I have a dell laptop and a Dell V510 printer can print via USB and WiFi connection.  I can print one document and have no problem.  When I try to print a second thing, whatever it is, it won't print... When I opened my printer dialog window it shows it is printing, but does not print... He keeps saying that it is printing until I restart my PC.  I can try to cancel printing or to delete and it will say delete but never remove...   In the latest batch of updates to Windows, Microsoft has installed Internet Explorer 11. IE11 caused printer problems.

  Open Internet Explorer, click on help, then click about words of Internet Explorer. It should show the version here. If you IE11, then go to control panel, Windows Update, updates installed, look for Internet Explorer 11. Click Internet Explorer 11, uninstall.

  Restart the computer when you are prompted. Then see if your printer works.

  There is no Windows 7 for the A940 drivers and Vista drivers are not compatible with Windows 7. You need a new printer.

  You missed Service Pack (right click on desktop and select properties)

  Often, but not always, the symptoms you describe are caused by a corrupt print job stuck in the queue or a damaged printer driver.  However before you clean things up, on general principles, that you can download, install, update and run full scans with each of these two free programs:

  AntiMailware MalwareBytes
  SUPERAntiSpyware

  Do not operate the two scans simultaneously.  Each will take a long time, so start it and then go do something else for a while.

  Cleaning of printers
