Deployment of third party EJB 3.0 jar in web application

I have a web application that calls the services provided by the EJB 3.0 beans packaged in the container of a third. How do one configure the web application project to deploy the beans to the on-board OC4J container when I run the application? The jar file is the reference by the project, and I have a META-INF/application.xml referencing these in the form of modules EJB jar files. I set the Version property of the EJB 3.0, but the annotated list of EJB 3.0 bean Classes remains empty, probably because I have no bean defined in the application sources. When you run the project, the oc4j container warns that the EJB module contains no bean. I want to deploy the beans in the jar file, but cannot figure out how.

Thank you
Steve

Hello

We used some ejb - jar.xml to save beans session EJB3 jars of third JDeveloer 11 g TP4 (who used oc4j). The only difference was, alongside third-party beans, we had our own beans of session (that does not need to be registered in the ejb - jar file. (XML).
Here's how we did it

      MySessionBean
      MySessionBean
      some.package.MySessionBeanRemote
      some.package.MySessionBean
      Stateless
      Container

I hope that helps you a bit.

  • Deploy an icon on the BlackBerry smartphone to a web application or URL

    Hello

    I want to deploy an icon on the BlackBerry for a web application is home.  When the user click on this icon, I automatically want to launch my web app (URL).

    I found this article:

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/knowledgecenterpublic/livelink.exe/fetch/2000/348583/800708/800655/How_To _...

    And I read about 'push channel browser', which seems to do exactly what I want to do:

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/knowledgecenterpublic/livelink.exe/fetch/2000/7979/1181821/832210/Developi...

    I did a test with my Blackberry that is connected to a BES, and it works very well using the code example.

    My question is this, 'channel browser push' can be used for Blackberry that is not configured in our BES.

    For example, I want to be able to deploy an icon on the Blackberry from customers and suppliers we have, but these Blackberries are not related at all our BES or network.

    Is it possible to do this?  If so, should I do something special to make it work?

    If not, does that mean my only solution is to create a Java application that automatically launch the browser Blackberry (second option from the first link)?

    Thanks for your help!

    Channel browser push you make reference to requires the user is on a BlackBerry Enterprise Server.

    The alternatives to this is a Java application (as you have discovered), BlackBerry Widget or Signal of Web.  Web signals is the equivalent to a BlackBerry Internet Server Browser channel thrust.

  • NoClassDefFoundError (false name) for third party jar

    Hello

    We have a java plugin and html which uses the jar of some third-party libraries. We converted these pots of OSGi bundle. When virgo server is running to eclipse (localhost:9443), the plugin works fine. The problem is when the plugin is installed on a vcenter and launched WebClient connected to vcenter(vCenterDNS:9443), a thirdParty/pkg/C NoClassDefFoundError (alias: thirdParty /pkg/c) error is thrown as seen in the newspapers of blank server (for a class in the third container). Import-package all declarations of export-package look good.

    I wonder why it works in the development environment, but not in vcenter?

    A difference that I've noticed, in the development environment, I place the jars in vsphere-customer-sdk\server\repository\usr\ directory and also project buildpath points to it. In vcenter, I see the jars in C:\ProgramData\VMware\vCenterServer\cfg\vsphere-client\vc-packages\vsphere-client-serenity\myPlugin-1.0.0.0\ and I find the jar extracted to C:\Program Files\VMware\vCenter Server\WebClient\server\work\deployer\s\global\125. Development environment has all extracted copy of the jar in the global directory.

    No, we ask one of the functions of third party jar, who then tries to access class c. C is not returned to our service.

    If you use this 3rd pot party in one of your boots, you can try to package it in your jar. This way you won't need to deal with import packages.

  • Agent JAVA EE - where should I put third party jdbc database drivers?

    Hello

    I need to move from stand-alone agent to ee java agent deployed on weblogic server. This is my independent agent configuration:
    -jdbc drivers of third-party required for integration with third party database servers: mysql and firebird. When you use autonomous agent, I put the driver files corresponding to the directory of the agent/drivers and it works. Where should I put third-party drivers to make them visible to java ee officer?
    -configuration of the agent of database coneection: non-standard options you need. When you use autonomous agent, I need to change some of the options in the agent/bin/odiparams.sh file:
    ODI_CONNECTION_RETRY_COUNT = 1000
    ODI_CONNECTION_RETRY_DELAY = 7000
    How to install agent java ee in the same way? Is this possible? I need my agent to connect to the repository (oracle database) in the case where when the connection is lost.

    Can you help me?

    You can add the jars to D:\Oracle\Middleware\wlserver_10.3\server\ext
    and then add the path of the driver jar at the entrance WEBLOGIC_CLASSPATH in the location of the commonEnv.bat file in the folder bin (D:\Oracle\Middleware\wlserver_10.3\common\bin).
    Restart the server instance.

