Deployment problem push SDK samples

Hi all

I'm trying to deploy the sample applications that came with the latest version of the SDK Push (debugging and sample push initiator information) and I get following error:

FYI, I installed the SDK push under Program Files/BBS, after I uninstalled it and tried different directory error dissapeare. I should have try that first (before applying my own PropertyStore)

Trying to get push working just sample using the SDK and push the capture application example (webworks one) and not having a chance. Note there is no custom code not involved at all at this stage - just the sdk + sample app.

-With the help of push public

-The latest version of the SDK with tomcat and samples of low and high.

-Entered my URL push e-mail (https://cpXXXX.pushapi.eval.blackberry.com)

I can save the device and I can use low level sample to make a subscription request and I see the device in the list.

Every time I have to send a message, although it never comes thru and to apply for State (which works BTW) I see 2001 Code and message "the request was refused. (username/password incorrect or missing name, etc.). «,.

Given that I can do other transactions (subscriptions, the query message status query) that use the same user/app id and password I don't think it's a matter of credentials.

Counsel on how to solve this further?

I have tried from this thread from 2 different places in my class that I have defined as:

Device deployment requires AIR SDK 3.4 or higher

I just installed FB 4.7 (OS X 10.7.5) and followed the instructions "toupdate the AIR SDK" (skip step 2) and installed the AIR SDK 3.5.0.890.
I then create my configuration (targeting Apple iOS) run with the "install the application on the USB device" checked I get: -.
Device deployment requires AIR SDK 3.4 or higher
How can I fix it?

It seems you must also update the Flex SDK with the AIR skd updates to make it work.

Problem installing WebWorks / Simulator / push SDK

I tried to install WebWorks / Simulator / SDK to push, but these software use InstallAnywhere as an installer. I have problems after the installer because it stops 3/4 of the download. It goes to 100%, but not the load bar full.

I have tried everything I learned from looking around Google and so make me add these following:

-J' added to my value to C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_73 environment variable JAVA_HOME

-Currently I have this in my WAY: C:\ProgramData\Oracle\Java\javapath, but I changed it to C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_73\bin. I exchange these values whenever it fails to ensure that one of them works.

-Command line, I used nameofinstaller.exe LAX_VM "C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_73\bin\java.exe"

Can someone help me install this software without having this problem.

Recent versions of Java 1.8 broke these installers. To work around the problem, you can install Java 1.7 and use it to install (change accordingly, JAVA_HOME and PATH environment variables).

Need help running push Widget Widget SDK sample

The Widget SDK is my first foray into developing for BlackBerry.

I downloaded the installer that bundles of the Eclipse IDE (because I had problems with the update of the eclipse) since http://na.blackberry.com/eng/developers/browserdev/eclipse.jsp Simulator that runs when I launch a widget indicates that it is the Smartphone BlackBerry 2.13.0.56 Simulator

I tried to run the example (found on http://docs.blackberry.com/en/developers/subcategories/?userType=21&category=BlackBerry+Widgets&subC...). I have the widget running in the Simulator and the Swing app that runs server-side code works as well, but the messages do not get pushed to the device.

Here are a few questions & information:

1. documentation of this example seems to assume a MDS standalone and not as a plug-in - IDE he talks port 8080, but I found that my instance of MDS is tuned to 28080

2 access localhost 28080 shows me the status of SDM which is

4. I am running Win 7 Ultimate and tried this after letting a MDS access by adding an exception and more completely by disabling the firewall.

5. for the RIM option in server code to push, I get the following exception in the console:

8. After awhile, when you use PAP, the Eclipse console displays "connection of Notification period. Restart of... "and this message keeps repeating.

So, if someone could point me in the right direction to get it to work or give me an idea of what I'm doing wrong, that would be great! I really don't know too much about the development of BlackBerry or SDM or push so I do not know where to start.

BBM SDK sample applications running

Dear all,

I downloaded theBBM v1.3 for BlackBerry Java SDK.
and I tried to launch BBM SDK demo in the sample Apps folder.

I use eclipse IDE and use 8900 Simulator(\eclipse\plugins\net.rim.ejde.componentpack5.0.0_5.0.0.36\components\simulator)

When I try to run it. RUN AS-> Blackberry Simulator. There is a problem of error occur:

C:\eclipse\plugins\net.rim.ejde.componentpack5.0.0_5.0.0.36\components\lib\net_rim_bb_qm_platform.jar cannot be exported because some class inside has been gutted (content of a class file has been deleted).

I don't know how to solve this problem. I hope someone can help me solve this problem.

I have jdev11.1.1.5.0 in combination with weblogic 10.3.5.

my application works fine, while running on integrated wls (just give a click right and on my page jspx - auto deployment).

If I go with manual deployment of option on same wls integrated or stand-alone wls means

I can able to get my login page, if I have some means of connection he did re - direct to my index page than it would be problem? (it doent replicate this kind of integrated wls (auto deployment))

User707, can you on which you deploy the application? It is a stand-alone server or server that comes with jdev?
Question: can you post the url that you use to launch the application on the server? The url contains ".jspx" as part of it?
If Yes, try to remove the ".jspx" out of the url.
