• Problem installing new Simulator

  Hi all

  today I downloaded the new playbook Simulator, I create a virtual machine to follow all instructions, like the previous one, after installing it, restart, it freezes on the screen.i have tried to restart and reinstall but it still freezes.it seems that there is something corrupt, but I have no clue to solve it.thanks all the help.

  

  I've never seen the new sim card stop in the same place, like the others, but I had big problems of reliability with the start-up of the Simulator on the old and the new ones (0.9.2).  (Usually once it starts properly it is basically quite reliable.)

  With the two sims, old and new, it was intermittent.  Intermittent problems are really complicated to troubleshoot and lead many people to jump to conclusions when it works once through chance randomly.  They will display and say oh, 'it worked after I deleted all the files and reinstalled' or "it worked when I rebooted my machine" or "does not work on one machine but did on another" (when they had just tried often enough on the old machine, and it was the luck of the draw).

  I don't say that it's the only thing that is done.  In fact, it may be not yet what most of you are watching the new Simulator.

  All I know is that on my installation, with the former or the new, the thing often don't fully starts (browser with my icons showing and green wallpaper screen) on the first try.  I tried to 'reset' the virtual machine but usually (always? still too early to say) does not.  Usually (but not always) if I don't 'turn off' in VMWare, then restart the virtual machine, it will work.  I think that sometimes I have to do two or three times and I'm sure that sometimes I had to wait for a long time (a minute or two?) so he could make it past a 'sticky' departure time, and then it works.  I did not often enough to pin down who, if not more, of those which has an influence on things, because once it works I obviously just let it run for several days to avoid more trouble.

  In the desperate hope it can help someone: try some actions (like resetting the virtual machine or the power turn VM off/on) repeatedly, at least three times and be patient (like a minute or more of patience when it seems frozen, at least if it's actually using CPU).

  With a little luck, who will get a few more people to a working state, and with the rest we could start to notice a model.

  Hi, I had my first application on air, but I'm now playing with Webworks. during installation it asks the path the air sdk and I then point to the same directory as when I installed the SDK TabletOS.

  I get an error saying that the selected incorrect AIR SDK. Visit a few ADOBEURL to get the latest version of the sdk...

  I got this error when I tried to point to the path of the sdk of Buritto Flash. I had to download and install Adobe AIR SDK from here: http://www.adobe.com/products/air/sdk/

  And pass it the new way.

• Problems installing SDK on Mac Tablet

  I'm trying to move my development environment on my Macbook Pro.   10.6.8 running.  I installed the Adobe AIR sdk and downloaded and unpacked the BlackBerryWebWorksSDK.app directory.   When I try to run it, it starts and left silently.   When I try to run it from the terminal (using 'open') I get a message on LSOpenURLsWithRole failed with the error-10810 which seems to be based on permissions.   I tried to install as root.  I manually deleted property of quarantine to see if that helped.  No go.   Has anyone else seen elsewhere?

  Thank you.    This newspaper had enough information for me debug the problem.   The content of BlackBerryWebWorksSDK.app/Contents/MacOS unpacked without Execute permissions.   Once I added the Execute permissions on these three files, the run installation program.

  I don't know why this happened, but it happened every time.

• Problem installing device a1530n

  Running Win XP Media Center Edition.  Had minor graphical problems at the top of the IE bar periodically endangered.  Decided to remove the Intel (r) 82945G Express Chipset adapter in Device Manager and then do a scan for new hardware.  And now I get the message of the new hardware detected that says.

  Cannot install this hardware

  There was a problem installing this hardware:

  Intel (r) 82945G Express Chipset Family

  An error occurred during the installation of the device

  Access is denied.

  I am connected to the computer as an administrator.  I tried to install this even in safe mode and get the same error above.  Any clues on what do I do?  The computer runs only in VGA mode.

  I have a problem installing win xp to Satellite p300-133.
  To resolve this problem, I have tried the solutions:
  switch to ahci mode in bios and incorporating storage drivers compatibility intel to the installation cd xp with nlite, but none of them solved the problem.

  Laptop computer starts from the cd of xp and xp installation says "program Setup inspects your hardware configuration" and then a blank black screen comes.
  After that, the installation does nothing and waits indefinitely.

