Deleted messages reappear in Windows Live Mail

When I delete a message (probable spam) from my Junk folder, it goes into the deleted folder.  When I remove it from there, I get a message "you sure you want to permanently delete this item?  I click Yes and the item disappears.  But the next time I open Windows Live Mail it's again.  I checked, the question is not on the Web site of my Mail, but it keeps reappearing in my junk e-mail folder.  How to permanently delete these messages?

Just go to Windows Live mail. then go to the junk e-mail folder. Now, right-click on any mail and go to Properties. You can see the location of this e-mail in the junk e-mail folder. Example of this my

C:\Users\user account\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail\ \Junk email\only one different name
Therefore, do not copy other text other than to stop spam.
Now, go to run using the Windows key + R.

Paste the location of your location of junk e-mail, and then press ENTER. Now you are in that folder, just delete all the email you want.
After completing, please go back to Windows Live mail new then go into home on send/receive tab to update or synchronize your Windows live mail and Hotmail web server.

I hope you look at the responses from the support staff to "cannot display" question to WLSC.  It's going to be a long term job, I think. The iPad experience was conducted using the same Internet connection or another?

I'm sorry, it will take an expert in demystifying the WLMail journal to address the problem of calendar. It is quite common, although I suspect that the message "corrupt data" covers a multitude of different errors. They should have enough cases to be able to say what the problem is, but they are so starved of resources that I doubt that anyone has attended the.

  • Error message "Unexpected" of Windows Live Mail

A few days ago I suddenly had the following error when opening Windows Live Mail "sorry, something unexpected happened and Windows Live Mail should close."  If I do NOT click on 'OK' then WLM is moving forward and my messages - downloads, but when I try to open one of them, it can not display the message.  I re-downloaded and re-installed Windows Live Essentials and run SPYBOT on data files.

I am running Windows XP SP3 and use WLM fine for over a year.

  • Cannot send messages, either through Windows Live Mail. Same problem as others have.

I could send messages through Windows Live Mail until I downloaded the optional updates for Windows 7.  I'm not saying that is / it was the culprit, because I restored my system to an earlier time (before downloading the update) and still had the same problem.  I tried to install Windows Live Mail on another computer and have the same problems.  I'm not as computer warned as others, so any help would need to be relatively simple to follow.

Click once on the work online on the status bar so that it turns into working in offline mode, and then remove all messages not sent from the Outbox.

Right-click on the account name in the folders pane, and then select Properties. On the servers tab, make sure that my server requires authentication is selected, and then click Advanced tab change the port to 587 outbound mail server.

  • I'm unable to receive messages on my Windows Live Mail. I get an error message.

Can't send or receive messages for the e-mail account of Dave. The connection to the server has failed.

    Server: ' pop - server.stny.rr.com'
Windows Live Mail error ID: 0x800CCC0E
    Protocol: POP3
    Port: 587
    Secure (SSL): No.
    Socket error: 10060

You have account settings incorrect (the POP3 server does not support the use of the port 587).

Right-click on the account name in the folders pane, and then select Properties.

    • On the servers tab, make sure that the incoming mail server is pop - server.stny.rr.com and the outgoing is smtp - server.stny.rr.com
      Select my server requires authentication.
    • On the Advanced tab, make sure that the incoming mail port is 110 and the outgoing a 587.

  • How to get back the messages archived since Windows Live Mail?

Original title: to access the old Live Mail

I got Windows 7 on my old laptop.  Laptop is dead, but I can still access files.  The Live Mail account on this computer is connected to an e-mail to company via ipage account.  IPage offers relatively little memory space in his webmail, so I have archived a ton of emails using Live Mail and then deleted from the ipage account.  How to bring back these archived emails?  What I must get them off old laptop hard drive or I can access with the new account Live on the new laptop computer to windows 8?  I downloaded Essentials and tried to connect with business email and password, but no dice.  Anyone has any ideas for me?  Thank you!

You will need to get them on the hard drive of the laptop old.  They must be stored inside this folder:

    C:\Users\shawn\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail

By replacing 'shawn' by your folder instead, real user name of course.

Everything you need to do is to copy this folder to your new computer, then run the import of Live Mail option in the file Menu and select the folder to import from.
