Derby in Netbeans IDE database connectivity problem

I use the latest version of Netbeans IDE
I've already put the variable JAVA_HOME and DERBY_HOME, as well as path variables.
I am trying to connect to the database in network Mode
by using the following code

......
Try
{
Class.forName ("org.apache.derby.jdbc.ClientDriver");
}
catch (ClassNotFoundException System.Exception)
{
exception.printStackTrace ();
}
.....

but it gives the error of execution that "failed to load the driver.
Please help me get through this

Try adding the following to your class:

Import org.apache.derby.jdbc.ClientDriver;

If he produces an error, your pilot *.jar file is not in the classpath.

  • How to question dignosis between P6 web and database connection problem.

    Hi all

    Initially we have access to P6 via a URl server http://ip: 7001 / p6

    We have migrated our server to the new support. now above the URL does not work.

    but instead of the IP if I get p6 URL, server name opens http://servername:7001 / p6

    But I am not able to connect. (I'm not able to extend the button Advanced also to see the name of the database).

    I think that P6 does not connect to the database. (Our database is available on another machine and I can ping this machine server request P6).

    Please let me know, how can I diagnose this problem of connectivity.

    On the server where P6 is installed, run the dbconfigpv.sh/cmd again and reconfigure the database connection. Also, run adminpv.sh/cmd. Login with privuser and check the connection to the base there. Test to verify that it is able to connect to the database. If you change any setting then restart weblogic server for the change to take into account.

    Like many, I know, it has nothing to do with the developer Oracle or forms. His problem of pure operating system (XP). I have sued to get this a lot on XP machines, sometimes it disappears on its own, and sometimes I had to reinstall Forms Developer.

    Dear Dreamwevaer associated,

    I try to connect to the host local user 'root '.

    It shows:

I would like to ask for your help on how to fix the above error. I reinstalled the XAMPP and mySQL connector/ODBC, but the result is the same, I can only create table in myPHP and select record in mySQL. Please indicate how to solve the problem

    Your help is very appreciated.

    Chris

    Ok. So I suppose that looking at one screen captures is that you have mapped the local and the testing server folder in the same folder.

    You must set the server folder were you installed XAMPP which must be different from the local folder. See the links below for more details of ore.

    http://helpx.Adobe.com/Dreamweaver/using/set-testing-server.html

    http://www.Adobe.com/devnet/Dreamweaver/articles/setup_testing_server.html

    I found the MMHTTPDB files and mysql under the page D:\mypage\phptest\_mmServerScripts site. How can I connect to the database?

    When you set the local server correctly, you can copy the folder "_mmServerScripts" it on the record of the test server.

  • Problem installation database connectivity Kit

    My company manufactures in several factories around the world.  I have a problem in China and that you want to debug, and because the code is distributed in the form of exe, it is a problem.  My approach was to install a trial license of 30 days of LV2010 SP1, intend to withdraw when debugging is done.  So far, so good.  The problem is that the application requires the database connectivity Toolkit.  I downloaded a copy and tried to install.  It says it can't install because LV2010 is not installed.  Is it because of the eval license?

    If I wanted to rewrite hundreds of applications running, I could do that, but what I want is to install the DB Toolkit for a bit of troubleshooting.

    If NEITHER would alter the conditions on their license server, I would not have these problems.

  • How to enable detailed connection tracing ODI Studio? and how do I resolve a connection problem.

    Is it possible to get a detailed trace of connection attempts from the studio of ODI on my deposit work?

    I tried to enable tracing in changeant...\oracledi\client\odi\bin\ODI-logging-config.xml according to the instructions that I found here: http://haithanh8x.blogspot.com/2013/03/ODI-11g-agent-logging-tracing.html

    The studio.log file has been created, but it is empty.

    I use studio ODI and basically I want to troubleshoot why I can't connect to the repository. When I try the Test button, I get an error "Invalid repository connection", here is the error that is displayed under Details:

    oracle.odi.core.config.WorkRepositoryResourceFailureException: ODI-10182: Uncategorized exception for access to the repository.

