Deployment of a JHeadstart application components?

I wonder how to deploy the application in a small project of JHeadstart. The application needs windows key and 12 Assistant windows.

As the windows Wizard (of course) are closely related to one of the two main windows there is an application definition file (listing all the wizard and the main window).

Currently, the entire application is deployed at the same time. It works very well. What I want is to deploy only the parts of the application, allows not to say that new wizards has not been deployed.

My question is if it's OK and advicable to deploy parts of the application. If so, I don't expect to get all the details on how to do it here. Reading tips would be appreciated.

J2EE only allows for the deployment of a complete web application. You cannot transfer (new) parts of a web application.

So, if you want to deploy the wiuzards separately, then you must create separate ViewController projects and deploy them as separate web applications. But then they do not share session state, and users need to reconnect for each wizard (unless you use Single Sign-On).

JHeadstart team.

    For the version of the SDK BlackBerry Smartphone (i.e. BBOS), please note that you need JDK1.6 and there are also 32 bits.

    Can you please try this change (uninstall previous versions of the JDK/JRE) and only install JDK1.6 32-bit (it will automatically install the JRE too.)

    As well, I see a problem in the community newspapers:

    [exec] [ERROR] Invalid application - archive name of archive is not valid

    There seems to be a problem with the name of the ZIP file:

    Can you please try to remove the symbols _ the name of the archive?

    on linux, I am planning to install foundation, Essbase and planning.

    now my question is when you perform the configuration for HFM and FDMEE, I need to deploy the java web application for HFM and FDMEE on windows.

    so everything by deploying web applications in java on windows that I put a different name for "domain name".

    as linux domain name will be 'EPMSystem', so for windows it would be different as 'EPMSystem1'.

    There will be no problem if the domain names are the same for both linux and windows?

    and for weblogic server port must be different as 7001 on linux and 7002 on HFM?

  • Missing application components

    I am a fairly new user of CC. I mostly used Lightroom but start Photoshop a couple of times, but not for a few months. Yesterday I hit command-E from Lightroom on my Mac to use content-aware fill in Photoshop, but got a box saying "among application components are missing from the Application directory, please reinstall the application. I found that if I just waited a long time (like five minutes or more), a box eventually jump to the top that says "the file could not change because Adobe Photoshop CC could not be launched." But I also found that if I run Photoshop by double-clicking it in the Finder, it would begin end and would load the photo that I tried to work.

    So I used the application creative cloud to uninstall and reinstall Photoshop. It twice and always well behaved. Then I did a search and found a help page says Adobe to remove the locale folder and reinstall. I deleted the locale folder, but when I went back to Creative cloud I could not uninstall nor reinstall Photoshop like application CC says "Waiting." "Apart from Photoshop. I waited for half an hour and nothing happened. Then I discovered a uninstall application in the directory Photoshop CC so I tried to uninstall. Now the app CC said something else (I don't remember exactly what I had to get back to work) but I can not yet either uninstall or install Photoshop. I tried to close the CC application but when I restart it the situation is the same. I also tried to disconnect, but nothing happens.

    Any suggestions? I use the latest version of El Capitan.

    I found a solution!

    OS X has what is called a launch Services database. I think he's new in the latest version or two. It is supposed to make it easier for an application to launch another application, without using the Finder (I'm hardly an expert - I just did some research after I fell my landline). Unfortunately the data base can be screwed up. You can tell if it is messed up by right clicking on a document and then selecting 'open with... ». If multiple versions of an application are listed (for example, multiple versions of Photoshop when right-clicking on a file jpeg or Preview), then your database needs to repair.

    In any case, I used 3 CleanMyMac to repair the launch services database, and the problem disappeared.

    I have no idea how the database is corrupt or why uninstall and reinstall Photoshop does not she, but everything works fine now.

    Thanks to those who have tried to help.

  • Changes on request not visible when it is deployed in the weblogic application server

    Hi all

    I have an ADF faces application that runs on a weblogic server.
    Application works fine, but I added a few features on some pages.

    I tested it with Jdeveloper and the build in weblogic server, that works very well.
    Now, I have deployed my application (trough the menu application-> deploy) to the weblogic server.

