Description and title of the application do not take effect in location

Hello

I can't search messages according to my topic relvant. Maybe I had walked into the wrong keywords. So, I post my question here, and wish a certain can provide assistance. Thanks in advance!

In short, my question is: why it does not work when linking the application title and description with the resource key for multi-language.

------------------------------------------------

Here is the detailed information.

Firstly, the development environment is the last JDE plugin for Eclipse. It has been tested with phones as real Simulator, with different OS (4.5, 4.6 and 5.0), and all have the same result. So I chose the Simulator as example to explain my problem.

The steps are:
1.) create a BB project and create resources (.rrc and .rrh) files, for the English and the French, which contain only two resource. (See the image below).

2.) bind the application title and description with the relevant resource key. (Leave the default title and description blank)

3.) launch of the Simulator to check the result. At first, English language, go in "Options-> Applications-> (press the name of my test application). Please note that the description of the application is "not available".

4.) change the language for the French, the name of the application has changed in the application list. But when you check the description of the app again, it is not always as expected.

5.) then I add content to the default title and default description.

6.) start the Simulator again. Please note that the description using the description by default, but no link.

7.) change the language to French again. The description still not in force.

So, do you have advice for this problem? Any suggestion is really appreciated!

A correction to my previous post.  The localized names and descriptions are provided with the ALX file, but are not met in the JAD file.  This is why you must use an installation method that uses the ALX file.

For deployments of the JAD file you need to detect the language accepted (via the HTTP header) on the web server and serve a JAD file that has the appropriate language populated.
