Deployment by default oacore_server

Hello

We have two servers to applications with load balancer. And in each application server, we have 2 oacore managed servers.

On Node2 oacore_server2 deployment failed. How can I make it active?

Please confirm that the file system is mounted as per (Doc ID 1375769.1), the step 4.2

Thank you

Hussein

    The first thought that comes to mind is that you are sure that you connect to the server administrator? The Runtime MBean Server domain is available on the Server Admin so if you are targeting a managed server, this error would make sense perfect. If the administrator of the server target, you can use the WebLogic Console to display server JNDI tree to make sure that the name of "weblogic.management.mbeanservers.domainruntime" is correctly linked.

  • [JDev12.1.2, ADF, GlassFish 4] A few questions on the tutorial of Shay "Deploy Oracle ADF Essentials Applications to Glassfish"

    Hallo (Shay),

    I want to deploy my application Web ADF to GlassFish that is installed on a different server from the development computer.

    The application interacts with a MS SQL Server database.

    I have some doubts/questions on the tutorial of Shay https://blogs.oracle.com/shay/entry/deploying_oracle_adf_applications_to

    So far in the development phase, I deployed the application only to the JDeveloper-itegrated WebLogic Server on the development computer.

    Creating a connection pool

    • I could successfully creates a pool of connections only by copying the sqljdbc4.jar library in the C:\glassfish4\glassfish\libdirectory. Is this OK or should the library remain in C:\glassfish4\glassfish\domains\domain1\lib?
    • Is there a way to hide the password in the additional properties?
    • Is there any setting for the property should do (especially for MS SQL Server)? For example, somewhere I read that the isolation of transactions should be set to read uncommitted... but I did not understand why.
    • What is the difference between types java.sql.DataSource resources and java.sql.XADataSource?

    In JDeveloper application configuration

    • Since the beginning of its development, the local configuration of the application Module has the name of data source (JDBC data source) set to java: comp/env/jdbc/MyDatabase_DB_SQLServerDS. If I change this field value to jdbc / < name_of_jdbc_resource_created_in_GlassFish >, as in the tutorial of Shay, it is not longer possible to run the application in JDeveloper (so using the WebLogic JDeveloper-itegrated server). Why? What's wrong?
    • JDeveloper offers only the choiche GlassFish 3.1 as a platform for the deployment, but I'll use GlassFish 4. Perhaps this cause problems?

    Taking care of the libraries used by the application

    • In the project properties, between the libraries and railways class there are a few additional libraries I've used in applications. Here's the JAR files I put in C:\JDeveloper\lib. I copy these libraries on the production server? If Yes, where?

    Other questions

    • What is the difference between putting a library in the lib of GlassFish folder and put it in the folder lib of Domain1?
    • Deployment procedure used by Shay in his tutorial might also be used to deploy the application on a remote production server?
    • Is there a way to manually delploy an application, for example by copying manually under GlassFish project folder?
    • My final goal is as follows. I have a clean Setup that allows me (1) to continue to run the application in JDeveloper on its built-in WLS, (2) to test the application to the GlassFish that I have installed on the computer development and (3) delploy the application on the remote production server. Could help me do that?

    These are a lot of questions.

    I thank in advance all the users who want to respond and I hope that the answers to these questions will help also others.

    Ciao,.

    Federico

    Federico - most of your questions is generic Glassfish questions that do not specifically have anything to do with ADF - I recommend that you post on the forum of Glassfish. (Or read the Glassfish documentation for things like the difference between directories and deployment/admin console).

    >>

    • Since the beginning of its development, the local configuration of the application Module has the name of data source (JDBC data source) parameter tojava:comp / env/jdbc/MyDatabase_DB_SQLServerDS. If I change the value of this field of jdbc /, as in the tutorial of Shay, it is not longer possible to run the application in JDeveloper (so using the WebLogic JDeveloper-itegrated server). Why? What is the problem?

    This is because JDeveloper uses an integrated WebLogic when you run and therefor cannot use the data source of Glassfish.

    I suggest that make you this change only when you go to deploy on Glassfish.

    >>

    • JDeveloper offers only the choiche GlassFish 3.1 as a platform for the deployment, but I'll use GlassFish 4. Perhaps this cause problems?

