but IE9 and more).

    It's on a Windows domain, but that only one workstation is having this problem. There is a delay of 10 seconds when you click on a link to a Google search in Internet Explorer 8. Or any engine of research Yahoo, Bing, etc..

    If they go to a Web site and click on a link in this Web site, its very good. Its only when you click on a link from a result of the research. The screen turns off for about 5-10 seconds and then goes to the site you clicked on.

    I tried everything short of reloading the system to solve this problem. Checked against virus and spyware using various programs. I have factory reset. I checked the hosts file and DNS settings. I tried using DHCP and static IP. I connected with the domain administrator account. I tried to use FireFox and Chrome. It doesn't matter what she always does the same thing.

    Think only I have not tried to reload IE 8, but then I don't know why the same thing would happen in Firefox and Chrome.

  • delay 10s ~ when clicking on links before loading starts

    I have a delay of 10 seconds after clicking on links before loading starts. On some sites, it's worse than on others, the worst being on reddit.com. I tried to reset firefox but that did not help. Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hello

    Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that disables some settings and disables most Add-ons (extensions and themes).

    (If you are using an additional theme, place you in default theme.)

    If Firefox is open, you can restart in Mode without failure of Firefox in the Help menu by clicking on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item:

    If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Mode safe mode as follows:

    • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
    • On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
      (you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)

    Once you get the pop-up, simply select "" boot mode safe. "

    If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. Please follow the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

    To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

    When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. This might help others with the same problem.

    Thank you.

    Hello

    Try to manually configure the DNS servers in the network card settings (guide: http://www.plus.net/support/software/dns/changing-dns-windows-8.shtml).
    It fixed the problem for me.
    Apparently it has something to do with the reuter incorrectly redirect DNS queries (I use D-Link).

    Hello

    I have a mac

    I would like to know how I can get several images with the same States of reversal - but who appear both on several images, (but each element having its own binding property applied to this)?

    See image below: I want the two box 'A' of pop with the same State of turning even if I'm hovering on one of the boxes. But I want that each of the boxes to post a link to different pages of my site.

    Ive tried to group the images and moving them to their own layer, but the bearings are not "and" associate on several objects

    rollover.png

    It is not, but you don't need that to get the behavior you described. A1, a trigger will States and the hyperlink you want. On rolling, it will show its rollover State and show its target container that will be directly on top of A2. It will look like a rollover for A2 State. Repeat for A2, B1 and B2 and I think get you the behavior you described. It is simply a different way of approaching the problem (what happens to adapt the tools available in Muse).

  • Rollover States disappear when links are applied (Adobe Muse).

    Hi guys,.

    I created successfully States of bearing in the elements and they work fine. So when I add hyperlinks to these items, the rollover no longer appears.

    Having a bit of playing around with it I've found that I can make it work if I manually type in the URL (index.html so for example), however I simply select the "Home Page" of scrolling links, rollovers do not work during preview in Safari.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you.

    You can set the hover hyperlink to edit styles.

    Ive re-read your answer for more than an hour now, and nothing about this script makes no sense.

    This is the problem by relying on the copy / paste scripts. If you understand JavaScript, it is easy to adapt. But if you understand JavaScript, you would probably write it yourself first. Catch 22.

    What im trying to do is ensure that when the user clicks on an image, he made a break for x seconds, then go to the previous page [onclick = "history.go(-1); return false;"] »]. How can I do this?

    This makes it much easier to understand what you're trying to do.

    Go back in 5 seconds

    The JavaScript setTimeout() method accepts two arguments: the action you want executed and the number of milliseconds of delay. The first argument of setTimeout() must be either the name of a function (without the quotes) or the actual commands in quotes. Because the onClick event handler is wrapped in double-quotes, history.go(-1) must be wrapped in single quotes. The false statement is necessary to prevent the browser from trying to follow the link.

  • Maintain the rollover State for clicked links - session cookies

    Hello!

    I have a series of button images on all of my web pages, and I want to keep their rollover State individually when I click on them and go to another page and back. It is perfectly correct for the cookie that is deleted when the browser closes.

    I used dreamweaver swapimage behavior and remove the swap image restore behavior which is standard.

    This way the user of my site could see where they had been on a page, even if they leave and come back.

    I think it's an effect for many users?

    Thanks for any help!

    I assume that you set the value of a link clicked on TRUE cookie.

    At the bottom of the page, just above the tag, you need something like this (repeat the line for EACH image ID if)-

  • How to make hover/Rollover links work in IE7?

    That is the problem.  I did some CSS coding for the color of my links.  It looks like this:

    a: link {}
    color: #F0F0F0;
    text-decoration: none;
    }
    a: visited {}
    color: #F0F0F0;
    text-decoration: none;
    }
    a: hover {}
    color: #9F9F9F;
    text-decoration: none;
    }
    a: active {}
    color: #9F9F9F;
    text-decoration: none;
    }

    The code works fine in Firefox.  However, IE does not understand CSS coding for this.  (When I tested it in IE7, showed all of the default colors).

    So, I then added in some HTML codes, which looks like this:

    < body link = "#F0F0F0" vlink = "#F0F0F0" alink = "#9F9F9F" >

    Now, this changes the default link colors in IE7, but my hover/rollover color still does not work.  I guess that's because HTML encoding, there is no score/Environnement rollover code (only link vlink and alink).

    Someone knows how to solve this problem for my flight hover/rollover to display in IE7?

    Thank you.

    I know all concerned is not supposed to be using spaces.  For everyone told me that.  Just like everyone told me to always use div tags, but I've never found an instance where either actually caused me no problem.

    Continue the search. You want.  They do it.

    In order to better explain it well, there isn't any text.  Small images are links.  And, when you do an image, a link, it puts a border around it.

    Any other suggestions?

    Yes, certainly.  We told you this in your first post, the thread would have been two posts for a long time.

    Use this CSS for your images-

    an img {}

    border: 2px solid;

    border-color: #F0F0F0;

    }

    a: hover {img

    border-color: #F00;

    }

    Some browsers put on border-related images.  Others do not.  To cover in full, you must explicitly declare the borders.
