  I created a pdf document using Adobe Acrobat XI base and want to put a link on each page, return to the table of contents.   I face the same problem as well. Would like to know if there is a better way to get the text box to move with the table instead of the effect that overlap. Have to manually adjust the layout, whenever I want to get a reasonable print of a document (or export it to PDF) seems counterintuitive, especially when it causes the document seem ill-disposed on screen.

  I am running version 3.6.2 of the numbers in the case where that matters.

  you will not be able to insert a variable into a textfield.  you are going to assign to the text of your TextField property set to one of your points of variables to.

  Thus, for example, if you have:

  What I'm trying to do is to create a text with several layers of contours, different colors. An example of what I am trying to learn is like this creation of logo here... http://thunderfuel.com - the logo is the text THUNDERFUEL, which has a drop shadow, then an outer edge surrounding, then another shade.
  
  When I create a text - no problem.
  
  When I do the shadow - no problem
  
  But when I select the text and the increase of the marquis of selection to create the external environment of color (like the outside of this logo plate) - filling becomes jagged. I tried feathering of the selection before choosing, after selection, the fill property feathered - but there always is by stairs, or too little sharp.
  
  Someone there advice how to use fw - mx to create this kind of described multiple text effects, or do I have to use something else like iilustrator or PS, or something else? (if all goes well no cause I have not either, but whatever...)

• Keep the layer names when describing the text

  I would like to know if there is a way to keep the names of the objects/layers of text when the text is converted to text outline, using scripts.

  I create files with dozens of text layers (player names on the back of the jerseys of sport) and send the .ai file to manufacturers. This means that I have to expose the text, but when I do, the layers all lose their names and everything becomes "< Group >.

  Can anyone think of a way of naming these layers with the text they contain?

  It is impossible, if the text is underlined.

  But it is possible for the text and the outline of the text via script (don't forget that the selected text is only filled with no effects or stroke)

  You can try something like this:

• Avoiding Rich black in the files for printing

  Situation: One our vendors with which I work is printed paper, which suggests no black rich in PDF files or files HAVE.

  Problem: Despite a palette limited (in which I use 100% black, white and a range of primary colors), the definition both a Rich Black element seems to find its way files in my working file HAVE (and there PDF for printing). I noticed this happened sometimes when I copy the text (or elements of black color) since another file I and then paste the items into the file, I'm working on that. It seems to happen only a few times. Outside by clicking on each black element - to research on the artboard and it controls in the color window to see only the black is 100% and CMY are all 0%, it is a surefire way to avoid the intense black in every capacity (especially in the fine print)? I saw the appearance of the black panel, but which seems to deal only with the screen devices and output RGB.

  Any help or advice is appreciated! I would like to solve this problem.

  Side-note: I use CC on a Mac.

  Check your files in Acrobat format.

  Use the separations Panel in Illustrator. Disbling the rear channel should give you a clue that is opposed to inspect more

  I bought a new laptop from HP which works under Windows 7 (64-bit). I tried to download the driver for my HP laserjet 1022 printer - the website shows that this printer should work with Windows 7 with the driver available for download from the HP site. When I click to download the driver it starts to download, but then I get the following message "downloading lj1020-HP-pnp-win64 - in .exe was interrupted. I'm trying to resume the download and the same thing happens each and every time.

  Sarah - I dsl which is at the lower end of DSL speed and I can tell you that I sometimes have problems download from the HP site.  The HP software is quite 'bulky' and/or 'intense' (I have no other way to describe it).  If it gets interrupted it usually leaves.  My guess is that it's your connection mobile broadband is not not a connection permanently at times causing the interruption.  If you have no regular internet type, try to go to a mobile hotspot that is free in a city near you or a store that offers for free (Panera, McDonalds, Starbucks, etc.) and download the file from there.  Make sure your firewall is active and security to prevent unauthorized entry into your computer during download.