    Could not make JDBC connection; nested exception is java.sql.SQLException: Exception occurred while getting connection: oracle.ucp.UniversalConnectionPoolException: cannot get data source connection: java.sql.SQLRecoverableException: IO error: the network adapter could not establish the connection

    at oracle.odi.core.repository.Repository.getWorkRepository(Repository.java:195)

    at oracle.odi.core.OdiInstance.createWorkRepository(OdiInstance.java:531)

    .........

    .....

    ..

    Other important details:

    1.-s' Please note that before I use the Test button under the repository login Panel, I'm able to choose my work deposit that was recovered in the receiving of work section using the magnifying glass.

    2 - I am able to connect to the database with SQLDeveloper using JDBC, in fact I can connect with exactly the same connection string that I use in ODI, also I have no problems connecting to the database using SQLPlus.

    3. - this repository database is on a cluster and as mentioned, I have no problems to connect to it with other tools. Don't know if being in a cluster makes a difference (I tried hostname, scan name and the names of vip to connect)

    4 - this database is running in another server, and I have had no problems connecting to the front. In fact, I restore to a different server no CARS and was able to use ODI. (maybe something in the new RAC server that does not allow the connection?)

    I would like to get a path to better understand what is happening while the Studio tried to connect to the repository. It seems to me it is able to read the name of the repository work so I don't understand why there are connection problems later.

    Question: is it the fact that I am able to read the repository name means JDBC work? (Please confirm)

    I'm running out of ideas on what to try, so your help is appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Answer the questions:

    1-to get a detailed trace

    One option is to use a thick connection instead of a thin. This requires the installation of customer Oranet and settings but allows you to trace the SQL in the side server. That will let you know what the problem is.

    2. to turn on tracing

    Under search support Oracle Oracle Data integrator, there is an information center that includes detailed instructions and examples (files) on how to configure tracing.

    3 - If the test button works and pulls the name of the repository work means that the connection works, unfortunately, is not sufficient because ODI does not use the connection string supplied to connect to the repository instead, it uses the language sql stored in the repository and uses SQL to connect, so location you will see two connections for the initial attraction of the repository data, and then the other link with the chain withdrew from the database. In this case, the problem was that the database of repository has been migrated to another server, the previous server that the connection was made with localhost, but it does not work on the current server, because it runs on CARS, so outside the ODI, I updated the SQL used to connect with the SCAN name instead , and I was able to connect. The SQL is illustrated in the trace obtained using a thick client.

  • Strange delay in database connections

    We are witnessing a strange delay when our JDBC client tries to make 4 connections to the database. The first connection takes 27 seconds (sometimes more) and 3 other connections are less than 1 second. As you can see in the ourJDBCclient log number 0 started at 09:09:11 connection request. He hit the listener at 09:09:11, and a strange gap of 27 seconds before ourJDBCclient reports a successful connect at 09:09:38 on the second line of the ourJDBCclient newspaper. In the source code, open connections are called right after the other. No idea where delay could come from?

    Note that you referred, stipulates however a fix in 11.2.0.3 - so perhaps Oracle has of a workaround in this version? Or a better way to do what to do.

    This score gave strace results where socket connect() calls are made to (DNS?) IP addresses on port tcp 53 (DNS service port). That seems to be the problem... However, the note provides more technical details.

    And seeing that 11.2 is widely used and not widely, this occurs, it means something different in your installation and/or the environment.

    It would also be that this note has nothing to do with the question that you have, apart from sharing similar symptoms.

    I'd still go to isolate the error using SQL * more than the client (with debugging SQL * Net tracing on). Once the error can be triggered reliably somehow, then I turn on the SQL Server side * Net / debug tracing listener and resort to using commands like lsof and strace.

    You can also file an SR with Oracle support and let them provide you with clear instructions of what to do in order to provide useful diagnostics to solve the problem.
