  To uninstall the Dell webcam central software, perform the following steps:

  1. Click Start.
  2. Click on Control Panel.
  3. Using the drop down next to the view by: in the upper right, select large icons.
  4. Click programs and features.
  5. Click Dell Webcam Central.
  6. Click on uninstall.
  7. Confirm the uninstallation by clicking OK.
  8. Once uninstalled, restart the computer.

  Is it possible to update the video bios with out having a battery installed on your laptop?  My dell battery died a few months ago, so I've been running with it.  I Dj and video mix with this laptop and the software that I use in video playback (Win Amp, WMP, RealPlayer etc) sometimes becomes unstable.  With my computer experience, I have yet to find a work around.

  Any suggestions?

• Inspiron 15R 5520 strange problem

  My laptop is DELL Inspiron 15R 5520 and I bought it 3 years ago and it was nice but I recently had a problem with my laptop and I hope someone can identify the problem and help solve it.

  The problem is that my laptop makes 1 beep per second every time I press the power button and I had to hold the power button to turn off the laptop and the same thing continues 3 - 4 times until finally turns on and boots in Windows as usual. I was able to run diagnostics ePSA and it found no problems with Windows, I was able to run a test on the motherboard using the program Assistant to the support that I downloaded from DELL website, but the result of the test is passed. It seems that my laptop does not start in Windows as soon as the first test but she page and fail to start for a while and after several tests, it boots into Windows as it should. Can someone tell me what is the real reason behind this and how to fix this?

  Hello, I have updated my Dell Inspiron 15R laptop 5537 Windows 8 Pro to Windows Pro 8.1 by using the Application Store.

  After a wait of nearly 6 hours, update has been made and after the installation of Windows, display was black, cursor blinking... I checked in the Microsoft Web site, and I found that not only me and a lot of Dell customers are facing the same question. I luckily managed to start in safe mode and I uninstalled both of my video drivers and I'm back to my windows 8.1. After that I updated my video drivers as shown in the link below, always my screen turns off. If I had no other choice than the reset my pc to windows 8 pro.

  I should add that, first of all, I have improved my previous windows (W8.1 to W10 pro and everything worked perfectly (including the wireless network card) until I did a clean install of W10 pro... everything works fine except the adapter.)

  Also tried the drivers from the website of the manufacturer (DELL)... but no driver is listed for my card. I tried even to those who are listed IE wireless Dell 1703/1705/1901 & Dell Wireless 1704, but none of them worked. Also given a test for the drivers supplied by Intel... but has not worked.

  Well... seems that driver is not yet or I'm just missing.
  However when I search the drivers for another OS (like W8.1)... my driver for the card is registered, so South I return to W8.1 for now or just wait for the new drivers...!

  What have I done?

  Yet once, I did a clean install of W10... updated my drivers except the ones adapter!

  Instead of using the latest drivers, I downloaded the drivers for Bluetooth and Wi - Fi for an OS as W8 diffenent... even if I was not convinced that they r going to work... but anyway... thought to give it a try!
  AND THIS FIXED EVERYTHING!

  The drivers installed without hassle!
  AND EVERYTHING WORKS FINE NOW!

  I'm in the market for a new laptop computer, one old man gets a little tired.
  The Dell Inspiron 15R 5537 caught my attention like a good laptop new even if it has 'only' a dual core cpu. It's really the GPU dedicated that and the HD screen which makes it interesting. However after googling a bit I can see that there are few people have a problem with this laptop and the graphics card. It looks like only the Intel graphics are running and making games really lag. I'm not a big gamer, but again, if I buy a computer with a dedicated GPU so I want that not, runs the integrated chip.
  Anyone who is familiar with that? Is it possible to change the GPU in the BIOS on this particular model?

  Yes, I am now typing this Message from the Inspiron 5537 (i5 4GB 2 GB AMD). My laptop also have the problem with the GPU each games Hang and sometimes with errors when opening. The integrated graphics Drive Error Message poping up showing Intel HD Graphics is missing and the restart of Lap resolving the issue... Can still say about graphic AMD if im trying to install the graphics drive the laptop black full turns and nothing happen (having to reinstall the OS to ride again) anyway just some face this problem...   Currently looking to buy a DELL inspiron 15R for my 16 year old daughter.  She is interested in graphic design and will be studying it next year so also get Photoshop CS5.

  Specs I'm looking at are:
  Intel® Core™ i3 - 370 M processor (2. 4 Ghz, 4Threads, 3 MB cache)
  15.6 wide screen brilliant HD WLED with TrueLife™ (1366 x 768)
  4 GB OF RAM
  500 GB HDD 7200 RPM
  Intel® HD graphics card

  This laptop has the necessary "grunt" for photoshop.  It exceeds the system requirements for photoshop CS5. but the specs are usually slower than the reality.

  Should I update the chip of an i5?  Intel Core i5 460M (2.53 GHz/3 MB cache)

  or if I should change the video card to an ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 5650 - 1 GB dedicated card option?

  From my personal experience, I wouldn't go to an integrated card. This is one of the most important components for Photoshop, so invest in a decent graphics card (ATI or NVidia). It doesn't have to be an exepensive really one - I've been using ATI Radeon with 256 MB of RAM on my Dell Studio since nearly two years and it still rocks! (even when I'm working with Ps CS5 Extended 3D).

  I also invest in more RAM (it could be added easily - additional 4 GB, I bought because my Studio came with 3 GB).

  I wouldn't worry about the processor - I'm on Intel Core 2 Duo - and it works very very well, it's very fast which is very important because I'm training Photoshop.

  The topic of this thread is "Dell inspiron 15R n5010 no sound, Windows 10. The problem is that there is no model with this exact name. There is an Inspiron N5010 from 15and an Inspiron 15R N5110.

  They are different models and different drivers. In other words, the audio driver for the N5010 is not intended for the N5110 and vice versa.

  To complicate matters, someone named aimeehuang posted in this thread and put in a link named "dell 15r n5010 drivers download. But if you click on the link it goes to a page for Inspiron 15R N5110.

  The person named 'aimeehuang' is not used on this discussion forum and probably got confused model names.

  Check the name of your model. If you have an Inspiron 15 N5010, use driver IDT audio R280657. It is intended for Win7, so install in Win10 using compatibility mode (instructions below).

  If you have an Inspiron 15R N5110, use the IDT 6.10.0.6421 audio driver. It is intended for Windows 8. He could install without problems in Win10, but if there is a problem, install it using compatibility mode (instructions below).

  1. download and save the audio driver on your computer or to any location on the hard drive...
