Dell Bios pro 11 venue shows no boot order after loading default

Hello members

I hope someone can help, I wanted to change my boot order in the bios of tablets, then found have peripheral USB as the first did not work, so I loaded by default of the Bio, now I have nothing at all in my boot order, so the tablet doesn't load.

How do I now please someone?

Concerning

Livio

I found the problem, as usual, it is a fault with the choice "load defaults" in the Dell bios, you would think that if the system is in need of legacy devices, the default should be that have to check the option "boot Legacy" in "boot order" and in "Advance Startup Options" and not the boot UFEI, but is not , the order is also all wrong if you have a micro SD card in, because the bio to see this as a hard workout not a removable disk, so it does not move to the next sequence available boot device.

You must change the order of 1 diskette, USB 2 device, 3 CD/CD-RW device, 4 SSD hard drive, 5 SD HDD.

I hope this helps someone else and Dell do something to 'Load Defaults' action for the place of meetings 11 pro, cos it's bad for the moment.

  • Satellite Pro A60-138 PSA65E - cannot boot from c WEIRD

    Hello
I bought this laptop on ebay, with no cd or manual.

    Satellite Pro A60 GR
    MODEL PSA65E-01K032GR NUMBER

    Hard drive is formatted.
I tried to install xp, because I start the laptop it just says: "control system.
Then press [F1]. "If I press F1, it tries to read the cd and gives up after a few seconds.

If there is no cd in the cd drive there simply nothing.
I tried to start the bios menu but everything works,(F12,F8,del) key.

Is there something I can do?
installing drivers or anything like that?

    Hello

In order to access the BIOS please press F2, then ESC.
This should load the BIOS and you can change the boot order there.

In addition, you can press F12 at the beginning.
This will allow the menu on the screen where you can choose the STRANGE as a source of start-up.

But are you able to boot from another CD?
The CD/DVD drive is unable to read the disc, and therefore the boot process fails

You could also burn this disc Win XP on another CD and could use the new disk to the start I did with my old laptop because the CD/DVD drive didn't read the old CD.

  • Dell 8 Pro venue does not charge

Hi it is a little disappointed with this product also excellent due to a problem loading of all the things to have a problem with. Received my 64 GB on Friday - widely used device over the weekend, do the installation of the latest updates to drivers, bios, and windows. Bought apps, installed some stuff on my card SD etc, had a lot of fun. Now this morning when I plugged it in to charge the little white light does not illuminate and the unit will not charge. Have you tried swapping the cable on the other hand, another charger (maximum up to now only been using the charger from Dell and the cable) all to nothing does not. The charger works - it will gladly charge other devices. Something is wrong with the unit. Worse, it looks like I'm not the only one. http://en.community.Dell.com/support-forums/mobile-devices/f/4586/t/19531607.aspx - I tried all the suggestions in this thread. http://www.aidanfinn.com/?p=15719 normally buy us Lenovo, it's my first Dell machine. Very disappointed. Request a replacement from B & H unit - they are very good. I hope that the replacement is better.

I found that the only solution was to throw my Dell coming Pro 8 into the trash.

Now that I have this cheap formerly piece of junk autour, I don't have to worry about whether it will work, does not work. Fee, no load, etc.

It was the first product of Dell, I bought for many years and because it was so terrible and get it replaced 2 times does not solve the problems AND Support Dell could not help me, because the Microsoft Store where I bought it would not consider return (I paid $289,99 for the dam thing) I decided it would be my last purchase from Dell.

I also sent an email to my friends and family telling them to refer to any brand BUT Dell for holiday - and if they buy a Dell product, GET a 3rd PARTY WARRANTY!

It is a Dell / question Intel from the place of Dell 7 running Intel and Android has the same problems of accurate pricing - excuse me, load BUG.

I am not able to give priority to installing Ubuntu on boot as it is not showing in the boot order. After starting my laptop, it starts to load XP.

I was installing Ubuntu along side Windows XP my laptop and in-between the installation got stuck and my hard drive was not working when I rebooted, I made my hard drive to work somehow and then I found another problem, i.e.my external DVD drive is not showing in the boot order. All the other things i.e.my hard drive, internal DVD player (does not work correctly) etc., appear but except for my external DVD player. I need my external DVD player to display in the boot order to install ubuntu.

I just did this to install Windows 10 from a DVD on a tablet of 10 Latitude by following these steps:
(Note: my version of BIOS is A08)

    1. turn off the 10 latitude power.
    2. attach a USB hub to the USB slot unique on the side of the tablet.
    3. fix a keyboard and an external USB CD drive to the USB hub.
    4. now press the button down on the side of the Tablet and simultaneously press the power button for 5 seconds (until see you the screen light up, but will be weak against black unlit).
    5. When you see the Dell logo, start typing on the F12 key (the lower right corner shows the option press the F12 key to choose single startup options)

I did everything and worked hard to solve this problem during these two days, but I couldn't solve my spirit is skipped now. Please help me how I can bring life in my macbook again.

Sorry for my English thanks to you all

Everything you described point to a failing HARD drive or possibly a bad SATA cable.  Remove the HARD drive, install it in a well known pen, plug it into the MBP via USB and start the MBP with the OPTION key down.  If the HARD drive icon and the MBP, boots, inner cable is the main suspect.  If it doe does not start the MBP, the HARD drive failed.

    Ciao.

  • Satellite Pro A200 - system does not boot

    Hello

    wondering if someone could help?
My Satellite Pro A200 with windows XP does not start. It starts with the Toshiba screen.
Then goes to a screen black with text where it says "PXEE61 media test failure - check cable" (I have no cable) then said out of PXErom; moves to the next screen, which lists the options: safe mode; safe mode with networking; safe mode with prompt local; Last Configeration well-known; Start windows normally.

Which have been tried and results in loading from page turns on for about 20 seconds, then just to abandon and trying all the whole process again (before flashing a blue screen) Windows.

Nothing seems to work - tried to take the battery on a... number oftimes and the power cable, but nothing helps.
It's already happened, but after a few false starts gets going - but this time he just don't come out it. I could not take others where locally, but I would prefer not to because I live in Spain and need the laptop as soon as possible and do not know, I want to leave it in some otherwise are hands to the risk of wipe them the hard drive.

So, I would be very grateful for any help as soon as possible and I fear tech short hand maybe having to explain.

    Thanks a lot, a lot.

    Hello

I think the problem is that the operating system is not found on the HARD drive.

The test failure PXEE61 media - check the cable appears especially if the laptop tries to boot from LAN.

Why the laptop is trying to boot from the local network?

    Well,.

-option may be the LAN was chosen first in the boot order in the BIOS
-Maybe the drive is defective and so the laptop is trying to boot from LAN
-the MBR (master boot record) is may be defective

I think you should take the Toshiba Recovery CD and need to format the HARD drive and needs to be reinstalled the operating system.
    This should help.

If not, then the HARD drive could malfunction and should be replaced!

  • "No boot device" after the BIOS doesn't load the Satellite L50 - B - 25 c

A friend who bought this laptop came up to me, explaining that he does not have to install an operating system. Then I tried it myself. I dusted off my original windows 7 pro 32 bit cd he jumped into the tray to cd and tried to boot from the cd by using the boot menu and bios boot order. the operation failed and even through I have cd was recognized by the bios the laptop not returned "no bootable device - restart device" error. So I tried to boot from usb NSB each usb port. The same unsuccessful result that happened. I then tried a USB bootable win7 64 bit and also failed.

Anyone have any ideas why the laptop is not booting? Could there be a part that is DOA? What is a bios problem? Council of State, I think to Flash the bios.

This laptop is brand new and never had anything installed on it.

    Thanks for the help!

HARD drive is recognized correctly in the BIOS?
If you want to downgrade from the Win7 machine, you must change secure boot option in the BIOS.

    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/TSB2C03F80002R01.htm

    You already changed option UEFI?

By the way: before installing own version checking OS, which version of Windows is supported for this machine.
Visit the download page of Toshiba on http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/dow...ivers_bios.jsp and which operating system versions are fully supported with all the necessary drivers, tools and utilities.