  • Access to the objects in third-party systems

    Using the extract of code found in the section "to access objects in third-party systems" vSphere 5.5 documentation, I found a problem that I can't seem to overcome.

    Snippet (directly from the documentation):

    URI uri = URI.create ("https://orchestrator1:8283/vco/api");

    SessionFactory VcoSessionFactory = new DefaultVcoSessionFactory (uri);

    Enter the address of the server vCenter Single Sign-On

    SsoUri URI = URI.create ("https://vCenter1:7444/ims/STSService?") wsdl") ;

    define tokens to be valid for one hour

    long lifeTimeSeconds = 60 * 60;

    Create a vCenter factory chips Single Sign-On

    SSO SsoAuthenticator = new SsoAuthenticator (ssoUri, sessionFactory, lifeTimeSeconds);

    There is no class in vSphere or Orchestrator libraries that can be imported to manage the object 'SsoAuthenticator '.  My goal is to use this code to get the token for the REST API on Orchestrator calls to run workflows.  Any help in accomplishing my goal would be appreciated.

    Either way, another approach to get the token using a SOAP call works (I used the AcquireBearerTokenByUserCredentialSample found in the documentation with success); However, I thought I would ask the forum a glimpse on the fate of the class associated with SsoAuthenticator in case there is something that I am missing.

    Hi Scott,.

    Class of SsoAuthenticator lie in o11n-rest-client - sso.jar, part of the Java REST SDK vCO.

    There are some errors in your code:

    In fact, you needn't get the UNIQUE authentication token. We support basic authentication with name of user and password in the SSO. Take a look at the following code sample who seeks stocks 'Rename Datacenter"workflow by ID:

  • Call EJB 3.1 deployed in Glassfish 3.1 from a web application in Tomcat7

    I have a bean EJB 3.1 deployed on server Glassfish 3.1.1. I want to call this a remote web client deployed in Tomcat 7 bean. The EJB class and its remote interface is as follows...

    Remote interface-

    @Remote
    public interface MyEJBRemote
    {
    public String sayHello();
    }
    EJB bean-

    @Stateless
    / public class MyEJB implements MyEJBRemote
    {

    public String sayHello()
    {
    Return "Hello EJB Client.» Hope everything works perfectly. « ;
    }

    }
    In the remote client, I have the following code

    Properties props = new Properties ();

    props.setProperty ("java.naming.factory.initial", "com.sun.enterprise.naming.SerialInitContextFactory");
    props.setProperty ("java.naming.factory.url.pkgs", "com.sun.enterprise.naming");
    props.setProperty ("java.naming.factory.state", "com.sun.corba.ee.impl.presentation.rmi.JNDIStateFactoryImpl");
    props.setProperty ("org.omg.CORBA.ORBInitialHost", "localhost");
    props.setProperty ("org.omg.CORBA.ORBInitialPort", "3700");

    InitialContext ic = new InitialContext (props);

    MyEJBRemote myEJBREmote = (MyEJBRemote)ic.lookup("java:global/MyEJB-1/MyEJB!com.dw.ejb.MyEJBRemote");
    Now the problem is with the last line of code. In Eclise that line of code is marked as error as the MyEJBRemote class is not there in the project of the client (the web application will be deployed in tomcat 7). So where can I get the client generated of the EJB jar deployed to include in the client project? Is it possible to generate this jar file.

    I tried to use the command of glassfish

    asadmin deploy generatermistubs recover. MyEJB.jar
    But glassfish doesn't generate any file MyEJB - client.jar. I tried many times but without success. I read a lot of forums. In one of them, it was mentioned that of EJB 3.1, glassfish does not generate the client stubs.

    Does that mean that you cannot use remote clients of EJB 3.1 in Glasssfish more? Because the client project will never compile without the MyEJB - client.jar.

    You don't have to produce anything, you need the class business interface in your client application (in this case MyEJBRemote). One way to do that is to put the interfaces of the company in a separate pot and the link that jar in the projects of your client and the server. Glassfish FAQ 3 documents the need to include the class business interface in your client application:

    http://GlassFish.Java.NET/JavaEE5/EJB/EJB_FAQ.html#StandaloneRemoteEJB

    Another option is to turn the EJB into a JAX - WS Web service, which can be as easy as only adding a few annotations. In this way, that you need not all additional dependencies at all; the only thing you need to do is generate stub classes using the wsimport (also part of the JDK) for your client application. I'm not a big fan of SOAP, but for internal use, I think it's lighter and more portable than remote EJB.

    I can't offer more advice on the topic that I do not use Glassfish. To help you, I advise you to ask in the Glassfish forum where you'll find more people who were in the same boat you are.