    We don't know, as the matrix of certification for the ADF will show that we have not tested/certified this combination.

    Oracle JDeveloper and ADF 12 c (12.1.3) supported systems

    • In the project properties, between the libraries and railways class there are a few additional libraries I've used in applications. Here's the JAR files that I put inC:\JDeveloper\lib. I copy these libraries on the production server? If Yes, where?

    Use the properties of project-> libraries and class path to add the jar or create a library and add it to your project.

    Make sure that this library is deployed by default.

  • SQLJ ok Java app but jax - ws will not deploy

    H,

    I'm new to Jdeveloper (currently using 12.1.2.0.0) and I haven't used Java for some time. So I apologize if the question is stupid.

    I have problems with the current project, I decided to write a very simple java application using sqlj and make sure that it would work. The application works perfectly. Please see below.

    = java file with Main class =.

    package sqlj.test2;

    import java.sql.SQLException;

    public class sqlj_test {}

    public sqlj_test() {}

    Super();

    }

    Public Shared Sub main (String [] args) throws SQLException {}

    sqlj_test sqlj_test = new sqlj_test();

    REF FREHandler.

    int tmp = 100037;

    String ImageBase64Encoded;

    try {}

    REF = new FREHandler();

    ImageBase64Encoded = fre.getImgBase64 (tmp);

    System.out.println (ImageBase64Encoded);

    } catch (SQLException e) {}

    System.out.println ("error code:" + e.getErrorCode () + "error msg:"+ e.getMessage () ');

    String sqlState = e.getSQLState ();

    System.out.println ("SQL State:"+ sqlState ");

    }

    }

    }

    ================================ FRE_Handler.sqlj ========================================

    package sqlj.test2;

    to import java.sql.DriverManager;

    import java.sql.SQLException;

    Import oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver;

    Import sqlj.runtime.ref.DefaultContext;

    public class FREHandler {}

    CTX DefaultContext.

    public getCtx() {} DefaultContext

    return ctx;

    }

    Public FREHandler() throws SQLException {}

    Super();

    try {}

    DriverManager.registerDriver (new OracleDriver());

    java.sql.Connection conn = DriverManager.getConnection ("jdbc:oracle:thin:@obase-bip6:1521:orcl", "PUT", "$2012 DasuMet");

    DefaultContext.setDefaultContext (new DefaultContext (conn));

    CTX = DefaultContext.getDefaultContext ();

    } catch (SQLException e) {}

    System.out.println ("error code:" + e.getErrorCode () + "error msg:"+ e.getMessage () ');

    String sqlState = e.getSQLState ();

    System.out.println ("SQL State:"+ sqlState ");

    }

    }

    Get the picture to format base 64 encoded for the user of the URN Ref number entry application

    public String getImgBase64 (int i) throws SQLException {exception

    int jctcr = i;

    String limgbase64 = "";

    #sql limgbase64 = {VALUES (FGET_IMGCLOB_FROM_URN (: IN jctcr))};

    System.out.println ("public String getImgBase64 (int i) return"+ limgbase64);

    Return limgbase64;

    }

    }

    =============================================================

    The problem is that when it transformed into a jax - ws without changing the code, except for the failure of the main class. I get such error as shown below.

    = SQLJ file with Service WS =.

    package sqlj.test3;

    import java.sql.SQLException;

    Import javax.jws.WebMethod;

    Import javax.jws.WebService;

    Import oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver;

    Import sqlj.runtime.ref.DefaultContext;

    Import oracle.sqlj.runtime.Oracle;

    @WebService

    public class FRE_Handler {}

    CTX DefaultContext.

    Public FRE_Handler() throws SQLException {}

    Super();

    try {}

    Tested this style of connection as stand-alone Java application and it works

    java.sql.DriverManager.registerDriver (new OracleDriver());

    java.sql.Connection conn = java.sql.DriverManager.getConnection ("jdbc:oracle:thin:@obase-bip6:1521:orcl", "PUT", "$2012 DasuMet");

    sqlj.runtime.ref.DefaultContext.setDefaultContext (new DefaultContext (conn));

    CTX = sqlj.runtime.ref.DefaultContext.getDefaultContext ();

    } catch (SQLException e) {}

    System.out.println ("error code:" + e.getErrorCode () + "error msg:"+ e.getMessage () ');

    String sqlState = e.getSQLState ();

    System.out.println ("SQL State:"+ sqlState ");

    }

    }

    @WebMethod

    public String getImgBase64 (int i) throws SQLException {exception

    int jctcr = i;

    String limgbase64 = "";

    #sql limgbase64 = {VALUES (FGET_IMGCLOB_FROM_URN (: IN jctcr))};

    System.out.println ("public String getImgBase64 (int i) return"+ limgbase64);

    Return limgbase64;

    }

    }

    This is because the SQLJ library does not come as part of WebLogic and is not deployed by default.

    You can add the jar for SQLJ file in the lib of your WebLogic domain directory or set the default Runtime SQLJ Jdeveloper to deploy library.

  • Assign host names to deployed VM based on the assigned IP address DNS record

    Hello

    I'm trying to set up Lab Manager in a lab environment. The laboratory uses static IP, so I set up static IP pools that will assign an IP address to a deployed virtual computer. However, Lab Manager requires that you provide the hostname before you deploy (the default is ConfigXXVMY, XX and there is a number (ex.) Config30VM0). We already have DNS records to our IP addresses, and we need the hostname to match with the IP address.

    For example, the IP 192.168.1.5 has a labpc5.ourlab.company.com DNS record, and the host name should be labpc5.

    When I deploy a model, Sysprep runs and it will change all network information, but it changes the hostname of this ConfigXXVMY, not the host name that resolves the IP address is assigned. I need to know how to fix this, or if there is a kind of way to make that change to pre or post sysprep.

    Note: I tested this especially with Windows Server 2003 and 2008 - I intend to eventually include Linux OS and this issue also apply here.

    If someone has an entry that could help me solve this problem, I would really appreciate it.

    Thank you.

    Yes, if the network works immediately after sysprep and before you reboot... then just write a post customization.

    Pre and post customization are command line arguments.

    i.e.

    PREandPOSTscript.bat postcustomization

    There, you'll need something like this:

    off @echo

    If "% 1" == "precustomization")

    tasks precustomization echo

    ) ElseIf '%1% ' == 'postcustomization')

    tasks postcustomization echo

    ) (other)

    unknown command line Echo

    )

    The syntax is another post here: http://communities.vmware.com/thread/167069

  • Deploy with custom libraries

    Hello

    I'm trying to test/deployment of my application. In the application, I use a library for logging (log4j).
    Successfully, I included the library in the model and used in the code.
    The compilation of the code but when I try to deploy the integrated weblogic server, I get this error:

    Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.apache.log4j.Logger

    I'm missing some step to include the custom library during the deploy?

    Thank you

    You mark the library that you have added to deploy by default?

    You can pass the property 'score' with the name of partition custom when you call the target "deploy" ant - sca - deploy.xml

  • JDeveloper PL/SQL WebService deployment to use the connection pool

    Hello

    JDeveloper/OAS 10.1.3.4

    We have generated Web Services based on package/procs of PL/SQL by using wizard. When we deploy, it generates a new pool of connections and the connection on the OAS. If change us the Web Service in JDev to use a connection Pool existing and redeployment, it always creates a new connection/connection pool.

    Change: oracle - webservices.xml, web.xml, and < ServiceName > base.java files

    Anyone know how to get around this without using WebServicesAssembler?

    Thank you

    When you deploy the server, don't include any local data sources. In JDeveloper:
    1. choose Tools > Preferences to display the Preferences dialog box.
    2. Select the deployment on the left side.
    3 uncheck data - sources.xml during deployment of default package.
    This can be changed later for other projects if you do not want to deploy the data source.

    Concerning

    Hello Krishna,

    I tried to deploy it on JDev Integrated server, but the error continued. I inscreased the logging of finest oracle.adf.share.ADFContext have more details about the deployment he self.

    AFTE searcing the deployment log, I found that the deployment was looking for the patterns on the MDS and could not find. I'm not using MDS directly, but I'm making reference to a diagram of another project within the same application. This is probably why the mds has been used for. I moved this scheme for the same project and the deployment worked without problems. I'm going to deploy on the other weblogic server to ensure that everything is ok.

    Again, thank you very much for your help!

    Kind regards

    Antonio

  • BEA-000362 < server failed. At least a migratable target is configured with automatic migration. Before the automatic migration of any type can be used, the MigrationBasis must be defined in the ClusterMBean. If the database is selected, then DataSourc

    It may sound crazy that I am answering my own post. As he complains about MigrationBasis. I tried to go to the config.xml file and changed

    Cluster-0

    unicast

    database

    TO

    Cluster-0

    unicast

    consensus

    And at least I was able to restart Server Admin and go to the Server Admin page. The Cluster-> Configuration-> Migration is always on view from database as the basis for Migration.

  • Change the color of 1 link of the Bootstrap navigation bar

    Hello

    I am eager to pass the roll of color of a link in the navigation bar of bootraps.

    I tried a class on this subject... no luck... I can change all the nav bar color... but I just want a roll of color of the item...

    All thoughts

    PAL

    Place the following in your custom stylesheet (do not touch the stylesheet (s)) original of Bootstrap

    .NavBar - default .navbar-nav > li > a: hover, .navbar - default .navbar-nav > li > a: focus {}

    background-color: #FFFF00;

    color: #FFC0CB;

    }

    This assumes that you have deployed the default navigation bar. If you use a different class, also adjust the colors to suit.

  • creating custom c.war images, similar to i.war. -context does not

    ADR 3.0.65.09.31 beta

    I am trying to create a file of c.war custom images, similar to how it creates the file i.war for images satic APEX.

    The directions say:

    java-jar ords.war static [-context] < location >

    Options:

    [- context] The context in which path the

    WAR will be deployed,

    default value: / i

    Arguments:

    The location where the Oracle

    Request static Express

    resources are stored

    but I have yet to find any combination of syntax that will give me a war which maps to / c instead of / i, by default.

    For example:

    C:\oracle\ords3.0.0.65.09.31 > java-jar ords.war static - context/c C:\oracle\custom_htmldb

    Generation of WAR full

    Location of WAR: C:\oracle\ords3.0.0.65.09.31\i.war

    Context path: / i

    Static resources: C:\oracle\custom_htmldb

    Ensure that the static resources are available at the path: C:\oracle\custom_htmldb

    on the server where the WAR is deployed

    and

    C:\oracle\ords3.0.0.65.09.31 > java-jar ords.war static-/ c C:\oracle\custom_ht

    MLDB

    java-jar ords.war static [-context] < location >

    Options:

    [- context] The context in which path the

    WAR will be deployed,

    default value: / i

    Arguments:

    The location where the Oracle

    Request static Express

    resources are stored

    -/ c is not a valid option

    and variations using quotation marks and apostrophes - all results in the same, / i Gets the mapping or even get directions.

    It must be something really simple.

    Help, please!

    Thank you

    Hi ramzi,.

    wpdonna wrote:

    Have figured this out? I have the same problem here. The default context path always / i, - context-path is not a valid option.

    With ords.3.0.1.177.18.02 - context-path works.

    For example:

    java -jar ords.war static --context-path /c  C:\oracle\custom_htmldb

    There was bug in 3.0.0 ADR that is resolved now:

    BUG: 21053432 -support for static resources file creation war with context path custom

    Hello, does anyone know how to disable the item 'show 'Start' workspace when no documents are open"in the General preferences (11.3 InDesign (version 2015.3) via script or command?):

    I'm about to deploy several other parameters with CC2015 via script .jsx in the startup scripts folder; a parameter I did was turn off the frame of the Application (app.generalPreferences.useApplicationFrame = false ;)

    I thought that this setting would hide the workspace of starting, but when the startup script runs this command, instead, I see more buggy behavior, a random window appears with the news of the workspace of departure, and then InDesign freezes completely.

    See attached screenshot3.

    I have deploy a default file, this setting but really tried to get away from that and would like to find a way to disable this check box with a command or a script... I searched around the object model and cannot find it.

    Much obliged for all help!