  The two methods are good!
  You can install the Win XP without drivers Intel Storage Manager (SATA drivers) but in this case the SATA mode must be on compatible mode.
  It works for sure!

  The second method is the installation of the SATA drivers with nLite (drivers can be integrated into the new drive Win XP).

  I put t understand why this doesn t work on your laptop. I think it's a problem with your Win XP drive. Contains this Win XP SP2 or SP3?
  If this isn't the case, then you should use nLite to include min the Win XP SP2.

  b. is the drive not getting recognized at all?
  c. is this a new drive?
  d. are other discs get recognized?

  Do a clean boot, and then check to see if you can install the game.

• Problem installing PCI-6220

  Hello

  I have problems installing a PCI-6220. The card has been installed a couple of years on a PC and rarely used. I withdrew from the it and connected to a new PC (Intel core i3 2.93 GHz, Windows7). After installing the card on the new PC in a first time, I could read the name of PCI6220 under 'Devices and interfaces' (in the program MAX) but I´d not been able to define it as a device. So I tried to remove the card and plug it in again and now the situation is even worse, I only see an "unidentified PXI system" in the program of MAX.

  Any idea what bad and what can do to make sure that the card does not work properly? As a reference, I need to connect to a CA-1000 enclosure housing a CB-68LPR device.

  Thanks for the reply. I was able to finally get the new Webroot program to install after running a Microsoft Fix affecting the directory uninstall the old prgm Webroot and meets a new error code (1603), which led me to this site to permissions Grant full control to the SYSTEM account.

  I have recently (June 2014) bought a brand new Ipod Classic 7 G 160 GB Model A1238.

  Whenever I connect via USB to a PC running XP SP3 and Itunes V10.0.7.2 it is always treated as if it were a new connection, i.e. "new hardware found". After trying to install it, it says so "cannot install this hardware" and "there was a problem installing this hardware: Apple iPod USB Device."
  I have also a 2009 16 GB Ipod Nano 4 G model 1285 and this is recognized by the PC whenever it is connected through the USB port itself.
  I connected the Ipod Classic 7 G to a laptop running Vista and Itunes V10.0.7.2 where the Ipod is recognized and installed.

  Even if the PC States that there is a problem installing the Ipod, it still appears in Itunes and I can download music to it and disconnect by using safe mode disconnect.

  I watched "Device Manager" under "Drives", the Ipod Classic is listed as an "Apple Ipod USB Device", but has an exclanation score against it.

  Right-click on the 'Apple Ipod USB Device' properties and the "Volumes" tab it shows the drive with the exact name and the size of the data, by clicking on the properties of "Driver" tab it says 'Unknown' driver provider, driver Date and Driver Version as being "not available". By clicking on the "Driver Details" properties, it shows a driver file-

  C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\PartMgr.sys, File Version 5.1.2600.5512 (xpsp080413-2108).

  Under "Device Manager" USB controllers, there is an entry for "Apple Mobile Devices USB Driver" and a "USb Mass Storage Device"

  The 'Apple Mobile Devices USB Driver' lists two drivers:
  C:\WINDOWS\System32\Drivers\usbaapl.sys and
  C:\WINDOWS\System32\usbaaplrc.sys

  The "USB Mass Storage Device" list a driver:
  C:\WINDOWS\System32\Drivers\USBSTOR. SYS

  PC XP SP3 - Ipod Nano

  I repeated the steps above with the Ipod Nano, connected to the PC and the driver provider is presented as Microsoft with the driver as 07/01/01 Date and Version of the driver as 5.1.2535.0.
  In the "Driver Details" properties, it shows TWO driver files:

  C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\disk.sys AND meanings
  C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\PartMgr.sys.
  At the same time with the Version of the file 5.1.2600.5512 (xpsp080413-2108).

  The 'Apple Mobile Devices USB Driver' and "USB Mass Storage Device" are the same as for the Ipod Classic.

  I followed the procedure to remove Itunes and even the update to Itunes to V11.2.2 nothing works.

  I am aware that the system is also that XP can now be updated.

  (a) disconnect the printer

  (b) uninstall the software and drivers on the computer

  (c) plug the printer back

  (d) allow the Hardware Wizard search for drivers

  e) if it does not, it asks you to install the source for the drivers, the installation driver CD and install the drivers and see if that helps.
