  To remove the default background, history of places is via the registry. This will restore the historic sites in the list by default .

  * Close all windows customization *.

  • Click Start
  • Type regedit into the search box of the start menu

  • In the left pane, navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Wallpapers\Images
  • In the right pane, delete all keys other than default
  • Close regedit

• Is also the option "Remove USB Drive" supposed to clear stock that webOS Fund wallpapers and ringtones?

  I was just wondering if the Palm Pre 'Clear USB drive' option is supposed to erase the stocks wallpapers and ringtones too? I recently tried this, fortunately after all the PRE USB key backup and he did clear all multimedia files including the stock ringtones folder and folder of wallpapers. In addition, I'm guessing memos aren't text files because the memos are still showing after the clear operation?   Yes, clear USB stick does exactly that it erases all saved on the USB part of the device, including wallpapers and ringtones, as well as the formatting, a memory stick or thumb drive.

  Memos are considered PIM data like contacts, calendar and tasks and are stored in the Palm profile. They are not deleted by erasing key USB. If you had to do a wipe Apps & data or a full erase when you register in your profile, they will be re - download to your device. Text messages don't re - will not download because they are not stored in the Palm profile.

  Hi, I have macos Sierra and I deleted many files to my main drive and also to my external hard drive (both to the Mac OS Extended format) in preparation for the boot camp. I also emptied the Recycle Bin, although there is much less space on the two disks that it should be and the majority of the space is obviously indicated under "purgeable". I thought it would not be a problem, because I assumed that the space would be released, if I move all of the files there and if I need for the new Windows partition. However, this assumption was false. I can't simply use storage that I released. I can't move there all the files and I can't create the partition from free space. What can I do with it?   You must use the Bootcamp Assistant to create the Bootcamp partition.

  Please provide details on the total space and free space on your internal drive. Post screenshots of what you see in system-> storage information. In addition, select the drive in Finder-I press control and post a screenshot of the window read the information.

  Yes, it is safe to delete the sparsebundle in the old media from backup after you remove as the backup location and create your 1st upward on the new location. Since your iMac is now pointing to the new backup media, they are more associated in the former. If you have no other Mac backup on old media, you can simply reformat.