    When I open the application now, I don't see the changes I made!
    In the menu that I did run Build-> Make and Build-> rebuild but this did not help.

    What is causing this behavior?

    Thank you is advanced.

    Try first cancel the deployment of the server application, and then deploy it again.
    Then, you clear the browsers cache...

  • [JDev12.1.2, ADF, GlassFish 4] A few questions on the tutorial of Shay "Deploy Oracle ADF Essentials Applications to Glassfish"

    Hallo (Shay),

    I want to deploy my application Web ADF to GlassFish that is installed on a different server from the development computer.

    The application interacts with a MS SQL Server database.

    I have some doubts/questions on the tutorial of Shay https://blogs.oracle.com/shay/entry/deploying_oracle_adf_applications_to

    So far in the development phase, I deployed the application only to the JDeveloper-itegrated WebLogic Server on the development computer.

    Creating a connection pool

    • I could successfully creates a pool of connections only by copying the sqljdbc4.jar library in the C:\glassfish4\glassfish\libdirectory. Is this OK or should the library remain in C:\glassfish4\glassfish\domains\domain1\lib?
    • Is there a way to hide the password in the additional properties?
    • Is there any setting for the property should do (especially for MS SQL Server)? For example, somewhere I read that the isolation of transactions should be set to read uncommitted... but I did not understand why.
    • What is the difference between types java.sql.DataSource resources and java.sql.XADataSource?

    In JDeveloper application configuration

    • Since the beginning of its development, the local configuration of the application Module has the name of data source (JDBC data source) set to java: comp/env/jdbc/MyDatabase_DB_SQLServerDS. If I change this field value to jdbc / < name_of_jdbc_resource_created_in_GlassFish >, as in the tutorial of Shay, it is not longer possible to run the application in JDeveloper (so using the WebLogic JDeveloper-itegrated server). Why? What's wrong?
    • JDeveloper offers only the choiche GlassFish 3.1 as a platform for the deployment, but I'll use GlassFish 4. Perhaps this cause problems?

    Taking care of the libraries used by the application

    • In the project properties, between the libraries and railways class there are a few additional libraries I've used in applications. Here's the JAR files I put in C:\JDeveloper\lib. I copy these libraries on the production server? If Yes, where?

    Other questions

    • What is the difference between putting a library in the lib of GlassFish folder and put it in the folder lib of Domain1?
    • Deployment procedure used by Shay in his tutorial might also be used to deploy the application on a remote production server?
    • Is there a way to manually delploy an application, for example by copying manually under GlassFish project folder?
    • My final goal is as follows. I have a clean Setup that allows me (1) to continue to run the application in JDeveloper on its built-in WLS, (2) to test the application to the GlassFish that I have installed on the computer development and (3) delploy the application on the remote production server. Could help me do that?

    These are a lot of questions.

    I thank in advance all the users who want to respond and I hope that the answers to these questions will help also others.

    Ciao,.

    Federico

    Federico - most of your questions is generic Glassfish questions that do not specifically have anything to do with ADF - I recommend that you post on the forum of Glassfish. (Or read the Glassfish documentation for things like the difference between directories and deployment/admin console).

    >>

    • Since the beginning of its development, the local configuration of the application Module has the name of data source (JDBC data source) parameter tojava:comp / env/jdbc/MyDatabase_DB_SQLServerDS. If I change the value of this field of jdbc /, as in the tutorial of Shay, it is not longer possible to run the application in JDeveloper (so using the WebLogic JDeveloper-itegrated server). Why? What is the problem?

    This is because JDeveloper uses an integrated WebLogic when you run and therefor cannot use the data source of Glassfish.

    I suggest that make you this change only when you go to deploy on Glassfish.

    >>

    We don't know, as the matrix of certification for the ADF will show that we have not tested/certified this combination.

    Use the properties of project-> libraries and class path to add the jar or create a library and add it to your project.

    Make sure that this library is deployed by default.

  • Deployment of an AIR application

    UM,.
    My apologies for cluttering this forum very well with the legal aspects, but my boss wants to know if we can deploy a Flex/AIR of a CD or DVD. Looks like a pretty innocuous lack, but the excerpt of the license agreement I enclose below (Section 2.1.1 (a). (B)) seems to suggest that an application can only be deployed on my web site. I know that the chances are slim, but anyone know if I can deploy my application from anywhere other than a website?

    Thank you.

    Flex license agreement
    2.1 SDK components.
    2.1.1 license Grant.
    (a) SDK components. Subject to the terms and conditions of this agreement, Adobe grants Licensee no exclusive, transferable license (A) to use the components of the SDK for the sole purpose of developing developer programs in-house and (B) use the components of the SDK as part of the licensee's website for the sole purpose of compiling the programs of the developer, distributed through the licensee's Web site.

    Yes, you can deploy. In this case, you would be under (a), you develop a developer program that you have the right to deploy however you like. (B) section is for when you are using the Flex SDK kit as part of your own website (essentially as a process as part of the application logic) to create applications. What we mean to ban it (and I should note that this should not be interpreted as legal advice in connection with Adobe) uses the SDK to create Flex applications for other people who they can distribute then (in the snap-in, do not be a compiler hosted on a large scale).

    Finally, the issue is resovled. I followed the steps in the Doc ID 1354918.1

    1. backup config/fmwconfig/oam-config.xml*, cwallet.sso

    2. connect to wlst shell in online mode and run the following to clean of the CSF:

    deleteCred (map = "OAM_STORE", key = "jks")

    deleteCred (map = "OAM_SYSTEM_CONFIG", key = "jks")

    deleteCred (map = "OAM_CONFIG", key = "jks")

    deleteCred (map = "OSTS_CONFIG", key = "jks")

    deleteCred (map = "sts", key = "stskeystorepassword")

    deleteCred (card = "m", key = "osts_signing_template")

    deleteCred (card = "m", key = "osts_encryption_template")

    OR connect to the console of EM. Click right field---> safety---> credentials.

    and deleted all the files OAM_STORE, OAM_SYSTEM_CONFIG, OAM_CONFIG, OSTS_CONFIG, m

    3 bring down the field (Admin and managed servers)

    4. Remove .oamkeystore

    5. start the domain (Admin and managed servers)

    As soon as this oam_server1 is coming with all the deployed application and also in oamconsole server instances indicates oam_server1, while earlier he showed as AMSERVER1

    I still don't know what is the cause of this problem but for now its working. Might be a bug in this version 11.1.1.7.0

    I managed to solve the problem of deployment by modifying the deployment under the Application properties configuration:

    1. unselect Auto Generate and Synchronize weblogic - jdbc.xml deployment descriptors

    2 deselect the credentials under Security Deployment Options

    3 deselect users and groups under deployment and Security Options

    I think auto generation of weblogic deployment descriptor - jdbc.xml was most probably the origin of the problem.

    Thank you.

    Thank you!

    Thanks for the unit test.
    My suspicion was right, when I try to run the tester on request of HRModule module, I get the following error:

    (oracle.jbo.JboException) Houston-26059: invalid use of link see 'EmpManagerFkLink3 '. Either the "oracle.hr.model.service.HRModule.CreateEmployeesView" source or destination 'null' is not defined.

    If you look in the XML application module, you can see the following:

    <>
    Name = "EmpManagerFkLink3".
    ViewLinkObjectName = "oracle.hr.model.queries.EmpManagerFkLink"
    SrcViewUsageName = "oracle.hr.model.service.HRModule.CreateEmployeesView"
    Reversed = "false" / >
    <>
    Name = "EmpManagerFkLink2".
    ViewLinkObjectName = "oracle.hr.model.queries.EmpManagerFkLink"
    SrcViewUsageName = "oracle.hr.model.service.HRModule.CreateEmployeesView"
    DstViewUsageName = "oracle.hr.model.service.HRModule.NewSubordinates"
    Reversed = "false" / >

    For some reason, the DstViewUsageName property is missing from EmpManagerFkLink3. That should not happen.
    If you add this property, by copying from EmpManagerFkLink2, then everything works perfectly again, and the JHeadstart generator works OK.

    The tutorial should be up-to-date, so please report any errors you find in the tutorial, so we can fix this.

    Thank you