  • JASIG CASE + hive (third-party SSO)

    Hello

    We are currently assessing hive and is one of the conditions that we have to integrate a third party authentication provider UNIQUE (CASE Jasig). I followed the steps defined in the Oracle Beehive http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/beehive/plugauth-096705.html#compiling_and_packaging_plug-in Pluggable Authentication and managed to get the sso plugin 'work' identity sample (its not work enough to redirect me to a login page).

    Now the question I have (hopefully, you can provide some guidance) is that in order for me to integrate with the 'customer CASE', I need to add some filters in web.xml but whenever I do that and I restart the hive, the BEECLIENT does not start.

    I don't know if its because miss me a .jar file (I copied the .jar CASE $ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/lib/ext) or if there is something I can activate (DEBUG MODE) on the hive that can help me solve the problem. Adds additional filters in the web.xml file possible?

    It is more or less what I wanted to add (note, I tried this in the following file: $ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/BEECLIENT/applications/teamcollaboration/teamcollaboration/WEB-INF/web.xml)

    Thanks in advance!

    It's been a while since I watched this. You should be able to use

    private static final String s_classname = . class.getName ();
    private static Logger s_logger is Logger.getLogger (s_classname);.
    in your classroom

    then, for example:
    If (authuser! = null) {}
    If (s_logger.isLoggable (Level.FINEST))
    s_logger.log (Level.FINEST, "identity header value:"+ authuser ');
    If (ignoreValue! = null & authuser.equals (ignoreValue))
    {s_logger.log (Level.FINEST, "ignored identity header value:"+ authuser ");}
    AuthUser = null; }
    authuser return; }

    My apologies for the terrible formatting...
    I forget exactly where it connects to. assuming that it is an instance of dev, you're probably better just by turning all modules up to FINEST logging at the appropriate place (maybe on the Site BeehiveRootLogger).
    (I'll put reference to the bug 9577281 here, for later if you do not see the newspapers everywhere so I don't need to go find it).

  • Pilot third party JDBC and domain Extension

    Hi everyone, I am using a third-party driver to acess some inherited in my company database. I'm adding them in WebLogic (v. 10.3.3.0) Classpath by setting the EXT_PRE_CLASSPATH in the setWLEnv.sh file. Everything worked well until now, until I had to extend my domain to account for new settings. The Configuration Wizard hangs in the Middle saying: "a fatal error has occurred. This Application will end '. By inspecting the logs, I see the wizard attempted to get my Data Source that uses the third-party driver and could not find the class driver. I would like to know if there is a better way to add the library to the Weblogic classpath or someway to work around this problem in the extension. In my current situation, I have to delete the data source, in the field and reconfigure the data source, which is big trouble!
    Any help would be appretiated! Thank you

    PS: I also tried to add the third-party driver JAR in the CLASSPATH in config.sh file, but unfortunately, the error was the same!

    You can place your jars in the lib of the domain directory.

    WebLogic uses a separate class loader to load classes from the domain's lib directory. This classloader
    is a child of the system class loader and a relative of the Chargers for custom classes application. Classes and
    resources in any file .jar in the directory are automatically available for all applications.

    Note, however, that the lib classloader field does not support the redeployment, dynamic a reload or FastSwap and can not
    refer directly to the code in the application classloaders. But I think that this is not a problem, you just want your
    third driver JDBC to be available for your applications.

    Hi rocamora,.

    The OSSO server is not finding your plugin in the classpath. When you compile the code, you can try this.

    javac - classpath $ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/OC4J_SECURITY/applib/INESSO.jar:$ORACLE_HOME/sso/lib/ipastoolkit.jar:$ORACLE_HOME/j2ee/home/lib/servlet.jar d $ORACLE_HOME/sso/plugin SSOINEAuth.java.

  • Why finder hide Documents and office files in the home directory of the user by activating iCloud drive? What about the behavior of Time Machine backup or third-party applications?

    I'm under MacOS Sierra. I am connected to my iCloud account. I activated the option Desktop and Documents, but I did NOT activate the option optimize Mac storage, because I wanted to make sure that all my files would be available locally, just in case, I would need to work without an internet connection.

    -J' noticed there now a menu iCloud in my sidebar in the Finder, with links to Documents and desktop.

    -J' also noticed that Documents is no longer presented in my favorites in my side bar of the Finder.

    -This last suggests that files saved in 'Documents' are not saved more on my HD... but only in iCloud, which isn't what I want.

    -Then, sailing in the Finder Macintosh HD/users / 'My account' /, I noticed that my Documents and desktop folders are more visible, as if these files are not saved in my home folder most. Which raises the question: where are My Documents and files on my HD, so they are still?

    -Using a shell session in the terminal and again navigate to/Users / 'My account' /, I noticed that my Documents and desktop folders are still there. Which suggest that records and records of office reside actually still in my home folder under users, but Finder actually hide it and present them as being stored in iCloud only disc. It's very confusing.

    This raises several questions:

    -In the first place, why Apple hide Documents and office files in the directory? Why not view these folders in iCloud and directory?

    -Whence the iCloud folder or drive, reside actually on my hard drive?

    -What time Machine. Is it still back up my document files and folders?

    -What games third-party app mirroring backup of My Documents files and folders? They still work properly? (I use Livedrive backup and Sugarsync for files mirrored across several macs).

    -How can I understand that Apple is doing with my folders and files? Some users might be happy with the iCloud drive concept, without worrying about how it works, but I don't take chances, and I want to keep a good understanding about the functioning of my system.

    Could someone explain what is exactly happening?

    With office and selected Documents, access to these files are now in the iCloud Drive, not in your home folder.

    My guess would be that they do not appear in your file because it would be confusing for many people to make them in two places.

    If you want in the Favorites, open iCloud Drive and drag them in the sidebar here.

    All about iCloud drive has been saved on your Mac. With the exception of the office and the Documents, they are in ~/Library/Mobile Documents. However, if you choose optimized storage, older documents are removed from your Mac. I don't know what is "old".

    ~/Documents and ~/desktop have new metadata indicating probably Finder does not display them in a Finder window, only in iCloud drive. They are not hidden in one of the normal methods of unix.

    I have not tested Time Machine or any other backup program. The folder still exist in your directory home, and they still have all the files, I don't think that changes anything.

  • Apple Watch series 2: third-party Applications have control of gps, and exactly what kind of information you get when and after running?

    Third-party applications have control of gps, and exactly what kind of information you get when and after running?

    What I mean is can party like Strava apps or MapMyRun turn on and use the GPS for the courses?

    Also, the default running app, what kind of information you get? During the race, exactly what then I tell me? In addition, exactly what information can I see after I run? I would like to know whether or not she has the cadence.

    Last question: is it easy to verify my info running? Speed and natural lights?

    Thank you!

    Hello

    Information about the integrated training application - including data you can choose to display during training, and where the information is available to see later - are available here:

    Cadence is not measured by the app to training.

  • Three questions.  The heart rate monitor now plays nice with the third-party applications?  Can you run these third-party applications, without the link to your phone?  How much storage?

    My experience with the original watch is that the heartbeat was working fine with apps in the House but does not work well with third-party applications.  Aboriginal health applications were sub par at best.  In addition, he wouldn't these third party apps (Strava), unless you were related to your phone.  A new doesn't do me much good if it is always the case.  Finally, it's great that you can bind your helmet now but what storage is the watch have?  I am not unrealistic, its understandable if its not much, but I hope that it is enough that a few apps and music enough to pass through a 4 hour tour.

    1 WatchOS3 made major changes in this area, and 3rd party applications get access to things like HR. OS3 also makes everything much more receptive. 3rd party applications will need to be updated to play with the HR monitor.

    2. you can run applications 3rd party without the phone with you, but for your type of application, you'll want a series 2 with GPS watch. The likes of Runkeeper OK working in the older shows, but without GPS, they do not really work you need. New - 3rd third party apps will need updates to work with the GPS watch. OS3 software has been available to developers for a while now, so I expect software updates only very quickly. I don't know if or when 3rd parties had access to the equipment and GPS devices, s, then it may be some while before they have series 2 updates.

    3. you can store 2 GB of music. How much music that is depends of course format and quality, but certainly several hours.

    Hope that helps

  • Effects of third party to iMovie?

    In the earlier version of iMove (which I think was much better), there are packages from third-party additional transitions, both video and audio effects, title formats (and font) that Apple has approved and sold.  Work in the new iMovie, or is there some good packages for the new version?

    Gary

    Hi, Gary.

    Unfortunately, new version of iMovie does not support 3 third-party applications/plugins.

    Mi6 still works, and you can edit there and share/export your clips imported into the new version.

  • The file that is saved or used by a third party through the Flash Player Plugin disappears when I close firefox?

    My settings in Firefox are:
    Indicate the sites I want to be the subject of a follow-up.
    Clear history of Firefox closing.
    Keep Cookies until Firefox is closed, and
    Warn me when Web sites try to install add-ons.

    Flash player and Adobe Air are not installed, but I have in the game from the Flash drive to make me reject the third-party application and I simply live with not having access to the videos.
    If the third file is deleted when I close firefox so I would like to install Flash player after isolate my personal files from the third party.

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    I don't know that Firefox can or removes it Flash "local storage objects", which is the kind of storage of the data of the Flash Player asks questions on. There is an add-on for this, so I suspect that this is not automatic:
